  1. hello, i have been working in mesh since 2011 and since then up until now i have had almost a complete block on uploading anything mesh in second life! it took me three months to upload something in the summer! it seems that whenever i want to upload a mesh it stalls for what seems like forever after i press the calculate weights and fee button and then the upload button which if i am very lucky follows after. in October i was thankful because with enough time of pressing the upload button and retrying, i was allowed to upload some items. it was a wonderful change from being unhallowed to upload anything. but now it seems i have been blocked off again, and i do not know why. what makes me think i have been blocked off? for one thing i have changed three computers in the attempt to be able to upload a Maya dae mesh into secondlife.i have tried both Maya 2011 and Maya 2012. i have tried using blender too, with the same results practically! today for example i figured that maybe it was my mesh that was the problem, or how i rigged it. so for hours i went over how to rig, weight and upload from scratch...again and again! but it still wouldn't let me upload. no error as always, just a stall that never ends! so, i thought for a test i would upload a simple rigged cube. This is what i did: in Maya: (note: i use a skeleton from the standard sizes scene on the marketplace, but i also have used one that someone said was from chosen few (i think i dont recall completely), and ofcourse the one that is also around here on the forums )_ i give the mesh one default Lambert material, i then press delete history then freeze then reset, then delete history again. i check each skeleton bone to make sure it's rotation is on zero i went to window > outliner and pressed mpelvis i went to the main modeling window , then left clicked and pressed hierarchy . it selected all of the skeleton (by the way i have also tired it by pressing the plus sign beside mpelvis , pressing all of the plus signs on the inside, then clicking each bone name) once all of the skeleton is highlighted, i press the shift key and select the mesh so that both pelvis and mesh are selected, the mesh being selected last. in Maya 2012 i go to file > export selection > . i save it as a dae_fbx export and give it a name. i have also tried saving it as a fbx and using the Maya 2011 fbx exported and exporting it as a dae collada file i have also have exported it in Maya 2011 as open collada in my tests,. once in secondlife (after making sure i have no other online application going to steal ANY of the online bandwidth. I have tried doing this with and without my firewall just in case) i go to upload model in secondlife. i select the model and click for it to include the weights (i click nothing else because when i did click other things in the past it worked even less) and i press for it to check the weights and i start hoping that it will work. and get to the upload button. but this does not happen 8 out of ten times, so i must keep retrying and hoping. then, it by chance it does, i press upload.....and it stalls from there .it does not crash, it gives no error, but it grays out after pressing upload and a person shows up on my private no visitor land (every time infect). after that, nothing. it has been like this for me with three different computers. even the simple test cube as i have said will not go through. that should work right? no! same unending stall and i had to keep retrying until out of luck i was able to upload a rigged cube, but only once because after i tried it again it was back to not working. it just isn't fair. in real life my family and i are constantly targeted and "gang stalked" because i standup for peoples rights and my family's rights peacefully, and have known no end to the mistreatment because of it. but since coming to secondlife it has followed me and my family, which i was surprised of. i may not be believed and that's ok. i don't really mind. i want it documented just how far people will go to stop me, my family and anyone they choose to keep from just being able to create. it's just a shame, i and my family have always been peaceful people...never looking to mistreat or harm but always ready to speak out about injustices happening to others and often to us. being targeted isn't fair and shouldn't be happening here in secondlife or in real life. thank you to those who have cared enough to be kind to my family and myself in secondlife, it really made a big difference to us. it doesn’t look like I will ever be allowed to create in secondlife, as well as my family. but I wish those of you who are allowed the best of luck. Hello, i have not been able to upload any rigged mesh for months now and i don't know why. i created the mesh in Maya and rigged it . it worked in Maya and i selected the rigged mesh first then the skeleton in outliner selecting each piece until i got to pelvis at the top. and exported using open collada . i went into the normal sl viewer then the beta viewer. it gave me no trouble and i clicked for it to include the rigging and did the physics on it. i then clicked calculate and it did that. then i tried upload. and it was grayed out but then nothing happened after. it waited for over an hour sometimes half an hour each time i tried this. this went on for months until i decided to try it with a box today. and it still happened whyen i tried to upload! and i didn't get one error! i dont know what is wrong, but i really need to know so i can fix it. could someone point me to a very good tutorial on rigging in Maya and on uploading ? or maybe if you could explain what the steps are to rigging and uploading. any information you could give! ...i'm also wondering if there is a problum with my skeleton. when i downloaded it it was slightly rotated on the pelvis. i think it was at 0.5 ...so i put it back to 0.0 on that and every rotation. if someone could help me with this problem i would be very happy
