More important it seems to be to press the agenda of the nuclear energy lobby. You should be proud of yourself. The nuclear power lobby thanks you. Let's talk frank, shall we not. I can't follow that logic. I'm sorry you feel that way. Part of the signature form encourages people to state which group or organization they are a part of. It was meaningful to mention my groups, as they are for the purpose of activism and part of our autonomous social center in Arcadia. The purpose of this thread was for Second Life residents to become aware of the open letter, and to have some fun posting their pics. Please lets not let the thread go to waste by having a petty argument. It will only drive people away, and I see no reason why this would be meaningful at all.

This thread is for what I state it is about in the original post. I'm mentioning my groups because through these I can reach many people. At the time of this writing I can hope to reach 118,885 people in summa. I'm not trying to sell anything, and there is no hidden agenda. That can easily be back tracked online where you will find that I'm using my social media accounts for activism and non-profit causes, such as BLM, Climate Strike, or the Artist Relief Event. I also think that some brands are participating in some activism because they hope to make more sales, and while I'm not motivated by financial profit myself, anyone participating in climate activism is having a positive effect, regardless of the "why" they are doing it. So, even if you don't like me for personal reasons (which you have made clear in an email to me some time ago, Drako), it doesn't mean that everything I do must automatically be disregarded or disliked as well. I believe that awareness should be raised where ever possible, and when ever it fits - which is right now as this letter is in circulation and accepting signatures. In this case, it can be combined with a fun activity, like posting pics that can be generated on the web page of this open letter at https://climateemergencyeu.org/#pbgen I also believe that we must not give up or become discouraged by thinking "what I do doesn't matter anyway". If I felt that way, I would have long quit Second Life, but as it is, I still believe in this platform because it allows me to surround myself with people who appreciate me, I can express myself creatively, and I can hope to raise awareness by also reaching people through Second Life for causes that I deeply care about. I know it is probably not resonating with you, but please never think that what you do is a lost cause. Especially in tech we have a lot of allies who understand the climate emergency, and they have power too. I'm not very powerful, but even if only a handful of people watching the video that I tweeted, or read the letter, or decided to sign it, my effort was not wasted, and that is what I believe in.

Activists, scientists and people from all walks of life (and second life) are currently signing an open letter to the EU and global leaders. Oh, no! Maybe you still have them in the Marketplace Listings window in your SL viewer. I use the Firestorm viewer and it has 4 tabs called All / Listed / Unlisted / Unassociated, maybe it's in one of these. I think the keyword spam flagging happens when you use very generic keyboards, and that's bad for the search. I've looked at your Marketplace and you have a "coffee table" there, which already is coveredin the description, but you still use "coffee" and "table" as keywords - you don't need that! You also seem to repeat the keywords in the Features, although it is already in the product description. Try not to do that, if it's one place already, the search will find it. If you are unsure what shows up in keywords, you can inspect the page source of your Marketplace listing, and look for something like this: <meta name="keywords" content="Furniture,coffee,living room,table,tables,mesh,original,low prim,Old Pine,wood,modern,"/> I hope you can find your listing again. I'm not sure why my news system is all of a sudden such an issue, I've been having that in place since the OpenCollar 3.9 API era in 2013, and used it many times for things that were not related to the collar but to my community. Not everyone is running an ice cold business where everything is business related. I never have, I never will. Nice try. None of this money ends up on my account, as these collars are particularly supporting one other coder, the mesh artist, and the sim. My core product, is cost-free, and until now always has been. This forum topic isn't the alpha and omega of the petition, or its underlying cause. It's obviously not my style as I'm trying here for many hours to make my point, and defend this point, with eloquence and dialectic. I think what you mean is: Why not me? Earlier I responded to you that I'm sorry you couldn't get the help that you needed, when you needed it. But to be quite frank? This is not about you, or some past event. It's about a current issue, that affects people globally, and as it just so happens, we are users of a platform that includes many, many artists and content creators, who need help now, not yesterday or in the past, but right now.

That's why my personal suggestion would be the LindeX or process credit fee. A single variable to change, based on the residents economic limits tier. This appears to be the most simple to implement, but I'm not familiar with their system, and as I said earlier, this is just an educated guess.

Well, when I still was doing commissions, and in the course of things getting more "expensive", it reached a point for me where I had to give away more than half of what I earned (obviously including things like income tax and other costs), but that was before I quit doing commissions and splits. People in other countries have a different situation. You are 100% correct. It's not a hardship. It's slavery.

None of us know the numbers well enough to validate that assumption. We can only make educated guesses, as long time SL content creators. My guess is that reducing or even waiving payment processing fee for 30 to 45 days only for the "Resident 2" economic limits tier and below, isn't going to make a dent in Linden Lab's revenue, while it might (excuse the language) quite literally save some peoples' butts. I think though that lowering private region tier would probably have more negative effects on Linden Lab's revenue, but I wasn't suggesting that, I said "any or all" of all those fees. EDIT: Missing word "fee" added.

I'm not ranking anything by importance, but as you seem to know me, you should know that I do stuff like that every once in a while. I have a banner, a large flag, at Arcadia that regularly changes to make aware of social issues. Small brand owners don't have that reach. I do, and I support them.

I'm doing that for, let me quote my petition: "...artists, performers, indy coders, graphic designers and students..." Those content creators who are in the "Resident 2", or lower, economic limits tier, who's real life business lay dormant during this crisis, and who rely on the small income they make on SL with their little brands. I'm sorry but you seem to only argue for the sake of arguing. That's what it is when taking short, not even whole sentences, into quotes, to try changing the context of the actual comment. It's a method used by trolls to derail topics. I'm trying to defend my position with eloquence, even as a non-native speaker, sound reason, and my humanity. I don't think in numbers at the end of the day, I think in love. And that is what we need right now during distancing, anxiety and financial ruin. We need love firstmost, and then we need money, quite frankly.

Easy choice to make when your real life workshop is shut down during corona crisis. I don't expect that my request "seems reasonable". I think it is just and right.

I'm not sure how you conclude that from the comment you quoted. But let me out on a limb: What if owning a private region is their way to promote their business, and not having that mechanic to advertise and vend their products would mean that the hypothetical 1,000 USD they generally earn that way, got reduced to something like 200 USD?
