  1. We aren't actually married or partnered in SL so no need to divorce. We've been bf in rl for the same length of time and I just feel he ought to know if it's not me. If someone looked like my avatar and changed the name appearing on screen I suppose he could be fooled. He isn't the brightest when it comes to women and being fooled. LOL
  2. It appears that someone has been pretending to be me and having sex with my boyfriend. I've changed my password but I'm pretty miffed that someone would do this,. I'm even more miffed that my boyfriend of ten years didn't know it wasn't me!
  3. I have made cute convincing realistic girl children but boys are a real problem. Using the female shape works up to a point but then it has a waistline I can't get rid of. Using love handles just doesn't do it, and there seems to be always the problem of sticking out shoulder blades like wings. I haven't been able to find a way round that. Any suggestions?
  4. I use a simple vendor using the vendor lsl script and now suddenly it doesn't work but gives an error message saying PaymentBlockedButtonMismatch. There are no buttons on the vendor, everything is the same price, you just click and choose Pay. Now you can't any more so no one can use the vendor. What can I do ?
  5. An inspiring story indeed. Being alone and pretty much housebound myself through illness I have found Second Life to be a godsend in allowing me to enjoy dancing again and the attempt to sing again too, though that has been less straightforward. I can also create without the physical problems that usually accompany it. I found new friends and even a "special friend" I would never have met any other way. I regularly meet others in similar situations worldwide and even on Christmas Day I can reach out to others who would otherwise be totally alone.
  6. Yes, when only three weeks into Second Life I met a man who made me laugh, cry, and many other things. A little over four years later we still laugh together and, thankfully, cry less. He's the love of my Second Life and a good friend in RL too now. And, as we live in different countries, without SL we would never have met. I will always be grateful. Janeel Kharg.
  7. I've had my profile and First LIfe photo favourably commented on, which is always pleasing, and many thanks from people I mentored, but the comments that I've appreciated most have concerned my builds in SL. Comments such as: "Your sim made my day thank you for that." or "Thank you for your efforts to make discworld come alive in second life." or "i have just discovwered your Ankh-Morpork....it's amaaaazing.... i just loved your sim so much and the fact you have worked so hard" and "Thank you so much for make this place! Its fun and realistic (as much as discworld CAN be) The different references are just hysterical!". Comments like these make the work worthwhile, even if I get little financial support. I enjoyed doing the work of course, but knowing others appreciate it is very heartening. Janeel Kharg.
