  2. I generally click on profiles with the express intention of avoiding pervs, or morons, or dullards, or anyone mentioning avoiding drama (which usually means they love indulging in it), or anyone saying if you mess with whoever you will deal with me, or those who consider they exclude themselves from the ToS with some variation of expressing their right to publish chat, or everyone who fills up their picks with THE FAMILY, or ... the list is not exhaustive, but it gives me an idea of the person. Anyone who writes anything in their profile is an idiot to shout "perv" at anyone who looks at thei
  3. Thanks Rufferta., particularly Having a rl friend who is a mole, I know they have great pride in the public works in sl particularly the railways, roadways and waterways, like for example the seas. Years ago I rented about half of Purple, one of the oldest sims in sl, with access to the end of the SLRR and the sea.
  4. Tried different projectors from work to see if any would be good, and even our super duper expensive one was a bit blurry. In the end I replaced the middle of my three monitors with this 29" ultra widescreen and it's the best monitor I've used for sl. It's very immersive.

Only the weak believe that. No, not only the weak. The less insecure wise believe it too.

  10. Interesting GENERAL DISCUSSION, during which I've learned a lot from the forum lawyers... I think this evening I have learned the following: it is against the rules to state you think someone to be an idiot, even if you don't actually accuse them of being one. However it is perfectly acceptable to: - mock someone (who may be an idiot) and ask if they are on medication - infer by nationality that someone is like a stereotypical joke of their own nationality - sarcastically and continually repost the same pic rather than just being helpful - continually reappear here in various guises

  15. I care not for support, and abhor sympathy. I care a lot for new folks confused and posting where it may gain help. If I were one of those posting here, I'd be upset by the continual posting of a pic of a screen which I didn't recognise. I do remember you being a voice when the GD vanished. Considering those who have no idea of this history, and perhaps see the word GENERAL, I think we could be a little kinder, no matter how annoying it is. Exasperation perhaps, like using the phrase "sick and tired"!

Thankfully, I have spent an entire life needing no medication whatsoever, but thanks for a viewpoint which arrogantly indicates I must be mad to disagree with the great superior intellect that is you. As for taking things too seriously, I see the humour attempt in all that you do, largely find it unfunny and when it comes to the more naive and less experienced members of the SL community, find it distastefully arrogant, superior and unfriendly. 18. i am frankly sick and tired of your continual spam here. I remember a time when many of us fought long and hard to retain a GENERAL DISCUSSION forum mostly because, when the new forums were introduced, minus the GENERAL DISCUSSION forum, they were so prescriptive/specific and often irrelevant there was nowhere to ask general questions. Now it seems, unless we follow your rules of what is acceptable or post in fear of being grammatically corrected continually by your supercilious friend, the GENERAL DISCUSSION forum has become an unfriendly place to generally discuss anything. It's about tim

  21. Putting to one side your original question was answered, AR them, many thanks for the update which adds more peanut butter to the peanut butter sandwich. Irrespective of the peanut butter level, or even in fact the very reason for the existence of the peanut butter, or your views on the peanut butter, you were told about the peanut butter. So thanks for the extra helping of the peanut butter. You should still AR them.
  22. There is the weirdest echo in here. I am looking for a friendly penguin family to waddle about in that way they do. I'd rather like fish and sharing of fish catching stories. At other times, I should like to go off and indulge in my other hobby: pretending to be other people, and yet with the same goal, the penguin thing.
  23. Great, child friendly pubs and having to put up with them there, now new SL, is there nowhere one can escape the annoyance of others' children?
