  1. I was contacted by a group owner about my spamming group chat. I never use group chat. I appears that when i send out a group notice, it is showing that text in group chat as well. Any idea why this is happening? I do not have this issue in other posting groups.
  2. Now my RL partner is getting the urge for one of the new Linden homes. 🤣
  3. My new home lot. Moved in this week and working on filling it with some things I have made.
  4. 🥰 Enjoying a quiet moment at my new Linden home in Fofita. Almost time to get back to work. Those home add-ons refuse to make themselves. 🥰
  5. Hooray!! I finally got my house! It is in Fofita. I have begun working on add-ons, and chose to start with the Adams Home.
  6. This could be why I am finding the Linden Home search so difficult...
  7. You are too kind! I think i will wait until I have my own spot so that i will have whatever time I need to build, but you are so awesome for offering!! *big hugs*
  8. Thank you for the advice. Although I do not use chrome, I did find an auto-reloader for the browser I do use. Much Love and thanks again.
  9. I am finding it difficult to do my work in SL AND play the lottery of obtaining the new Linden homes. Any hints on times of day, or strategies I should use?🤔
  10. I remember you! *hugs* Send me a notecard and once i have access to one of those houses, it will be done. xoxo
  11. I am really looking forward to getting one of the new Linden homes. I want to start making add-ons for other residents. 🥰
  12. I have a huge lack of faith in them dong this properly. I have new holiday related products i need to finish entering now that were already sitting in my unassociated list before this mess happened. Will this require a roll back that will negatively impact the seasonal listing I entered today? They are absolute rubbish at advising us of the fix strategy BEFORE they inflict it upon us. I was one day away from catching up on all my listings. I am not taking this very well at all. The timing could not be worse. I know I am merely venting at this point, but dang it LL... why do this crap just before you go on holiday?
  13. Same here several hundred items are now unassociated. WTF. the support link given above only allows you to report account issues not MP issues.
  14. I had hundreds of items changed to unassociated today/last night. These items have been in MP for years and had migrated just fine. What the heck is going on? this will take me weeks to reenter all these items.
  15. We often find the review process a great way gauge the success of an item AND to understand the customers' perception of my marketing presentation. We create marketing images for a few businesses and have used merchant and customer input to better design them for emphasizing the data which has been misunderstood in the past. Relying on "small font" data in a listing alone does not seems to work as well as also incorporating it in the images and in the features section of the listing. I always offer a full refund for any unhappy customers, without regard to the validity of their claims. (Many times I send the Lindens with a message of hope that they will return one day and find something else more to their liking, or at least walk away from this transaction with a positive impression) Marketing in RL teaches us that a truly angry/sad customer is heard by at least 10 times more people than a happy one. Reply to the erroneous reviews gently and without anger. EXAMPLE: "I am so sorry that you misunderstood the listing. Please note that the ad did clearly state this product was for XXXXX bodies only, but we understand how you could have missed that information in the excitement of shopping. We are limited to the Marketplace format and have no power over making certain information appear in larger typefaces or bolder print. Please read listing more carefully in the future to keep your shopping experiences happy ones, and we will do all we can to help. You are important to us." Namaste
  16. Second Life / LL is a business first. This is an important fact in this discussion. Linden Labs will or will not do things based on profitability. The changes in policy for the sale and/or display of the confederate flag has, thus far, been done at business levels. If LL decides it is in their best interest to remove the confederate flag for SL, they will do so. Period. No discussion needed. Many assume these decisions are based on social consciousness, but I believe they are profit driven. Less people shopping, less money. If 1st Life has taught me anything, it has taught me that business responds to what matters, money. My opinion on this? I think that if a symbol from the past represents victimizing a group of people, it should not be glorified. I do not expect others to live by my rules and values, but I do expect others to try to be decent to each other. Many times an old symbol, that represents pain to many, needs only to go into a museum to remind us of our folly not on display to be honoured.
  17. I honestly doubt they would do that even if they could. (roll back & then roll forward)
  18. Yes I agree. You can not roll back just a parcel. I hope that you are not being too harrassed over this by your tenant.
  19. I got this notecard today.... Clearly I submitted a ticket. I can not add any new marketplace entires until this is sorted out. I contacted live chat on the off chance they could at least let me know when i would get a response. no luck... June 20th LL may delete over 1000 of my listings ( none are older than 2013 ) You may have this issue too.. if you have over 5k listings. the notecard reads: (since this is not a cut and paste of am IM) The Second Life Marketplace has launched a new feature into Beta called Viewer-Managed Marketplace (VMM). The move to VMM will involve an automatic migration of all Merchant store inventory to the Merchant’s main inventory, and this will begin no earlier than June 20, 2015. VMM will allow you to easily manage your inventory on the Second Life Marketplace using the Second Life Viewer. For more information on VMM, see the blog post: https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Commerce/Viewer-Managed-Marketplace-Beta-Launch/ba-p/2926002. Due to the large size of your store, we encourage you to please review your current listings and remove any that are stale or out of date. Our goal is to get your store down to a maximum of 5,000 listings. If you are unable to bring your listings down below that level, we may need to perform a clean-up of your store before it is migrated. If we perform a clean-up, we will remove any unlisted listings from your store and return that inventory to your Received Items folder inworld. If you still have more than 5,000 listings in your store, we will then remove any listings that have not had a sale within the past year and return those inventory items to your Received Items folder. Additionally, we will return a report to you, at your request, with all the applicable details on your listing (name, description, price, etc.) We are letting you know ahead of time about this plan so that you may delete listings manually to 5,000 or less before June 20, 2015, when we will begin clearing out the unlisted and not-recently-purchased items in your store. If you have any problems deleting your listings, go ahead and unlist them, and we'll delete them as part of the migration process (and return the inventory to your Received Items folder). Thank you for your support of the Second Life Marketplace. Let us know if you have any questions or feedback by filing a support case (https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/) and choosing Marketplace Item Listing Issues. The Commerce Team Update 5/30 - Did see a response on this ticket about the 5k limit. the ticket has been forwarded to another department.
  20. You will not be alone in this problem. Many merchants have little to no RL experience in manufacturing or retail inventory control, thus unprepared for a change like this. I wish you much success and ease in this transition. Namaste
  21. I would like to know if we will be advised in advance of our automated migrations. I enter in MP nearly everyday and have over 5500 listings. I really need to know what day it happens so I can be prepared. It would not be feasible for me to manually migrate this many products, thus I would like the opportunity to coordinate with LL on this. :matte-motes-big-grin-squint:
  22. I have been watching the forums for this issues, but have not seen it mentioned. Has anyone else noticed the issues with pages loading for the Second Life webpage and in entering data for new marketplace products? I have to reload each screen at least twice. This has been happening for at least 2 weeks. I have many products needed to be aded to marketplace and I just can not get it done when each entry takes 5-10 minutes of just trying to get pages to load.
  23. I do not envy your situations. Difficult choices often appear when dealing with an unsatisfied customer, but the choices can be simplified with a set of firm guidelines for the merchant and the customer. Always meet the quality standard implied by your product marketing images Always assume the customer has a valid complaint and is truthful, until you know otherwise Always be consistant in your TOS and actions Always be very clear in all marketing as if you are targeting a first time buyer Always remember a good customer service story reaches TEN ears, a bad story will be shared by ONE HUNDRED
