@Parhelion Palou There seems to be an issue that everyone in SL is having. Maybe some are lucky enough not to feel it. I've never had network issues with SL. Something is brewing and it's really bad. @Penny Patton It blows my mind away that instead of making SL bigger and better, they decide to go the opposite direction. Look at me for example. I built a post apocalypse city. The size of the sim limits my ability to expand and make it look grand. Especially when driving or wanting to do more. I get it it's expensive to have a sim. How doe sit really work? Why can't they upgrade the system and allow for a sim to be 4 times the size and allow us to choose how many prims we want? Suppose I want a sim 10 times larger than what I have but for half the prims? I could build a game within a game in SL that allows for endless play time. I've heard about people flying airplanes from airport to airport. How do you do that on a sim when from corner to the other takes 3 seconds to achieve? 14 years is a long time for SL to be out and still feel and play the same as it did when it first started. I've seen it grow with my own eyes yet.....nothing has changed besides the cosmetic side of it. We all know in the video game industry it's not about looks. It's about how the game plays. Granted this is not a game. It's a great platform to make a game within a game. I'm so limited to what I can do it drives me nuts. I think $300 a month for a sim is too much if you ask me. Time to expand the sims and let our talents run wild.

Hi, My name is Lord Derryth. Most people know me as Deeds Greenacre. I've been in SL for over 14 years now. I've been noticing some strange things happening on my sim. I built an Urban Zombie Apocalypse city. For those that know me. I have an OCD. Things need to be aligned and perfect. We all know that SL is not perfect and it never will be. My roads are in pieces and I use snap to grid to align perfectly with one another. For some odd reason. I've been aligning my roads for the past two weeks. You see. My sim is either haunted or SL on it's last leg. My roads keep getting unaligned. I've noticed buildings moving in front of my own eyes. I don't know if this is a delay of some sort or maybe the sim keeps rolling back 5 seconds. There have been many people stating the same things I have. Their sim is becoming unpredictable and things are moving around. I get it. Sansar! The new project that LL decided would be a great idea. Sadly! It was a poor idea. As I stated before. I've been in SL for 14 years. I've seen this world grow before my own eyes. Why bring Sansar into the virtual world? If it's broken, fix it. SL seems to have been broken for 14 years and never fixed. Now we have sansar. Call this conspiracy theory. Is LL trying to destroy SL and push us to Sansar? I have never seen SL or been in SL dealing with such lag and unpredictable servers for this long. I'm talking about going on 9 days. Can't log in. Get disconnected. Lag to the point nothing loads. Items on sim moving. Major city uneven and nearly destroyed. Everyday feels like a Tuesday. What is really going on here? Is it the end of days?? PS What is this Cloud stuff?

OMG!! This had me dying. I'd like to introduce Shadows to you. She's not autistic but kinda worse then autistic. She's been stalking me for the past 5 months now harassing my RL. We've spoken to the police department in her city about possible suicide threat. She's also been posting my RL information in SL. I did not know this thread was still around and active. No. I'm not new around here. Actually, I celebrated 14 years of SL with Deeds Greenacre in September. Yes. I'm still banned and I don't care honestly. I've managed to build a thriving city in SL and this fiasco is now a distance memory.

This is never happened to me before. So how do I use up the money that's now sitting in my USD??

I cancelled it. Now what happens to my $24? Do they refund it, or can I do a purchase for instant lindens? I never seen that option and I wish I never done it. Never again!

Has anyone had this issue? If so, has the linden at any time arrived? I spent $24.00 on linden and it was never sent to me. I had 8,126L on my avatar. I purchased 7,500L for $24 at the exchange on secondlife.com and the lindens never arrived. I should have 15,626 linden on my avatar. Who do we contact to get this correct asap? I used Best Rate Buy (Limit Buy).

Currently using Niramyth but was wondering where I can find the RGB skin color for creators. I remember there was a website that listed all the colors. I'm looking for L'Etre Sandy RGB for my niramyth body.

I'd like to also mention, he replied to my review calling me idiot and that I don't know anything instead of proving me wrong and saying the product does do those things. Apparently the product was false advertisement and he got mad. He just got caught up.

If you claim a product can do this and that and the customer buys it but it can't do this and that until the future updates, doesn't that mean he lied to his customers? It's a good product now but when it was released it wasn't. All you can do is chat with other product users and play tic tac toe. Now the product actualy works as advertised but those features you need to buy in-store credit with linden and use those to buy the features. So basically, he said it does this an that, but it didn't. I simply posted in the review that the product does not do "this and that" that it's basically a phone with no features. I was behing honest. To some people, they would read my review and say "well, I'm still buying the phone and hoping those features come out soon". Others would say "I'll just wait until those features come out before I buy the phone". So how does that ruin his business?

That's not the phone in discussion. I do not wish to name the person, business or product. In all honesty, he's a really nice guy. His customer support is amazing. His products are amazing. It just saddens me that a creator would take full advantage of me because of a bad review. I guess honesty will take you so far. Lately I've noticed his business has fallen and he's not making a lot of products anymore.

Here is what he did. Since this was a year ago now I remember. He disabled my updates and banned me from his parcel without refund. I then changed my review to 5 stars and wrote very nice things about it just so he can unban me and continue my updates. So my phone did not work and all my products were disabled since they were server side. I sent him this message "Can you please refund me $L1,900 since you disabled my phone? You either unban me and continue my support or refund me money. You took my money, disabled my access and not refunding me. I gave you a good review what more do you want?" This is from my notecard I just read. My message to him was not vulgar or using foul language. I was being honest with him and even told him the phone was not as advertised nor did it sync with my security products that I purchased from him. In all honesty, why does LL allow creators to abuse us because of a rating system? I'm scared to give a bad rating on a product because I might be banned from another creator. The reason why I'm going after this is because I've been buying from him for a long time now and I love his products. It's just that one product. Here's the kicker. I own the phone on another avatar. Talk about a valued customer. /sadface

I was banned because I gave 3 stars to a product that was misleading. He messaged me asking for me to remove it. I refused. He gave me a refund (which I never asked for) and told me I was banned from his products and I will receive no updates. I need an update for a security orb and a few other products. It's not fair that there's a review feature on the market yet we can't be honest about it and get bullied by creators. There's no more story to it, this is it. Just a creator ticked off about a bad review. It was a phone that can handle huds. It had a lot of features. The only problem was, he never mentioned that the features would be in the future. So I purchased the product thinking those features where in there. I told him he needs to correct his advertisement. I basically put in the review that it was a lie and that the product did not have those features. When the features are released, you have to pay for them separately. An empty phone with future features to pay for.

It's been a year since I've given a product a bad review on the market place and the creator still has me banned. I have a ton of their products and spent quiet a few lindens on their products. One bad review got me banned from their sim and products. Is there a way to avoid this abuse by creators and get unbanned? Review is an opinion correct? There's nothing in the terms of service that says "you are to always give good reviews about a product even if it's bad". O.o

LMFAO!! I'm not looking for a refund, it's sarcasm. My computer can handle 2 games open on Ultra. As of yesterday, SL is back to being stable. My point is, it's been nearly 13 years. It's about that time we see an upgrade. I know they're working on a new so called "Second Life" and so many SL members are not happy. Those people that are not happy are the reason why we don't see a future for SL. We need to evolve in technology. Believe me, SL has come a long way. Lag is not acceptable for 13 years. I've been in the MMORPG world nearly all my life since I can remember playing video games and I'm 39 years old. Main priority in an MMORPG is stability. Granted SL is not an MMORPG but the lag should be addressed. The reason why it's not because the engine is old. The whole structure is completely old and needs a rehaul. This is why they are working on something new which I believe will not be for a few years. Never believe the hype.

I have spent 12 years in second life and have only two avatars . I've spent literally thousands upon thousands of linden and a lot of RL money trying to enjoy this game/client/virtual world. 12 years of lag and items disappearing. 12 years of poor no upgrade to design or engine. 12 years of the same old thing that continues to recycle and recyle itself. When is it actually enough? I'm sick and tired of having to go through loops on a super power computer to reduce lag. I'm getting annoyed of losing items and having to go here, there and everywhere in order to retrieve them. Is it funny to buy a chair for 5,000 linden only to have it disappear in a matter of minutes from the SL monster? Do you have the energy, time and effort to go through a process of returning your items knowing the chances are slim? When is it enough? 12 years ago I told myself "wow, the possibilites that SL can become a real virtual reality game/client. When I look around, I still see the same old stuff with enhanced graphics from mesh users built but the same old lag. Should the game be called Second Life or Lag Life? I think it's about that time I hung my avatars to dry. Actually going on 13 years of SL and saying, it's finally over. You have failed me in every way. It's not about the beauty of games, it's about how they play. I've had enough of Second Life and I hope...I truly hope that there's a company, a man or a group out there that can stick it to Linden Labs and show them how to really make a virtual world and bring us in the future. I'm tired of hearing abou their new project that literally has no life in it. Probably rumors or hearsay. A new second life? It's a hoaks. The virtual world is officially dead. I'm tired of watching new movies today in black white. That's how second life feels. In closing argument, Linden Labs, you owe me thousands of lindens and hundreds of US dollars for my constant lost items and pain suffering of lag. You either have something new or you don't. Man up!

Hey everyone, I really need your help here. I've grown tired searching for homes in SL. I probably have a lot of homes in my inventory but not satisfy me to what I really need. Basically here is what I'm looking for. Land 6144Prims: 1406Master BedroomRegular roomroom big enough to hold photoLife studioA big play room for my dj booth, pole dance and body shot bara nice size living roombig bathroomswimming pool and Jacuzzi This is what I"m looking for in a home preferably modern. Not into white picket fences. I've looked at inverse and they seem to have some nice homes but, low ceilings are not working for me nor do they work too great in SL unless you're in first person view all the time. If you guys can suggest a few homes I would really appreciate your help. I'm stumped at the moment. :(

My now 12 year avatar was locked 8 years ago because of a dispute over $10 nobody knew about. They couldn't figure out all those years how to unlock my account until I spent months figuring it out with them on the phone. It all came down to $10 I didn't pay because my credit card expired. If the account is important to you because of age, then go for it. If not, you probably lost all your stuff and your avatar will be empty with just defaults. That's what happened to me, everything all gone.

I don't know what's worse for me. Losing actual items or pictures I've taken back in 2003 which SL wiped out completely over a $10 dispute they couldn't figure out. 6 years of good times gone and 6 more re-created.

I'm not sure how the women's works or other male mesh but Niramyth is as easy as replacing top body, lower body, hands, feet and hud. One click of my skin color and I'm normal. Took me about 2 hours but I'm back to normal now. Just wish SL would stop eating my stuff.

Thank you! Not sure why this would happen just standing around doing nothing. I tried the cache but nothing worked. It's just odd that the specific items that were removed from Niramyth folders were removed from my backup folders as well. I've gone ahead and started redoing the mesh and updating my outfits which is quiet the headache.

So I was standing around laughing and chit chatting with people until the Second Life monster came and gobbled up my Aesthetic Niramyth Enzo mesh parts and ran away laughing at me. I was then introduced with Red smoke (Firestorm) and White Smoke (LL Viewer). I've managed to get out of the smoke but my mesh parts are missing. Now to the scary part. I keep a backup of my mesh including the HUD with the correct color in case something like this happens to me. Unfortunately, all Enzo mesh products were removed from my inventory and God knows what else. Instead of doing a re-delivery and going through the process of re-coloring myself, is there a way to track down that mother F***** SL Monster, gut him and take back my mesh? This happened a few times in the last month which required me to purchase new tattoo's 3 times that were appliers. Note: Nothing in lost and found or trash that was related to my mesh.
