  1. First option was definitely my preference, so I'll go for that. Thanks so much Sylvia and LittleMe. You input was exactly what I needed. *runs off to bestow the appropriate abilities to the lesser mortals in his group* \o/
  2. If possible, I'd like to allow a specific group role to allow building/moving/editing objects and terrain on land that is group-owned. I figure there are two approaches: Turn off Build for Groups in About Land > Options, then set up a group role that allows building and terraforming, hoping that the new role allows building again *just for those people with that role*, or Turn on Build for Groups in About Land > Options, then set up a group role that allows building and terraforming, hoping that people not set to that role cannot build. Either approach works for me, but as there is no specific 'allow building' in Group Roles, I'd like to know what would be the best combo of the existing group roles to enable role-wearers to build on the land, but only them. Appreciate your advice in advance! -Jimm
  3. Oh this wasn't for me necessarily (although I was doing a search for lock systems and stumbled upon this thread) - I just wanted to get people to share their solutions instead of perpetuating the "solved thanks bye" mentality. I'm a programmer by hobby and trade (40+ years), so I value building a solid base of knowledge shared by a community to improve solutions to problems.
  4. And which one did you find that works for you? Sharing is caring.
  5. there is also http://www.sumopaint.com/app/ - browser-based paint program, much like a mini-photoshop. although after tinkering with it for a few days, it is hard to find much that it can't do, that photoshop or paint.net can do (so far).
