Usually to buy hair you click on the box that shows the hair color you want. There will be a big picture of the hair style and then the colors usually arranged below it...click on one of those and you should see a buy or pay option

You make classifieds in you profile. There is a tab for them. I am not inworld but if memory serves you just opt to creat new ad. Put in the picture you wish. Write your text. Stand in location you want the teleport to be set to and set that as location. When you click publish you can set to the minimum of 50L or to the amount you prefer. There is also an option to renew every week, leave blank if you want for just one week otherwise make sure it is checked.

If you are using the LL viewer there is a basic mod and an advanced..the basic hides most options

I would try deleting and then reinstalling fresh. Maybe just a glitch in a file.

The whole profile thing is a mess. I don't know anyone who wants to go to the web to see profile details and most people I know do not want their profiles appearing on the web, so block the content. Like so many other not so good ideas, likely the brain child of someone who has spent little to no time inworld. So, if you are looking for a shop, cross your fingers that search is working, type the name of shop and see if get lucky there

Well personally I will not buy clothing that is not mod or just has resizer. There are so many clothes to choose from that are mod see no need to mod my avatar just to fit a particular outfit. I think the only thing I miss by avoiding no mod or resize is clothes that would fit badly so not missing anything...just imo

If you want things immediately it is better to shop in world. Delivery of marketplace items can be 1 minute or 8 hours

You could make an alt to own the marketplace and magic box...an alt you could both share. But the storefront is held by one avatar

If you buy only modifiable clothing you can sort of "resize" each of the prim parts to fit your avie...a resize script is not much help, it will make it bigger or littler overall but it won't make it "fit" your body. But, to do this you will need to invest in bit of learning...take all the free building classes you can find in Search/Events/Education. It does not matter what you learn to build; the principles of building with prims and sculpts are the same no matter if you are building a house, a magic wand or making things like clothes, hair or jewelry fit your avatar. This is really a suggestion for all those new to SL...even if you have a average sized avie, everyone is shaped differently. Very little will fit everyone right out of the box and for a polished avatar things should fit perfectly. Good luck! PS the classes are also a good way to meet others!

I have found nothing in subscription notices to hinder my performance at all. One note on suscribo groups vs regular listed groups...the subscribomatic group is often used by merchants just for release notices; many only offer the group gifts and special discounts only to what is often called the VIP group... the group that takes up a slot. But with the LL viewer or Phoenix we now have 42 groups making room for more favorites than the old 20 limit.

I think the point is that SL is a unique experience for everyone and a big enough world for you to do what you like and for others to do the same. What is childish for you is exciting for another. My SL is just running a shop; I don't "play" or socialize at all unless it has to do with my business, for some that would be boring but not to me. Everyone of us gets to choose for ourselves and need to allow others to do the same. The world is full of diversity and that makes it a rich and wonderful place...even those places and people that do not fit in with my own personal values.. Take what you like, and leave the rest : )

If your property is set to a "group" you need to wear that group tag to build unless you set land to all residents can build...but that would leave you wide open to griefers so not recommended

You can stop as long as you sell or abandon the land prior to the next tier cycle If you are a premium member you can get a 512 plot of "Mainland," the LL owned property, tier free You might also want to check out estate land, property not owned by LL but by resident owners like Dreamland or the host of other smaller property managers -- often you can get the land for free and just pay tier to the owner

"Recent" inventory just shows those items you have collected since you logged in. To see all your inventory click on the all items tab and you will find everything you own.

I recieved that notice and have been in SL since 06. so guess just random vs by age. What I did not see was a way to opt out. I do not want to get spammed with ads, I already have my im's going to email so customers can reach me that is enough to wade through

I am not crazy about the SL viewer but many love it. On group chat, it works most of the time for me...like all things in SL: I mostly don't crash but sometimes do. Most transactions go through but some don't. Sometimes I can find what I want in search and sometimes not...the list is endless. Everything in our world is partially broken. Not sure fixing group chat would be high on my priority list for things needing immediate repair but that is just imo

Some things to try - Have you rebaked? ctrl-alt-R - not seeing any pics...is there really an issue or is it SL...do your wrists look different than other avies? Or, could you just now be noticing that all avatars in SL have the ugliest joints ever? - try another shape...does it look the same? If wearing a new shape and have same problems then it could be the skin or your graphics. Change skin and visit your graphics settings - if it is truly the shape and it has been corrupted, write down all your numbers and try creating a new one -- Have you tried another viewer...same issues?

Do all the things that Peewee mentioned but additionally since this seems to be ongoing issue I would detach everything on my body as well. If you doing all these things does not resolve I would try deinstalling viewers and then downloading again for a clean start

Since you are a vamp, have you tried any of the vamp groups? I know you said you are not a joiner but a common interest will go a long way to creating a bridge with others. SL really is a 2nd life and just like in RL, not much is going to happen if you just stand in one spot hoping things will fall in your lap Other suggestions: Get a job where you can meet people while working Take classes which you will find in Events/Education Hire a dating service

Not trying to point out the obvious but...did you install the Mac version ? It could also be some bad files. Try uninstalling your viewer completely, then download fresh so get a clean start

You cannot get rid of the Linden house but you could as a premium member I think buy a 512 plot without paying tier. If you do that you can put anything on it you want up to the prim allotment

if you already have an animation over ride/AO for walking you can add standing poses to it. Or you can buy a prebuilt AO. I like choosing my own poses to reflect my personality but then it requires you to do some work vs buying somethingyou can just unbox and wear. Some standing poses are automated and some are static (do not move) I have 4 stands loaded in my ao, one moves alot, one a little and 2 not at all. I have them alternated in the AO so that I move when standing still but not so much that I seem twitchy or restless lol. If you need poses I like Real Expression and Vista. There are others too if you im me in game would be happy to pass you some landmarks Greenlife became Emerald and Emerald became Phoenix...I love the Phoenix viewer. Kristens is also ok. I detest the SL viewer but everyone likes something different.

do you know the name of the item and have you typed that in your inventory search? If it was boxed it would be in your objects folder if it came in folder should see as a folder under inventory. if yes and it is not there try clearing your cache...go to edit preference the network tab, then push the clear cache button. Log out of SL. Reboot. And then come back and see if it has appeared. if you cannot find it and you have cleared cache then send a note to the creator with a copy of your transaction pasted on it with a brief description of issue and your name.
