i've looked in the knowledge exchange but cant find the answer to my question which is can i withdraw money to skrill and if so how long will it take

paypal has been a nightmare for me also, my paypal account is permanently limited because apparently i made transactions that broke there terms of service, however when they gave me the transaction ID's for the offending transactions they didn't exist. that didn't stop my ignoring me when i informed them of that as they basically closed my account however add to that LL wont recognise my card even exists i have no way to cash out should i want to.....and i have 60k worth of lindens that i want to. i dont understand why other popular e-wallet systems arn't used also like moneybookers/skrill. not as though there losing out by offering them

i just cliced on the age verification thing again and it didn't ask me to confirm my age so i relogged into SL and it worked, i put my card details into SL the 1st few days age verification came into SL and hardly had any problems, never told me i needed to confirm my age oh well it works now (i hope) thx guys

hmmmm ok cheers i assumed that by entering card details that was enough on the site it says im verified, click age verification just tell me to change preferences in the viewer (which its already at adult) under where it says " Age Verification: Mannie Clowes You now have access to Adult-rated areas in Second Life! Time to explore. Have a great time!"

1st of all i couldn't see a problem forum so sorry if this should be anywhere else i seem to be blocked from entering 5% or so of adult lands, when i try to TP it says im not verified.....i am verified i can join other adult sims with no problem. now i've had this problem before on sims i've tried going to where the owner has solved the problem so i know its some setting on the land (i've gotten into the land owner switched whatever he switched on/off and i got booted straight back out again saying im not verified once more) i should have asked him what he did at the time to let me in but i shouldn't and its become a problem again, can anyone tell me how the land/sim owner would fix this ?

and there will be lots more of those smaller textures to render, far far more, yes the 1024x1024 are more graphically intense individually but the smaller ones on modern games far outweight the proccessing power needed to render the scenario we were talking about. anyway im sorry to have taken the conversation offtrack from what the OP wanted to know in trying to point this out for you, i have no doubt you'll post again after me but as i cant make you see the light i'll simply stop posting to stop myself deralling this anymore

and i think you need to look what sort of grahpics the modern AAA titles are pumping out now

hmm no not really this pc (the specs i posted before) hasn't been able to run any releases for the last 2 years or so unless there not graphically intense, and im not talking low fps im talking plain up wont run, where as SL runs because its old and its not graphically intense even in the slightest compared to the latest releases

obviously not, but i cant up my draw distance to a resonable level (slider bar around mid way i forget what the number is) and it will run fine the OP just asked what will run SL not whats required for all the bells and whistles which quite frankly i never notice when i have them on anyway but perhaps thats because i usually play of the latest AAA PC releases being mentioned, SL graphics just seem horrible after that whatever i do with them

its not difficult to compare SL to modern games at all, even if you have 10 people all with different variations of those necklaces standing next to each other you wont get anywhere near the graphics load that any of the new games will have, compared to them SL is poorly coded thats why you need a machine with a little umph to run sl nothing more and yes the latest games are starting to need around 4gb of ram to run.....for example skyrim has a minimum specs of 3gb and thats been toned down because its also getting released on consoles......i cant see it going over 4gb of ram however until the next gen consoles are released and catch up to what PC's can do right now but thats beside the point i have a pc running xp P4 3Ghz, 1 gig ram and a 128mb video card....it runs SL...not great but it runs it if this helps the OP any...for W7 you'll need to up the specs a little on the video/graphics card though i bet

most games require 4GB or better ram nowadays yes but SL isn't a new release, in gaming terms its ancient and shouldn't require anywhere near that much to run......however it poorly coded graphics wise (and probably in lots of other areas as well) so it requires alot more than it does but in absolutly no way is it graphics intensive. go check the graphics of the latest releases (PC versions) and then compare to SL...there is no comparison
