    LL borked inworld SEARCH now too?

    For over five years I have been the top searched Wedding Rings sim in SL Search. I log into today

    and do a Search.  My sim is not even found?

     

    JCNY Collection main sim no where to be found... my original 4032

    parcel shows up but not my full sim. 

     

    Anyone know why? None of my land settings have changed and the

    Show in Listings box is checked. 

    to show up in Shopping.

     

    Crazy grid today.

    Thanks for testing with me.

    I undertsand those searches you did. I've done them myself. - Thanks! I will also try editing my keywords as you suggested.

    This is what I am referring to : 

    Load main page: Click on Avatar Accessories then click Jewelry & Watches and then click Rings.

    For 10 years we were listed in the first ten pages of Relevancy. Now I don't see JCNY on the first or second pages

    of Relevant in association with Rings Catagory.

    Again as the builder of the best selling wedding rings of all time in Second Life. JCNY rings are not showing up as relevant today either.  The Athena ring was the all time top seller on the MP for years. 

     

    Today in Relevance I no longer see JCNY rings. --- BUT ... if you TAB over to Best Selling JCNY rings show up all over.

    Same for Highest Ranked. I find it very odd that the rings are not relevant but Best Sellers. 

     

    Something in the system is flawed. 

     

    IN SL over 10 years and counting and I have never seen anything like this. I called LL with no help regarding MP issues.

    ****** I also filed a ticket which was tossed to the side and I was told to make sure I used correct keywords. lol.

    I know how to list.

     

    Damn shame what is happening to me and the rest of you. :catsad:

    New Marketplace Search Relevance

    Just tried to talk to someone at LL. The conversation just went no where. She said file a ticket.:manmad:

    If I file a ticket I will be told there will be nothing done. I know that. So why file a ticket?

    I knew once this new search was implemented that it would not change back. Even if it effects thousands of creators in Second Life. The issue with this is this... if people all of a sudden make half of what they made before they may look for other platforms to move to to earn an income. 

    Just imagine if LL employees came to work one day an Ebbe Altberg said, "sorry guys starting Monday everyone is going to make half of what you made before." 

    I can imagine that would not go over well and there would be a united force to make a change somwhere
    for the benefit of the employees. Or maybe not. Some people would just leave the company. 

    I dont see how making less L$ income on the MP would help LL. This new system is actually going to cost
    LL as well if our incomes go down as well.

    AS AN OVER 10 YEAR SL VETERAN and Top Merchant.... I have had the best selling 1st Page listed Athena Wedding ring set in Second Life for many years. As well as my rings still remain in the first, second and third page of best seller listings...

    NOW. -- As of the new Marketplace rollout I have been all but wiped out of Relevance. But remain a best seller. 

    Something is BROKEN and not working right. - Also like many of you ever since the new MP Search my Marketplace Sales have gone to almost 0.

    Somthing has to be changed quick LL. Many of us rely on SL sales for RL income.

    Zbrush help needed. - Any Experts?

    HI everyone.

    I am working in Zbrush and I think I am at my wits end.

    Everytime I go to ALPHA / Make 3D and set a resoultion for my alpha

    the resulting 3D model polgon count is way too high. I did turn down the resoultion 

    but then it makes the 3d model look all grainy.

     

    So I can make a nice smooth model if I turn up the resolution to like 300 or above

    but it makes a 40k polgon model. Second Life says it exceeds the 65k limit.

     

    Uggggg. Any help out there?

    Haha. Yes. I love reading your comments on this app.

    After all this is where the most important views are from. The daily users.

    With that said, it's really nice that they are trying to help SL make the transition to

    tablets and mobile media devices. Even better would be a move to Chromecast,

    Roku box, Amazon Fire box, Media TVs, and others. For SL to survive this next

    technology shift this is a good thing. Plus, in the end; as SL knows; it might bring

    more users and potential customers to the grid. Onlive has great advertising and

    graphics. They have been most def doing their homework and looking forward

    into this tech shift. Now if they can just get the full version of photoshop to work

    on iOS. I would be laptop, desktop free. Well, except for my mesh modeling of

    JCNY products! Gotta love new tech.

    Introducing SL Go from OnLive

    Well, hmm. I saw this original post on March 5th with the rest of you. 

    As a long time SL user since 2006; I have to say I knew this pricing would not fly

    with most of you. I knew it was only a matter of time before they changed their pricing.

    While the idea of a reoccuring hourly charge is a great potential for income it might be

    a bit of over zealous creationist ideal. No doubt is it a great tool for those of us in cafes

    and on the road. However, that price will not fly. Glad to see the price has now come

    down to earth at an unlimited plan at $9.95 a month. Which is much more do-able.

    I think it's a great thing what they have done, just hope they can get past the shock

    that everyone saw when they realized it was $2 per hour! 

     

    What are your opinions on SL® GO? Have you tried it yet?

    So I have been in Second Life since 2006. I have seen many things come and go.

    SL Maketplace is now offering banner campaigns to vendors in Second Life. I got the email as many of you

    might have. I filled out the APP and sent it in with my request to do a month campaign just for a test

    and trial run. The amounts they listed were $4 per 1000 impressions. What I failed to read is the minimum $1,000

    USD per month cost. Ouch!

     

    Now back in the days of SL Exchange. They had a banner advertisment plans right on their site. You could purchase with L$ or with USD for banners and impressions. I used to buy them a lot. Most vendors did.

     

    I dont think I will be dropping $1000 USD on a campaign and Im not even sure it will bring in that much more of a monthly profit. It would probably be quite a loss at the end of the month.

     

    Doesnt sound like a very good business investment. I think they need to come down on the minimum.

    Just my two cents.

    Why am I not able to delete items on the MarketPlace?

    Well someone from the Commerce team last year had me drop a 2nd MagicBox saying that it would cover any missing deliverys. Well as you know it creates double the UNNASSOCIATED ITEMS in my box. Some duplicates in there. But the problem is with this bug that it wont let me upload a new item.  Says I have over 100 Unassociated items. But I cant delete barely any of them.

     

    I deleted one MagicBox hoping that would help. I refreshed the page in the MP and synced with magicBox. No amount of unnassociated objects changed. The number stayed the same.

     

    I have a new release slated for today and I cant even upload to the MP.

    So much for Direct delivery being the God saving of the SL-MP.

     

    jeez.

    Charged 3x in 2 Days for Same Enhancements

    In the past few weeks. I have been astounded by the numbers of listings that I have been refunded for. It really messes up my daily idea of sales when I'm seeing refunds for over 20+ enhanced $999/ $599/$2899 items. I'm just happy someone is refunding me becuase its ALOT of L$~!!!


    Maybe they will figure out what the deal is.

    Its really not cool.

    Does anyone know if they have the issue with No Copy items worked out yet?

     

    DD does not support no copy products and there are more than a million listings that have NO COPY

    them~!!!

     

    Hope they dont delete the Magic Boxes until they get that straight!!!

    MAJOR Marketplace Issues with Delivery and Payment

    I also updated my majoc box to the newest version.

     BORKAPOLOOZA...

    Heres the scoop. I got a friend to do a item delivery test tonight.

    He paid for the item. Waited and it was delivered to him. He passed it to me to confirm he got it.
    I get NO EMAIL and NO L$. Now looking in my SL Marketplace Account I see this... Proof of Sale

     

    • Number of items in order: 1
    • Number of items from your store: 1
    • Total charged by your store: L$2,499
    • Total received by your store before fees: L$0
    • Customer: Clif Sharktooth

     

    Funny that Clif got the item inworld and I get NO L$ ~!!!

    COMMERCE TEAM PLEASE HELP AND FIX!!!!!

    MAJOR Marketplace Issues with Delivery and Payment

    MAJOR MARKETPLACE :: DELIVERY ISSUES + Payments Not showing up in SL Account (~!~)

    Oh Boy... what a mess.

    Today Im having major issues on the Marketplace with my sales not getting delivered
    to clients and my sales not showing up in my secondlife.com transaction history account.

    But I have a history of all the sales.

    My magic box is online and I did a test delivery. It sent me the merch. Works Fine!!!

    SL Marketplace Account ::: Looking in my Merchant Account / Transaction History

    My SL marketplace account shows about half of todays sales were Partially Delivered
    or Being Delivered.

    When I click onView Order it shows the info and Undelivered. And for Action: it says
    Not Available for Re-Delivery.

    I have no idea what the Marketplace team is doing today but something has
    gone really wrong.
