    It's not off-topic if it gives them a sense of control inworld. They can hit that little X in the upper right corner. Then go back into SL as an alt who doesn't have to deal with the people who have annoyed them.

    Some people create alts when they feel attacked, stalked, or they want to difuse an emotionally difficult situation. We might create an alt to get away from people who bug us in SL. Some might create one to "support" them on the forums. This can be a technique to aid in their resilience.

    I think someone should start a thread about food in Second Life, how the food we eat in RL affects the food we like in SL. Do you eat different kinds in food in SL than you eat in RL? Do you eat food in RL that you can easily eat at your computer? Do you ever wear an avatar or outfit that depicts food in SL? Any subject can be about SL if we torture it enough until we all want to scream.

    Ah, but I think she actually *buys* her new clothes. I consider myself a freebie queen, knowing where to get the good gifts and store credit, so I don't go through my meagerly $L 300/ week too quickly, but still have the fun of getting new clothes.

    I'm assuming you're struggling with the change from Maitreya Lara to LaraX. I am too, with my 3 female avatars. I didn't mind before when my alts used Maitreya Lara and Persephone used Belleza Freya, but now I just want them all to be able to use LaraX. I don't like being forced to switch bodies when I just want to change clothes. I don' want to delete clothes I like for Alycia though. She has all these cute gothy clothes. Oubliette and Blueberry aren't making clothes anymore, and there just aren't enough free gothy clothes in LaraX sizes. Finding the right sizes in my inventory isn't a problem, because I put "M *" in the folder title for Lara classic sizes and "LaraX" for the new sizes. I guess I just don't like going back to the old shape with the weird shoulders and armpits. I'm considering buying a shoulder deformer, so Alycia can wear her old clothes without having linebacker shoulders. It doesn't matter so much for Tasha because she wears mostly jeans and tops that cover her shoulders and back when she's in human form. Persephone usually does too, so she can wear Legacy sizes on LaraX. Maybe I'll just have to let my alts go back to Lara classic until there is enough LaraX clothing? Or maybe I'll just stop getting new clothes for them. ☹️ I can't afford to buy a bunch of new clothing for 3 avatars.

    Your objects are most likely in your Lost and Found folder as coalesced objects. The icon for coalesced objects looks like several boxes stacked together. If you see this icon in your Lost and Found folder, go to a big sand box and drag the coalesced objects out of your Inventory. You will not see the names of all your No Copy objects until they are inworld. Then look carefully around the sandbox to be sure you find each item and take it back into your inventory individually. In the future, before you abandon or sell land, be sure to take all your No Copy items back into your inventory first.

    Yes, but do they pay for staff? I thought the OP meant that "staff" in SL is often just bots, such as those standing behind the counter at some stores. Maybe, on the other hand, he's complaining about AFK virtual sex workers, since he also says we must just want to have sex with ourselves? Maybe he's upset because the AFK sex worker he visited wouldn't talk back to him?

    I don't think it's also been mentioned here that the group moderators said in the group that they were basically laid off, but were continuing to support users as best they could for the sake of the Blueberry customers and group members.
