Since Saturday i have an issue with texture rendering in game. All textures lose sharpness, and in some extreme cases, especially with shades of dark brown there are reddish spots on them. Case in point, a texture i'm working on: On my HDD, as a TGA file: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/580/captureps.png/ In Second Life: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/845/captureslr.png/ It's more acute where the brown area meets the white-ish area, that's where it's the clearest. This seems to be happening to all the textures around me since Saturday. I tried clearing caches, both manually and using the viewer options. This seems to happen both in the Phoenix Viewer (latest stable), as well as in the latest SL viewer. Also tried turning the HTTP Get Textures on/off, with no results. This happens on all the sims i go to, so it's not a region specific thing. I also tried various sizes of texture memory, bandwidth, various graphics settings. Oddly, in other games that use OpenGL i don't have this issue. Actually, i don't have this issue in any other games period. Also, i get no graphical glitches or slowdowns in day to day operations, even when using 3D modelling software. My video drivers are up to date, I even did a full OS reinstall, with no success. My video card is not high end, but is well above SL requirements, and it worked fine until a few days ago. I would appreciate any suggestions, as this is a pretty big game killer for me. --FOLLOW UP-- Solved by fully reinstalling OS. No idea what caused the original problem, but now it's gone. It's not the resolution of what i upload, i doubt that's the problem, as the same thing that worked before Saturday didn't work after that. But yes, i always use powers of 2 in resolution. (256, 512, etc) As to the AA, it may be a possibility, but since i wiped my system, i can't say what it was anymore. I think we can lay this one to rest. Thanks for the answers
