Ok I am not a stupid person, but how on earth do we set up this ANS stuff so that we receive an IM or notification inworld when we have sold something on the marketplace???

I am just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. I went to my profile inworld and went to change a picture, to find that all of my info on the front of my profile was missing, Profile pic was gone, my About: info was blank, also my 1st Life info was blank. It has since happened to 2 other friends, all picks were still there just other info was gone... anyone have similar problems or any idea on why it would happen? I haven't tried to edit it anywhere other than inworld, My profile is currently all there as I have just put it back together :D and I am using the newest Firestorm viewer, I posted this question as it happened to 2 other friends of mine in the last week, after it happened to me, as it seems some kind of bug, we are backing up our profiles on NC's so it's easy to replace all lost info if it happens again *sorry i edited the question but was unsure how to reply to your questions any other way* Thanks for your help!

But they are in the folders and on the MP...that's what I don't understand...they are there, on the MP, but also in my lost and found folder...

I am also wondering if anyone has an answer to this: Why is it when i send items to the merchant box, do roughly half the items, gesture or nc or lm, get copied to my lost and found folder????

wow! thats ridiculous Makes my problem so insignificant :womanindifferent: They gotta fix this stuff tho...

The "official" work around... In other words... They can't fix it yet so you have to spend hours adding and deleting items until they can work out how to fix an issue. I have been deleting them one by one, or sometimes 2 at a time.....there is no other option...im just sayin.....find out what the issue is and fix it......PLEASE! :womanfrustrated:

I have almost 100 items in my unassociated inventory that need deleting. I cant select all then delete...oops! we are sorry there has been an issue, continue shopping???? I wasnt shopping...Im trying to work!!! How else can we delete these items without having to do it one by freakin one???? I am slowly starting to detest this new mp crap!

Altho I have noticed they still havent fixed the ability to mass delete the items in our unassociated inventory without an error...grrr so i guess ill be deleting that stuff one by freakin one :smileymad:

I am about to move land, thanks to owner selling, I have put all of my listings on the MP in folders to enable instant use with the direct delivery. In these folders are the item (gesture) a notecard and a LM. How do i update the LM in all of these listings now? Do i have to do it in my inventory and then upload them to the marketplace again? And what happens with all the current listings? am i going to have multiple listings to go through? Am I going to have to delete all the listings again and re-add them one by one, cos i can tell you this, having to upload the same texture over 300 times is a right royal pain in the butt cos there isnt an option to allow you to add the texture to ALL of your listings like you can do for the permissions and such.. *takes a breath* Can someone please help me? Thanks :-)

I am renting land on a estate/full region....our sim went down a few days ago for a couple of days, ever since then, we have been unable to upload textures, sounds or save notecards..and when we are trying to run business it makes it very difficult. I have sent estate managers IM's requesting a region restart or whatever they do, but they havent been online. Is there a way to get it done without them?

Gesture sounds normally took a little while to load previously, lately they do not load at all and you have to play the gesture a second time for the sounds to kick in, Are there issues with soundfiles in SL?

OK so i dont have 4.5k items on the marketplace but i do have a lot, and i was starting to get extremely frustrated that i couldnt delete the unassociated inventory quicker than one at a time, Or i would delete some, then come back later and they were all back, or half of them had been deleted. I ended up going to the Xstreet section to remove or update the magic box, deleted the first box that ihad emptied, came back to marketplace and resynced magic boxes, and voila, all unassociated items disappeared! only thing i can suggest is 1 box at a time copy items to invent, as you send them over to merchant box, delete them from your magic box folder...assuming you have copies....then do the hole "delete magic box" thing...hopefully that helps.

I have seen the same thing with gestures i did last night, in the lost and found was the LM's and NC's that i was also adding into the folders. I deleted them :-/ not sure if it was the right thing to do or not.

I have also had items removed from the marketplace, as also a friend did because she had the wrong maturity rating on them, how do we remove the item and relist it without having to rename it? Xstreet gave us that option. When it is an item that is removed, no unlisted, how do we edit the item to change the rating to relist???
