Hello Thinkerer, The Metaverse Live Music Expo 2011 was a huge success by all who took part and assisted with its production. We thank every one of you, and thank you Thinkerer, your blog was welcome support too. Please keep in touch, as following our post 2011 debrief, we have several plans within Second Life for the Live Music community and audience, we may have need of your assistance again. SP

Hello Alazarin, sorry to have taken such a while to get back to your post. The Metaverse Live Music Expo for 2011 has closed now; however, we will be back again this time next year. If you contact me in world I can invite you to join the musician's group. We intend to keep Metaverse Live Music Expo within full view of the residents of Second Life by attending events such as Second Life 8th Birthday Party in the summer, along with other events too. There is purpose for live artists of Second Life to remain within our Musician's Group. Not only will they receive advance notice of our 2012 event, we are constructing an area for musicians to test streams and program their local equipment for sound test. This area could be a pleasant place to hold an audition with your potential venue owner if you wish. We invite constructive ideas and critique from our members and will do our best, where possible, to provide you with useful information and facilities. We are a not-for-profit organization manned by volunteers, who are not associated with any Second Life venue or band. As such we remain operational without bias or favor. SP

Metaverse Live Music Expo (April 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th) is offering Live Music Venue owners an exclusive opportunity to promote their venue(s) to performing musicians and the general public of Second Life. We have a four day public event set on two stages, comprising of almost seventy hours of live music. We are inviting you to join us in celebrating the music industry and take part within this magnificent Expo. What do you need to do to get your venue exposed? Just send a notecard giving a brief description of your venue, the genre of music, with your opening times, complete with your venue texture and landmark... all full perm ...to Selene Putzo or Jeff Hickman and we will do the rest to expose your venue. Cross marketing is good for everyone; if you can rez a one prim Metaverse Live Music Expo advert on your land, we will be very happy to supply one for you. Will there be a Linden Snowball fight just like last year?

Hello Kim, welcome to SL. If you can spare a moment I would be interested to know what areas you intend to promote Second Life to, and how it will be of benefit to them. I'm sure lots of people have mentioned that Second Life is not a game, it is considered by the population within it as a virtual world. I can say that it holds as much potential as anything in the Real world. If you get a chance to explore it deeply, I hope you will see this too.
