  1. Thank you both Ginette and Elfred. I understand the problem a lot better. I think Ginette makes the main point here which is prevention. Just like the way people are punished in society instead of having prevention and educate them, it seems the same upside down politics prevail on SL. Punish but don't do any prevention in RL it doesn't help society, on SL it is the same. Regular users of the sandbox are getting frustrated and the grieferd just get away with it. I agree on two things: the name should be changed back and the managers should be able to have land control to prevent this from happening. I guess it is now up to LL to reverse it's policies but, from what I read, it is a long shot. Thanks Attica for starting this thread.
  2. Ginette, please enlighten me. How does a name change cause griefing? I'm not sure I get the problem. However I agree with you that the managers should be able to manage. Why on earth are they there in the first place for then? Observe the damage? That make no sense to me. I don't get why LL would sabotage community work. Is it because it is not profitable?
  3. I am wondering myself if land control woudn't be a better option. One out two speed build events get griefed. We have to move almost every week to a different location which seems to me is inconvenient. Maybe it should, as someone suggested, be held on a land controlled location indeed. It doesn't seem like LL will do much to solve the issue.
  4. I am no getting "edit" in the options to the right. What are you talking about? I get "mark as news, subscribe, etc..." not "edit". So here is the copy from imprudence. 5. If I replace the "phoenix" with "secondlife" i get a search page, not instructions.
  6. The directions are confusing. I don't understand them. I can't log at all so how am I suppose to clear anything.
  7. I have given up using phoenix or firestorm. The only viewer i never have problems with is Imprudence wich i have to end up using each time i have problems with viewer 3. I can't use phoenix or firestorm anymore. They refuse to work.
  8. I have been trying to log on Phoenix, Firestorm and Viewer 3 for 3 days. I can only log on imprudence viewer. I keep getting crash issues. I sometimes log on but crash immediately on Viewer 3
  9. Ok, this is weird. When i started using Viewer 3, i could not access my clothes to wear anymore. However, If I buy new ones, it's not an issue. I don't have this problem at all if I use a different viewer. So why can't I access my clothes on viewer 3? The folders are there but the actual outfits are not there to be found. What gives???
