I've heard things about separating the cache for viewers, but is this something that needs to be done for each avatar? I have three. Two of them are used from time to time, one often. My oldest has the largest inventory and it takes forever to load it when I sign on as her. Since I don't use this avatar, I'm slowly thinning out the inventory, but I wondered if I have the cache set up correctly. I use the Phoenix Viewer 1.5.2.1102 for all three avatars. I understand that the cache is where things are stored, and I see that each of my avi's has a folder set up in their name. Is that enough? Is there more I can do to move the inventory loading along?

Well, here I am again so soon. The joys of a land owner. There is an object that is refusing to let me return it to the owner. It's also odd that the person who rezzed it, and owns it, cannot delete or pick it up. Any ideas on why? Maybe it's a glitch and a ticket submission is the way to go? Also, I reset a bunch of rental boxes since I moved locations and had no problems except with one that gives me the message, "no key found for <avatar name>. Every single other one worked just fine. I've check spelling, even copy pasted the name from the profile and still I get the message. I changed rental boxes too, just in case. Still the same message. I just changed the group to the new name and nothing under the old name flew off! I did make sure the value on the autoreturn was zero. Thank you everyone for your awesome help!!!

Thank you, Luc! This sounds promising. I see that right now my land is not set to any group at all, yet the items that are set to the old group are still there. So, am I right to think that if the auto return value is set to 0 (zero), then if I change the name of the land to the new group name, the items will stay until people have a chance to come move them to the new location and reset the group?

Thanks Monti. I'm wondering why there would be an option in "about land" to allow things only to the group if the only way is to deed the land. Somethings just don't make sense to me even after all this time.

My business partner previously owned the land and created a group so that others in that group could rez prims. Recently, he sold the land to me since he is not able to be in SL much anymore. The group that he created got a bit out of control since he had never set it as invitation only, so I created a new group that is invitation only. I also decided to redesign the build, so began the new build up a little higher than the original. The items I've placed on the new build are under the new group name, which is no problem since I own the land. However, others are not able to rez items on the land, which is still under the previous name, and they are wearing the correct (old) tag. Under land options I have allowed the old group all that I can, as far as I can see, but still they cannot rez items. So, question one is, why? Also, one person is designated as an owner and still cannot rez items. Question two is, if I change the land to the new group name, will the items that others have already placed under the old group name fly back into their inventories? The land is not deeded, and I really don't want to do that if at all possible. I'm hoping I didn't really mess up and that there will be a quick fix. Keeping my fingers crossed.
