I don't remember the full details but do remember making a mistake in the past and ending up paying for more tier than I had land for. I do know that the tier level in my account was higher than the land I had after I'd got rid of some that took me to the next lower tier level, and that I was still paying the higher tier level until I noticed and changed it down in my account.
yea that happened to me in the past too, but it was many years ago, before the first price reduction of tier.

Well, I have a question:
I am amazed at how the lindens keep releasing Meds and Ranches, and they keep selling out. Does anyone know to date how many Med regions have been released (and sold out) and how many residential ranch regions have been released?

yea I did what DemeraraGirl suggested myself a few times. If you plan to keep the house for a while, the extra $18 for 1 month is worth it. If you dont plan to stay for at least several months, then I would just go with rolling.

You are right, zero second orbs are illegal on belli. In fact any orb that ejects between 400M and 2000M elevation in any length of time is illegal.
(however this topic would make more sense to me in the Linden Homes Forum)

yes, someone made a mistake yesterday and assigned some homes via tickets. I know that because two of my friends got homes that way. The mistake was realized and corrected. I tried to file a ticket today and was told that tickets are not permitted until Jan 8, as per Patch's post.
I was disappointed of course, but that is indeed what Patch had posted. Someone made a mistake yesterday, and a few people got lucky from it. But the rest of us were not really damaged .. I mean someone else could have just as easily rolled the parcel before we did. Life happens. People (even Lindens) occasionally make mistakes.
I think they did the right thing by correcting the error by not processing any more tickets when they realized the error. And I think the rest of us who did not benefit should just shrug it off and not get too upset.
As far as an assigned parcel becoming unassigned.. that is really alarming. I have heard of that one other time when the ranches came out. IDK what happened there and I feel bad for the person who that happened to. I think LL should look into that so it doesn't happen to someone else.

Dear Santa Patch.. expanding on Evageline's request... some of us are so dedicated to SL that we have multiple premium and/or premium plus alts and use them to get linden homes... but we keep our furniture and landscaping inventory on our main. So when we go to decorate, we often dont have access to the content creation pack content for the theme our alt has.
At times we want to move, and to "copy" our furnishing/landscaping builds to the new place (either with softlink objects or by putting them in a rezzer). We cant do that if we dont own all the stuff in the build.
There really are valid practical reasons why we want to be able to get content creation packs for our alt's homes on our main. Please consider Evangeline's request. Thank you.

I suspect they mean max number of people taking one from the land page (called Land Store now). But that doesnt take into account sold out or nearly sold out models such as pier and water stilts.
Another way to measure popularity would be by how seldom there are units available and how quickly they are grabbed up. But my guess is that twas not the criteria they used

This release has been very frustrating for me... I have upped 4 alts to try and roll a place I like.. I keep getting what I think are other people's tossers... usually one or two houses away from one I would like.
Almost all of my friends have rolled places I like, so I know they are available.. but I am just unlucky in my rolls.
[On the positive side, I guess this release will save me money cuz if I dont find one I like, I wont need to up that alt to annual premium.]
(Yes I know that on Jan 8 we can start submitting tickets, but I am not hopeful that anything I like will still be available by then.)

The only thing that would make chalets more appealing ot me would be to rework the neighborhoods so they are not mostly crammed together with mostly cement/bricks/tiles and had more nature and a lot more water.

Yes it is a great deal, ty for telling us about it.
Unfortunately the LI on their products is higher than I am willing to use. Beautiful stuff but all quite high LI. For example a chair I would expect to be 1 or 2 LI was 7, a bed was 27. I bet the LOD on those is excellent, but personally I cant use high LI objects in my homes or I would run out before I finished furnishing.

I bought this set a few days ago but when I went to put it out, I was disappointed the LOD. If I got a medium distance away, it looked awful, esp the fire pit. Most of Kazza has great LOD but every now and then they dont.. this is one of those now-and-thens. (I am not trying to put Kazza down.. I have and use a LOT of their stuff, it is just that this set did not work for me in my yard because of the LOD).
So I recommend you back away from it a distance at the store and make sure it looks ok to you at a distance you might expect in your yard.

the sandbox home interior controllers will not work for you.. it would be some intense scripting job to get them to key to whoever rezzed them. Instead, the sandbox houses work the same way the demo houses work.. you can control the house selection controller but you cannot change the colors of the floor, door, walls, etc.
If you really need them to change, I recommend you use an interior wallpaper shell or exterior shell (as needed). There are some realty great ones on the marketplace at reasonable prices.

I cant believe how fast these ranch homes keep selling out. On Nov 9, they released 192 homes.. .gone in less than a week. Then then released another 180 homes on the 17th... and those were also sold out about 10 days later.
That works out to 372 ranch homes claimed in less than 3 weeks .. and each of them requires an expensive Premium Plus account.
These ranch homes sure are popular! It continues to amaze me just how fast they sell out.

Erfe Design has an amazing "steal" ... a beautifully decorated bookcase with really cute animations... ones I haven't seen before like eating an ice cream cone or painting your nails. It is 15 LI (not bad LI for a fully decorated bookcase/seating arrangement that would fill an entire wall) and is mod so you can tint/texture. ONLY 60L
