  1. Well then go on with your bad self, Ruth. I'm not sure why you bother to put your two cents into this thread at all then if you're perfectly content with just being an sl noob forever? If you're not buying, or selling, renting, or contributing to the sl economy, why does any of this concern you at all?
  2. And if you were stripped back to a noob with no nice clothing, hair, AO, furniture, mesh bodies, makeup or other extras and modifications, would you stay? I didn't say creators don't need consumers, I said without creators, SL would just be OpenSim. And we see how big the population is in comparison. Creators need customers, and consumers need creators. LL provides the platform.
  3. Unless you're using a digital antennae to get your local channels for free, you're paying a tv tax in america too. They just call them FCC Admin, Franchise Fees, and Broadcast TV Surcharges instead. It's a little different but, it's all the same in the end.
  4. I appreciate the $20 decrease in full region pricing, it at least brings the price back to what it was before I had to pay state tax on the purchase. Homesteads should have got this reduction too, or at least half ($10). The 5% cash out fee has been in place since 2019... the only difference is that now there is no $3 minimum or $500 maximum. Which means creators can no longer horde $10k+ before cashing out to get the benefit of the $500 max. Not sure how many were actually taking advantage of that "perk" tho.. No matter what, the creators are the lifeblood of SL, without them, there is no SL, there is just OpenSim. The 10% increase to buying L, at least it has a $14.99 cap meaning people should take advantage of that and buy $150 ($165) or more in at a time instead of 3 rounds of $50. (I know this isn't feasible for everyone, just suggesting that it would be to their benefit). I'm sure if enough people do this, they'll remove that max cap too. The issue that bugs me the most this time around is why does anyone have to be a premium plus member to pay their land fees with L? This should be an option for every land owner, regardless of membership status, and it should have been an option all along. The only reason for this is that the Lab is double dipping by skimming off the conversion rates and then profiting on that amount + the actual land fee, so by paying a membership fee, it's just getting listed as a perk but it's actually just replacing the skim.
  5. "The maximum fee is your current balance"... holy sh*t. So basically.. there isn't a "fee".. there is "If you don't use your account within 12 months we'll close it and take all your money." Nice. Granted, it isn't difficult to keep your account open, however, it's still a gross action on LL's part. Oh.. sorry, "Tilia's" part.
  6. @Linden Lab Will our land fees still be automatically deducted from our USD balances? I ask because you say that when we exchange Lindens to USD they go into some "Value Wallet" thing with your alt Tilia to be used between multiple platforms... So does this mean that the lab will deduct the land fees from our Tilia accounts? Or is Tilia used -purely- for cash out purposes as it has been for quite some time now?
  7. @Linden.@lindenlab.com Will we still be able to use our USD balance to pay our land fees prior to cashing out? With all these new extra fees you've given us, I may have to "offset the costs" by dropping a sim or two. PS Stop bleeding SL residents to fund Sansar. Thx.
