Nope. I created alts in each of the years I listed (original account was created in 2004) and was not asked for DOB for any of them. I did not use the same email address for all of them. The last one I created was in 2009 and once last names were removed, I lost any and all interest I may have had in creating a new one. I've only had to give LL my DOB once and that was when LL implemented the verification process after they killed the teen grid in 2010. Probably because I never signed up for the teen grid since it didn't exist until after I originally joined. I was in my early 30s in 2004. Nothing wrong with my memory.

When I first joined SL there was no place to enter a DOB. LL didn't ask for one in 2004, 2005, 2006, or 2007. The last alt I made was in 2009 and they didn't ask for DOB then either. Age "verification" didn't start until after the teen grid was shut down in 2010. ETA: I probably should mention that the alts I created didn't all use the same email addy.

It used to be G, PG, and M. When A was added PG went away. I always felt that was a mistake. They should have just added A and left the other three in place; G (ages 13 - 15), PG (16 - 17), M (18+) and A (21+). Why the 21+ on Adult? Because some young adults just aren't really ready to handle adult content at 18\19 and it would save LL and the residents a lot of headaches, and it is the legal age to enter bars/clubs for the US.

Think old military movie cliches. "Don't make me pull rank on you!" means, more or less, that person is making the threat to order you to do something you don't want to do. On a forum it doesn't have any real meaning other than maybe as threat to report you to whoever holds the administration rank rather than a mod. There are different levels to mods. It's just a threat to go over the heads of the mods.

This is why we moved from a city pushing 100k population to a town that had a population of less then 25k in 2017. I grew up in a place where the population never went over 50k even with an air force base right outside of town. I'll take a lesser populated town with lots of mom and pop shops over big city box stores any day. I don't think I need explain why.

That's wonderful for the two of you! The problem is most DJs have to pay rental for a stream and need those tips to cover that cost. RL SO is one that depends on tips to cover costs because we can't afford to pay for it out of pocket. If (and I do mean IF) our RL financial situation changes for the better then he wouldn't need to depend on tips so much for the stream and the other things he likes to do in SL. I wouldn't even be in SL these days if it weren't for being hired as a landscaper/rental manager because we simply can't afford to buy Ls for the things we like to do.

I've been in SL since 2004 and never bumped pixels so the answer is no, not everyone in SL is here for the sexual aspect of it. There are a lot of us that aren't here for sex. SL is not, never has been and never will be a "sexgame".
