I appreciate the $20 decrease in full region pricing, it at least brings the price back to what it was before I had to pay state tax on the purchase. Homesteads should have got this reduction too, or at least half ($10).
The 5% cash out fee has been in place since 2019... the only difference is that now there is no $3 minimum or $500 maximum. Which means creators can no longer horde $10k+ before cashing out to get the benefit of the $500 max. Not sure how many were actually taking advantage of that "perk" tho.. No matter what, the creators are the lifeblood of SL, without them, there is no SL, there is just OpenSim.
The 10% increase to buying L, at least it has a $14.99 cap meaning people should take advantage of that and buy $150 ($165) or more in at a time instead of 3 rounds of $50. (I know this isn't feasible for everyone, just suggesting that it would be to their benefit). I'm sure if enough people do this, they'll remove that max cap too.
The issue that bugs me the most this time around is why does anyone have to be a premium plus member to pay their land fees with L? This should be an option for every land owner, regardless of membership status, and it should have been an option all along. The only reason for this is that the Lab is double dipping by skimming off the conversion rates and then profiting on that amount + the actual land fee, so by paying a membership fee, it's just getting listed as a perk but it's actually just replacing the skim.
