This is going to be a really silly question to you guys, but Im new with this mesh-thingy and I am not english (yep thats my story and Im gonna stick to it) But... the reason that LL wants our credic info on file to be able to upload mesh, is not because I would have to be premium and pay them each month, its more a better safe than not - right? I finally got the answer how to remove that error.. It took just over a month with constant contact with support to finally fix my *Failed to find in database error* Therefor I am going to share it as I know there is several that has same problem aswell. The problem is hidden in your lost and found folder, if you have some coalesced objects, see the picture --> Support told me this; In your lost and found folder, you have coalesced objects. Please rez them and pick them up one at a time. After you do that, if you are still having issues, please do a complete clean uninstall. You need to keep your lost and found folder clean of these objects all the time.. I had a new one in mine that gave me the error back again cause my partner returned a house with items to me the other day, which was not linked and powww I had database error back.. *whispers...Me aint as big as a house.... yet... *shakes her head and gigglesss.. .. But how a house should effect my skin, puzzels me, but anyway... it works and that is what matters... so try it... I do hope this works for you aswell... (((I did also the uninstall they told me about, but I dont think its nessasary.. clear catche and restart ought to be enough..)) Carina and I, two designer's have spend A LOT of time on this issue.. as we both had it and it unfortunally continued a while after we did the coalesced objects.. (it worked okay with the coalesced objects for a few days and then the problems came back..) :/ Anyway.. we finally did find the answer... If you have more viewers downloaded to your computer, then their bridges dont 'agree/talk' (sorry am not english) so you need to remove the viewer(s) you do not use... My own computer crashed a while after we found all this out, but it worked good with one viewer, before it crashed and it crashed for a whole other reason that had nothing to do with SL at all.. So I was bold and tried to download 3 viewers.. and so far it works okay (none of those 3 are sl own viewer. it was last time).. so maybe its enough to remove the viewers, do a cleanup on the computer (diskclean or what is the english name?) and then either go with the safe way, to only use one viewer.. or give it a try to download other viewers.. But.. the issue is multiple viewers that dont 'talk' to each other and creates this issue... we are very sure of this, as we have put a lot of time into finding out.. its no use being designer and not being able to design.. So we did what I personally think LL should have done... *sit down in my corner and waits paitently for my payment check and giggless.. I hope it can help someone else aswell.. and that is why I am posting this.. Carina.. ty gorgeous for your input and role in this and for putting up with me... Ohh I feel for you.. I been there, well.. I AM there and been for a month now.. I am Designer so its a really big problem for me, it kinda takes away the reason Im here (thankfully I also got an amazing partner of 5 yrs, that keeps me here lol) At first it was the things I made myself that gave the database popup, but over time its here, there and everywhere in my inventory... it seemed fine for a couple days then bamm it comes back.. I did make a ticket.. I used: Type: Inventory (un-rezzed) Issues I supported it a month ago, and had contact ongoing since then.. its gotta be some issue they got on their side because I have heard of others having it aswell... Anyhow.. I was told to clear catche, log into a quiet region, while they ran a background... whatever... - Didnt work then they ran a script.. made me log into their viewer, clear catche and relog.. - Didnt work Then they was making a in-depth review (which i got no clue what is since im not english) but.. it - Didnt work Then I should clear catche, using their viewer, relog into a quiet region... - Didnt work Last thing they wrote to me was this: Thank you for letting me know. I am very sorry that this did not help you. Unfortunately, there are only so many things that we can do for inventory. One last thing that I would like to have you do is to go to Unpackistan. I have given you temporary permissions to go there. In your lost and found folder, you have coalesced objects. Please rez them and pick them up one at a time. After you do that, if you are still having issues, please do a complete clean uninstall. - Didnt work not even the uninstall... Its been a month like this.. I was thinking of you cause I know how long it takes to make a custom skin, and how much work it actually is.. If you still got it then consider putting it up for sale inworld.. As I said before I can find room for it in my shop if you need the space.. Most ppl have their Photoshop program located in their C drive.. So try to look in C Drive -> programs (86) -> Adobe -> Photoshop -> Present (or something like it, mine is danish so I dont know the english word) there you find a folder called called -> Patterns where all your .pat files are located and you can load the new ones into there.. then restart your photoshop and you can find them in photoshop, where can load them in there.. Open your computer and up in right top corner, is serch... type in .pat (remember the dot before pat) or whatever you serch for, and the computer will find anything that has the word .pat in it... then click one of the .pat files and choose open location. then you should be in the folder where you put the new ones you got.. lol If your inworld now, just have a look and send me a offline msg... then I can send it to you when i get online... or if you dont like those skins then send me a notecard with what it is you need, so i can check if i got something simular... I had my share of problems with SL so thats why i offer it for free, nothing is more irritating that bugs in SL lol... I cant guarentee it will work, maybe this skin will do the same.. But its worth a try.. I know all the skins in the shop has loaded fine for others, so if it wont load, I would contact support about the problem... Yes I got two shops.. 'Lis'ten' and 'Lis'ten exclusive'... I do not have any skins in Lis'ten exclusive.. Lis'ten is on a military team sim called the Pond, so you will know for sure if your at the right one... The skins are in the right side of the shop, in the back of the room, they stand as full size avatars... no demos yet thou... got plans for those to do soon... If none of those skins are what your looking for, then let me know what it is you want, maybe I got some hidden in my inventory from when I was making a lot of skins LOL I never got them all out in the shop.... yet.... 1). How and why did you get started? I was getting tired of not being able to find the exate things I was looking for, so I started making my own insted.. And pretty soon I had friends asking me to make something for them, that they couldnt find either.. I started with making skins, but quickly ended up with making clothings aswell.. and items as plates, glasses ect..One day I had so many things in my inventory that I might aswell open up a shop with it in.. so I did that.. 2). What tools do you use? Do you use mesh, etc.? No mesh (yet) but I spend many hours in photoshop and AvPainter. Most programs are really hard to read up on when english isnt the first languid.. I am pretty good with english, but I tend to give up on instructions on 'how to do' a program. 3). Do you make clothes that you would wear in Real Life, or clothes that you would only wear in SL? Lately I only do custom orders, so it is up to those that orders it what it shall be, but for my shop and items for myself, is mostly something that I would wear in real.. Madam, my avatar is an extensions of the real me, so it is only right that she would wear same as me.. I will show you a photoshopped picture of me and madam.. yes its photoshopped, it had to be or I couldnt be standing next to Madam, but the face is all real me.. 4). Do you make lingerie, sleep wear, bathing suits, outer clothing, etc. I make anything and everything that ppl ask me for (IF I am capable) since it is custom orders. Both for men and women... personally I dont like jeans that shows half the butt but I do make them for my customers... Its mostly up to my customers and friends, what I make.. But I have made anything from weddingdress, gowns, tuxes, lingeri, sweaters, uniforms, fun sweet or sexy costumes, jeans, tops, bikinis ect.. ect.. I still got a lot of plans, however my real life has slowed me down for a while due to health issues.. But I got plans, I got many plans, just not the time for it yet... One day it will happen *giggless 5). Do you show off your clothing creations? Where? I got two shops inworld, the main shop Lis'ten whichis located at our own land, and I got Lis'ten Exclusive, a minor exclusive shop that is located at the Tribute City, one of the most amazing sims I have yet seen.. My partner has a shop with bikes, and is also making helicopters + we are currently working on our website (click the banner below, if you want to see it, but it is still under construction) My #1 plan is thou to get all our items onto Markedplace... So lots of plans, but no time to do it at the moment.. But one day...... one day *giggles... It will get done.. We dont design to earn money.. ofcause we dont work for free, but the money isnt our drive.. its a just good bonus to help pay the rent. But we both started designing because we enjoy doing it... I am a custom skin, clothes, texture Designer. If you click the banner below and find the page with custom skin, its explained how I do it.. no pictures are shown thou, as the website is under construction and I do not like to show off other pplz poberty/avatars. But so far all my customers have been satisfied. with what I made. However.... theres a couple things with custom avatars/skin.. First of all. English isnt my first languid, so I sometimes need things spelled out to understand it... I usually work it like this... you show me by pictures and explanations what it is you want exactly.. the more details you tell, the better i can make it.. and when I know exactly what it is you want, then I can give you a price and its up to you to take or leave it.... Second... who is it on the picture? if it is a celebrity, then I am not allowed to make him by the TOS.. I can make something simular thou... Third... I can make the skin look like the picture you provided, but if the shape is not exately as the picture then it wont look like him.. shape and skin go hand in hand in SL, and I must admidt, I am not as good with shape as with skin, so I always make sure to send a shape with the skin and make it modify/copy so you can work on it yourself.. But maybe there is a designer that do shapes, unfortunally I have yet to meet another custom designer. Custom skin is not cheep, and that is because it takes a lot of time to do them... I dont do full permission but would be glad to make copy/mod or trans/mod for a reasonable price.. I am very ill in RL so if you are in a hurry, then I am the wrong designer for you, as I got very passiv days (sometimes weeks)... aswell as a waitinglist that has grown a bit because I got issues with SL as my items wont load at the moment, but the support-team is working actively on fixing it... So theres a lot to consider... I am not much inworld at the moment (due to health) so I can either be contacted at my email (which I perfer) honnygal@hotmail.com or by im's that I get and will answer offline... I would be glad to do it, but can not set a timeframe at all... (which you should check out aswell, its very well made, 3 sims attached, for flying, for big boys and their big toys *giggless...) But our sim's are rated as adult, for me to be able to display my skins... I always use phoneix viewer myself, and used that first time I did all these steps, and nothing happend, I keept getting the error, so I contacted them again and this time I was told to use a sl viewer, so I had to go download it, cause I am not a fan of it, I find it very confusing, especially because english isnt my languaid. But I did download it, and did the steps, and now the items do apeare in my inventory, just blank without texture on... They might have ran two different fixes, but from where I sit, the only difference was that I used sl viewer insted of phoneix... However... Solution... I post this reply in case someone else have same problems and pulls up this thread... I ended up having to contact support as nothing seemed to work, and they have been very helpful. They told me that the items was not totally lost from inventory and told me to do some steps while they ran a script... My problems are 'almost' fixed.. which means, the items is there now, just blank without the texture on, but since I made it myself, I got the texture so I can fix it... I just need to redo everything I made lately... I found that it was important to use a SL viewer, or it wouldnt work for me. Menu > Preferences > Network > Clear Cache and exit SL.. Then log in again, to a quiet region as Lime, Welsh or Pooley. Let inventory load and stay there for at least 20 minuts. Then it worked for me... sorta... But.. I also had them running the background fix (or sumthing) while I did it.. So if your premium, contact support.. Blessings Lis

They told me that the items was not totally lost from inventory and told me to do these steps while they ran a script... Pssssttttttt... Ailya Babii, ermmm..... I got to buttttttttt in here... cause I really truly have to say.. WOW you are good, you got a flair for details and for making skins... You should consider making them to sell (unless you ofcause allready do)... I do custom skins, which is exately as you do now... by making some of it, then test it and show it, then do some more. then show it again and doing this untill its perfect for the customer.... I love doing custom skins and clothes myself, thou it takes a lot of time it will always remains my favorit part of designing.. I just wanted to let you know that you should really consider selling them. And if you dont have a place in the start of where to sell it, I might be able to fit a couple skins of yours into my shop... just think about it for a while.. (I dont need anything for doing that, ofcause what they sell will go 100% to you) There is not many designers that do custom items at all, and as I seen it, there is not many that does child skins at all, which is what you really got a flair for... I might allready got a customer for you.. I had one a while ago asking me to do a boy and a girl that they wanted full permission for a school, it never got further in communication + I am not to happy about doing full permission, but they might still need it...
