I found SecondLife through a friend who introduced it to me during a convention we were going to, I like the freedom of what the platform gives me to be anything I want. Most of the time I'm role-playing, writing stories with other people and enjoying interacting with others who enjoy the same things. Sometimes I explore the grid or go shopping, I like seeing what people make in SecondLife.

There is a serious lack of information for this. Is this only going to affect buying lindens? Do we need to agree to use this service or can we opt out and still buy lindens? If we don't have tillia are we unable to buy lindens? Why are we going to be charged for being inactive? If we can't afford to buy lindens then we can't afford to be charged, charging someone for being inactive is shady and not exactly fair. Why are you going in to using Tilia? What is wrong with the current system? The current system is perfectly fine as it is, its not broken so don't try to fix it.

What part of "From what I know" didn't you understand? Also personally I don't go to many events anymore, I don't even spend money at the ones I do go to. Rarely I might purchase one item where as years ago before all these events, I would purchase a large amount of items before leaving said event. Cutting down on events would be a good idea, perhaps mashing those with similar themes together and give creators a breather.

From what I know most people want Events to die out, they are not doing SL any good at all. In fact they are killing creativity and have over-saturated the market, less events would mean creators would be more likely to sell items.

I've heard that LL are going to phase out viewer 1's, I'm currently using Phoenix as its the best viewer out there. Simple, oldschool love it. Firestorm on the other hand I tried to use that even watched a tutortial on how to make it more like viewer 1, course the whole thing failed its still too viewer 2ish for me and I can't use it. I don't want all these fancy tabs, I don't want the constant mess of viewer 2 seems to be... All I want is a viewer that resembles the old viewer and is easy to use, without opening up browser windows for absolutely everything. Go back to viewer 1 already! If they do phase out viewer 1 where does that leave us who can't get our heads around the obnoxious layout and horrbile laggness of viewer 2? Out of the game? Safe to say for me I won't be able to play Secondlife anymore and I put a lot of money in to my SL, and a lot of people that feel the same as me they'll log out and never come back. Say byebye to the old schoolers, welcome to the new generation which isn't that big a population right now.

Cos we all want to reduce lag not increase it The more scripts you're wearing like titlers and RP tools, the more lag you are producing in that sim. Its why I love the idea of display names it frees me of needing an RP tool, but the restriction of once a week disallows me to change when I need to. Thank you I might try a JIRA

Personally all those items, scripts, inventory etc doesn't need to be updated to have your display name, if they left all items with just with the USER name it would be easier to find out who owns what. Specially if you got a griefer on a sim and they got a display name, because search doesn't find people by display name it finds them by user name. Sims don't ban people by display name they ban them by user name, so all that item, script updating is pointless a waste of resources and a waste of time. I want to be able to change my name more than once a week, screw the updating its holding me back!

Display names... Great, innotative, and pretty useful for roleplayers as it saves them using an RP tool, because they can change their display name. Wait there's an issue there and the only one I can think of, you can only change your display name once a week. Why only once a week? An active roleplayer has more than one character and this requires an often change in display name, depending on what character they are using and for how long. This once a week restriction prevents a regular change, so if someone uses a character once changes display name and then goes back to their main character... They have to wait a week a whole entire week, to be able to change that name again and in the meantime have to rely on lag inducing roleplay tools. For instance my main two characters are called Blueray Darkes and Ara Luiniel, but I have the name Ara in brackets (looks like this Blueray 'Ara' Darkes) so I don't have to keep changing my name. However I changed to a completely different character, and now I have to wait an entire week in order to either use that character again or put in the middle name. Why not once a day? Or even twice a week? Every three days? Meh why do I even bother asking its not like Linden Labs will ever listen

I can not attach items to my avatar, the only words highlighted are Properities, Copy, Delete and Restore to last point. Any ideas how to fix this?
