  1. The dream will end with you waking up when you hit the floor after falling out of bed.
  2. I didn't have the heart to burst any bubbles. Thanks for letting them down easy.
  3. Daz has come a long way since the beginning. Nice work!
  4. Most demos are no copy/no mod in my experience so I make liberal use of those two filters to eliminate all demos and gachas.
  5. I'm not talking about multiple personalities. I'm trying to explain something that doesn't have any English words to describe unless you happen to speak Lakota? No? Didn't think so. Thanks for the insult to my intelligence.
  6. I do not like Giphy because half the time the images won't load on forums... besides... why not save the images to your HD and drag and drop them to your post from a folder?
  7. I lost complete interest for over 4 years and didn't even bother logging in. Nothing has really changed. Stores closed, new stores opened and that sort of thing yes, but, not the people. Right now the only thing that is keeping me logging in is 6 little projects I set for myself. I bought 2 inexpensive skyboxes and 1 house and I'm in the process of furnishing and remodeling them. What I am doing requires copy/mod on everything I use because I am linking everything. The goal here is to fully furnish and decorate while staying under the prim limits for a 512 (175) and a 1024 (351), so 2 versions of each. I'm getting close to finishing the first one so that leaves 5 to go. Why am I doing this? So that if, by some miracle, I can afford land again I won't have a lot of work to do. Just rez one out, place it where I want it and done*! When I'm done with those 6, I may buy another house and do it again so that I have two houses and two skyboxes and can change at a whim. Perhaps you could come up with some similar projects on your own. *Of course, the perfectionist in me is always tweaking things so I'm never really finished when it comes to creating a home.
  8. You do not understand what I am saying and I don't think you ever will. Other people talking about you has nothing to do with what I am trying to get people to see. You can not separate the self from the individual. It is not possible.
  9. I will retain control of my camera and everything else I already have control of in SL, thank you.
  10. Sorry but it is always true. You're not getting what I'm saying. I didn't say anyone was those things on any level. I said they are a part of you. A part of what makes you who you are. A part of the real you. Something you can not completely divorce yourself from. It's always there because it is you. Yes, you can immerse yourself and deeply to the point of almost removing yourself from reality. There is a point there where, if you go beyond it, you have crossed the line into an unhealthy state of mind. Most people have this little "voice" that tells them when they are getting too close to that line and are able to avoid crossing it. That "voice" is a part of you that you can never completely shut yourself away from. That "voice" is you.
  11. Who you wish to be is a part of you. Who you wish to be is part of who you are. If it weren't already a part of you, you wouldn't wish to be.
  12. That's how it usually goes. lol You can start poking Jessi any time as far as I'm concerned.
  13. @Kitty Barnett Will this be only in Catznip or will all TPVs have it at some point? Please note that I am not mentioning the clunker LL viewer.
  14. The answer is really quite simple. You can not separate you from you. https://www.locationrebel.com/the-online-world-is-the-real-world/ https://arstechnica.com/staff/2016/12/stop-pretending-theres-a-difference-between-online-and-real-life/ https://www.wired.com/2015/10/the-idea-that-online-life-isnt-real-is-trite-and-harmful/
  15. 🦇💩😵 I wouldn't mind there being a few basic smilies. Yes, I mean smilies, not emojis.
  16. You're both wrong. The SL vs RL debate has been raging since 2003/4.
  17. Ah so it looks and feels just like real life then.
  18. First they came for our modesty, Then they came for our privacy, Then they came for our freedom, Then there was no one left in Second Life.
