I got passed a notecard through a group, and its a scary warning. SoulSeize is back out in SL. For those of you who are unaware of what this is, it is basically a way (usually a HUD) for someone to retain control of your Avi forcing it to perform animations at will. It will ask the victim ONCE to allow it to animate their Avatar, and from then on will retain the permission forever. There is no way to revoke the permissions (not by relogging or any other way . DON'T ACCEPT a random request from anyone to animate your avatar you DON'T know. Pls pass this information out I don't want to pass along rumours, so want to check the validity before sharing it. No real work arounds from me. I noticed after I tried to go to the Gacha Arcade, I was getting the little error signs around my LOGO mesh head. Can't see her eyes (tres creeeepy). But the weird thing is, if I log on with my alternate account then Autumn, the first account has the issues with seeing certain mesh items, but A is ok! Its so annoying, wondering if its something to do with the upcoming roll out with server side baking? So my suggestion would be just create an alt, log on with it, then open another viewer and log on with your main. Once the main is loaded, log off the alt and do your usual thing. I sure hope someone else chimes in with a better resolution! Cheers Autumn

with the new FS, the height offset is under editing your appearance - shape. (right click on your avi, select appearance, then shape. Should be in the first tab, scroll to the bottom) Cheers Autumn

Where am I from? West coast Canada When did I join SL originally? Jan 1, 2010 What have I mainly spent my time doing in SL in the past? Initially, slexing & shopping. Slex became boring, and I realized that those freebies weren't so nice, and then discovered hunts! Got a job (that I still have). Made tons of friends How am I planning to spend my time in SL in 2013? Hunting/shopping, making more friends, helping new joins. Perhaps, one day, my friend Nos will break me down with all his nagging, and I shall learn to build *goes back to lurking*

It was her brand of mesh feet that were the issue. I had to leave before I could see a nice heel on her avi. I hope once she gets a different set, it all works out for her. I don't know if SL's viewer has the "reset to default female avatar" like Firestorm does, so I just had her go into her library and choose to wear one of the ones from there. (I must say, the pirate one isn't too bad for clothing!) I don't believe she was aware she could "add" alpha layers, so its possible she could have had conflicting alphas from the mesh feet, then wearing a pair of heels over top as well. We shall see what happens when she gets back from her trip. Fingers crossed! ~A

fill out a support ticket. The sim where I work was down almost 24 hours...I submitted a ticket and a very pleasent email arrived within 30 min. Sim up and running. Can't hurt to try! I was a bit worried as my boss (the owner of said sim) is on vacation, but there were no issues with needing the actual owner contacting LL about this Cheers Autumn
