  1. Yes, I was afraid of that. My version (the newest one) does not include the plug-in. I've looked for one for a few days without luck. any change you know where one is or can email it to me?
  2. I have been working with Wing3D for a bit and created a simple sculpt. Looking at the export list, there is no TGA file that is exported. Hope can I get this sculpt into Second Life? Julie
  3. I apologise if this is the wrong forum. I have a sculpt map image inside the object tab that I would like to hide. I have seen others do it but not sure how. Its is basically so that no can take a picture of the map and upload it as there own. Anyone have any ideas? Julie
  4. Hi chic, thanks for all your help. I used to build animation about 5 years ago and somewhere between then and now, my PC crashed and I lost the software. What I found was the beta version. I've never heard of Avastar (for SL), so I'm going to check that out today and see if the old version of QAvimator is still available. Regards, Julie
  5. ok, Maya was right "All involved joints need to have a minimum movement to them to be included, otherwise the uploader cleans up the animation and drops the least rotating joints ", one I made some minor adjustments to the knees and shins the seating corrected itself. thank-you, thank-you thank-you!
  6. Hi and thanks for all your reply's. RL sort of got in the way but now I'm back. I tried the default stand option as Chic advised and my avatar still did not sit as per my QAvimator. I've included a picture of my QAvimator and I'm using Beta Version 0.1.5.1 (645) if that makes a difference? As you can see my upload picture, I am using the default stand option and when I did upload it, my avatar is standing, not sitting. I'm also using firestorm-releasex64 6.3.2.58052 if that makes a difference. Any and all help to resolve this would really be appreciated? Julie
  7. yes, I get a sitting animation. How do I get the animation where my legs are layed out in front of me and not a sitting position?
  8. I've built an animation that is basically a person rowing/paddling a canoe. I have the avatar sitting with his legs out in front (see picture) but when I upload him, I only have the choice of standing, flying, sitting or walking? How can I upload this animation into the position I want him to be? JulieAnne
  9. ok, figured it out, its just a bracket missing... your awesome.. I tested it out and it works great. thank you so much. I must have been having a blondie moment and typed before I looked. Thanks again.

  12. So have this script that works great for a rope climb but I want to make it group only... I know it has something to do with this.. if ( llSameGroup( llDetectedKey(0) ) ) but I'm not sure where it fits in the script, can someone give me a kick in the pants and get me going? ------------------------------------------------------------ float LADDERHEIGHT= 6.0; // how far to move up float STEPHEIGHT = 0.25; // how far to move each step float OFFSET = 0; // tilt float Extra = -2; // extra move onto the roof climbup() { llSetAlpha(0,ALL_SIDES); llStopAnimation("sit"); llStartAnimation(llGetInventoryName(INVENTORY_ANIMATION,0)); integer i; vector original; float steps = LADDERHEIGHT / STEPHEIGHT; float offset = OFFSET / steps; // to one side original = llGetPos(); do { i++; vector newPos = llGetPos() + <offset,0, STEPHEIGHT> * llGetRot(); llSetPos(newPos); } while(i <= (steps)); llSetPos(llGetPos() + <Extra, 0, 0> * llGetRot()); // extra, then unsit llStopAnimation(llGetInventoryName(INVENTORY_ANIMATION,0)); if(llAvatarOnSitTarget() != NULL_KEY) { // somebody is sitting on me llUnSit(llAvatarOnSitTarget()); // unsit him or her } llSetRegionPos(original); llSetAlpha(1,ALL_SIDES); } // end climbup default { state_entry() { llSitTarget(<0.50, 0.0, 0.1>, ZERO_ROTATION); } changed(integer change) { if(change == CHANGED_LINK) { key avatar = llAvatarOnSitTarget(); if(avatar != NULL_KEY) { llRequestPermissions(avatar,PERMISSION_TRIGGER_ANIMATION); climbup(); } } } //end changed } //end default
  13. I think I figured out how to make a tattoo using the free software gimp... But from the video I'm watching he guy talks about a "simple tattoo applier" ? Do you know where I can get one of those? something about copying the UUID into it...
  14. Thanks, I do t mind investing in photoshop but there are a lot of options in photoshop cs6 cs7 whatever they are? What program do you use?
  15. I have been looking the last couple of days for a step by step tutorial of how to make a tattoo in SL. Everything I've seen so far is out of date, photoshop 7.0.1 does not load onto windows 10 as a legacy program or the gimp program I have does not save in targa file format. I'm at a loss as to where to start. I'd buy a program if I knew exactly what program to buy and someone had a step by step tutorial that I could follow so I'm not wasting my time anymore. Not sure I need an applier since my skin is not mesh. Can anyone help me please?
  16. Hi Guys, I am hoping someone can help me, point me in the right direction, and even have one of these. I am looking for/make a script that scans an area to try and detect an object with a script inside, with a specific name of the script. Also, I would like the HUD to tell me how far away it is. As an example, If I made a prim and loaded the script "shoot" into it. I would like a HUD that would scan a large area and tell me how far away the prim with the script "shoot" in it, would be. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks JulieAnne
  17. That's actually a very good idea Ishy. I guess I was a bit naive to thing it wasn't software dependent. I will have to look for software that has a 3d paint option. Does anyone know of a good/easy program to learn on? JulieAnne
