  1. Ok. I rolled and got one on water and it is a nice spot. I opted for an on-water plot because I have boats. I will keep it and play with it for awhile. I am wondering if there is a post for the railings or if I am missing it in the content creation pack? If not I will have to make one
  2. Wow! This looks fab! This makes me reconsider whether to roll for some land stilts once everything cools down.
  3. I have been getting my Christmas lights up!
  4. I made my alt premium again so I can roll when they come out. I doubt I would live in one full time but I figured with the long cold winters I have here in RL, a beachy themed vacation house might be fun for a month or two. Plus, I want to be part of the fun, too!
  5. This is what I am afraid will be a deal breaker for me. I like a sense of privacy and seclusion. I will check them out, but I have a feeling I will be sticking to where I am currently at because it feels exactly like home.
  6. Oh, and to answer your question. I like #3 and #4 because I see land directly attached and that means I could sail/boat and grab a bike and easily bike around.
  7. It's purely personal preference. I once landed an amazing traditional. I knew it was a very lucky grab. It was everything nearly everyone would want, but it did not offer me privacy. Thus, I let it go. I keep what feels like home to me.
  8. I have one Linden home now and it is my main home. I did have mainland but I got rid of that this week. RL has got busy for me so all I need is my Linden home and I am happy!
  9. I have a waterside Victorian I am going to release. It has lovely flowers in the front. I will release here shortly. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Whither/223/216/31
  10. I am sure not having a dedicated card is some of the issue. I have to try it on my laptop for curiosity sake. My graphic card is a Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 Super. I do realize the average user isn't likely to have this card.
  11. I am surprised. I am in the minority here because I like EEP. I like being able to grab the sun or moon and swing it around and place it wherever I want. Now it doesn't matter if you have that super amazing sunset facing LL home because anyone can easily have a sunset view from any direction now (you could technically do that in the old viewer too but I think it's easier in EEP). And some of those EEP settings on the Marketplace are fun to play with. Someone made a night sky milkyway and another person made what looks like an erupting volcano. My favorite windlights are Jay's Battlescars off the MP (made for the original viewer) and I imported them into EEP in moments. They look fab - just simply lovely! I am not experiencing any FPS drops. The windlight does look a big different, but for me it looks better. I do not know how much a graphic card plays a role in what people see. My desktop is quite "juicy" (I am a gaming nerd). I understand the average person probably doesn't have an expensive set up to play SL (and should not have to). I will have to try things out on my laptop and see if things are much worse there. Here is what I see on shared environment on FS EEP.
  12. I am selling these super cheap because I am downsizing all my tiers dues to my RL requiring most my time these days. These plots are all side by side. Take one or all. The area is beautiful. The neighbors are friendly. Hope you love the area as much as I did! 1,000L per plot. BARGAIN! http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Vaktarin/158/112/60
  13. I went and visited the chalet demo area. I thought they were cute and I am interested to see how people do these homes up, but at first glance, I don't see living there. I much prefer what I already have. I am sure some people will love them.
  14. All the parcels but two are left. I reduced the prices on them to very very cheap. 500L and 750L. I would rather someone get use of them than abandon them. It's a great area for breedables and DFS farming. Most the neighbors are farmers and have lovely parcels. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Girdler/207/182/57
  15. I took the 8192sqm from this thread and subdivided it for sale. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Girdler/219/98/41 Several parcels with low prices. Water views. 1024 sqm or smaller.
  16. I released all that I owned (except for my Vic that I am keeping) and now this last traditional is going back in. It is on a large in-land lake with small lovely parks on each side. It is super cute and I *almost* convinced myself to keep it, but I think someone else will love it as their home. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Gentle Grove/112/85/37
  17. I have a lovely 8192 for sale very near Linden water. It sits on a side of a mountain and the surrounding water can be seen from a few viewpoints. I personally landscaped this parcel and you are more than welcome to keep use of all the landscaping, the home and it's furnishings and enjoy them! I will take my farming stuff and animals when you buy. Please message me in-world if you have questions or are interested. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Girdler/242/165/58
  18. I told you I am terrible about timing. I got to chatting with a friend whose father just passed away and forgot to release it. I JUST did and it is in maintenance now 🙂
  19. Another catch and release today. I will keep rolling until my premium runs out next month. I am very much a vagabond and I am always looking for a new place to be my forever home that never lasts forever. lol http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Cape Edward/24/232/34 Will release in 15 (or so because I always forget) minutes.
