Situation now is really STUPID. I laugh watching lindex. Somebody puts lot of efforts to unstable linden they even miss points placing sums over and over! For now there is nothing on 259, but 2 mln on 261! Crazy to participate there now. I let speculators play with themselves. I hope others will do so too.

In fact, money cant appear from nowhere. In summer we watched over 400 millions lindens in Sell orders, though before usually there was about 100. And there is question, what this money? Market creates itself by demand and offer. If there is 300 mln to sell - there was 300 mln to buy. But if it would happen suddenly - we would see linden getting points same way as it lost points by selling 300 mln over usual quantity. If landlords suddenly desided to change lindens to dollars then their customers needed to buy thiese lindens. If some veryvery successful creator with buisiness - his customers must buy lindens before too. So... think yourself who and how could create such a big crash and keeps holding this line.

I dont know, maybe somebody noticed this too, but look at Buy Orders side. There is very small quantity of requests to buy lindens. Recently it was about 60 millions and now? As something holds buyers to place their orders. Maybe it is large linden resellers keep market on this point? And yes, i also see very strange behavior which has no sence - setting Sell order 500 000 for 255, next second 500 000 for 256, next - for 257. It is really weird, especially if you are experienced company and know market - you know it takes less than hour to sell 500 000. I feel myself powned...

Watching lindex dayly and yes, push back started after Lindens announced new trading limits. Next hour after announce - immediately. So it is kinda proof there was some fraud. But they needed 6 months to investigate it? I dont believe. Anyway i fill myself fooled. I lost enough on overpriced exchanges recently. Lol yes, i was that one, who was waiting for months and lost faith and exchanged for 260. Next day Lindens made new limits yay.

Cool I just found great thing... I have threesome products. If there is word Threesome in title - it appears in search on first pages. If i remove word Threesome from title - it disappears completely from search THOUGH this word is in features many times and in keywords too. So what to wonder about drop in sales? Only god knows how many keywords are burried and how many items are lost from my store. I cant check ALL keywords from my 100+ items. Upd... Oh myyyyyy, I checked other keywords from some items. Same. For example Lovescene. This word in keywords. Not in title. And it is not shown in search by Lovescene. Just I add this word in title I get myself on first page of search. It is awful. Do I really need to add keywords in titles? Looks like tab Keywords and Features doesnt work properly. Shame.

I did changes described in this post some time ago to part of my products, other part stays without changes. And I didnt notice any difference in sells. And working with featutes and so on also has no effect to my sells. There are even days when I have 2 or 3 sells during the day. I didnt feel like that since my story with marketplace Even remembering xstreet. Activity for the european night is almost zero for me. Sometimes I have more sells inworld than on marketplace. So what about me - I am very pessimistic about SL and Marketplace. Linden dollar is behaving weird (I follow LindeX during the day and wondering how "some power" doesnt let it roll back adding millions and millions) and my store on Marketplace suddenly (!!!) lost customers.

Yeah, really, great advice to check keywords and fill features for people who put tons of efforts and money to move their products - customer service, paying adverts, updating, introducing and whatever for many years and now got their products burried under floor just because keywords and features. Really?

For me marketplace and secondlife websites are extremely slow. While i wait for loading page i forget what i am searching for. Terrible. My income fell down 50% since august 2016 and 75% comparing september 2015. Nice job, LL.

Luxury to wait one day to get order filled? If there is 80 miln - it takes something about 24 hours to fill order. Of course, if there is no panic trying to beat each other with 100 000.

And if we talk about sell orders - it is the same - cheap sellers. Look on quantity under 260 - 80 miln - it could be sold within 24 hours because market data says - dayly volume is about 80 miln. But cheap sellers cant wait. They cant wait! They need to sell it anyway and fast. 1 miln for 259? 10 minutes to wait? NOOOOOOOO! I will set for 260! And next one - NOOOOOO! I wont wait when others will sell their 100 000 for 260, i will set 261! And then panic starts growing... I follow lindens market for some months (since this rollercoaster started) and it is fun to see how panic appears just because of 1 miln that can be really sold within 10 minutes. And I do think it is same problem of cheap sellers who cant wait and cant make their brains think a little bit about consequences.

What for me, I do think that the biggest problem of SL is cheapies. It will crash SL one day and it all tends to it. Cheap prefabs, cheap animations. Look what is on top sells - resellers mostly. With sets of prefab furniture with 10000000+ animations and cheap price. They occupy market, and really what reason for some creator to make interesting mesh clothes once in a week/month and sell it for decent price as unique if there is some guano makers with mesh prefabs for 50 ld full perm? And just colored they are sold everywhere for 50 ld by resellers? Mesh furniture? Really good unique mesh furniture gets copied in bad quality with same idea but really BAD quality, some kinda fast poor copy, add copied 10000+ animations and yes, it beats everything, it beats unique original product that was made bofore. And animations? I am animation creator, I make them by hands, I spend time and efforts trying to make something unusual, interesting, long lasting with great variety of movements and sure I dont want to sell it full perm or if I do - I do it limited and expensive choosing creators who can buy it and add in good unique products. But how can I compete with some copy-cats who immediately after release or even before release (spying on my land) copy my animaton by pose and making them looking on pic like mine but very poor made and selling it full perm extremely cheap? Really I stopped creating time ago because it is useless. SL becomes kinda copy of itself but very bad copy. Cheap prefabs, cheap animations, cheap end products with cheap prefabs and animations. It is some kind of Money Laundring yes. But what in result ? Inventories full of guano? And why people will search for something unique and interesting if they try to search in marketplace and get mostly gatcha and cheapies? Will somebody get over page 10? You need to break head to find something really interesting among these Cheap Best Sellers. And good creators have choice - follow and set down prices to get at least some income to beat copycats or keep usual prices and wait for their customer maybe. Maybe. I am really in situation when I need to sell my expo sims because I dont get money to pay for them anymore.

My sales are also down last month. There was night with no even one order. It didnt happen to me since my MP story I dont know what is reason but it is kinda fast process. I feel some decrease this year but I connect it with my wish not to produce new things (it is another story, i am tired of cheap copycats) though it was very very slow, not so fast as last month.

BTW it is funny to see how you can buy lindens on Lindex and sell them immediately with profit :matte-motes-big-grin-squint: I think it is exchange nonsense. Why I need to produce stuff, spend time and efforts if I can only trade on Lindex selling/buying?

Maybe it is end of Lindex? Look Buy orders - how many millions there? 10 or so? I wonder - why. Maybe Lindens want to sell/buy lindens directly from merchants and set rate themselves? For this they dont need Linde[ and if Buyers activity is so low on Lindex - there is also no sense to have Lindex, if main buyer is LL.

For me it does not look like panic even. It looks like intentional crashing because amount of lindens to sell over 252 is decreasing but rates are going high. Stupid? And Buy orders? Somebody puts little sums to 340? And this this not panic itself but it creates panic. And LL keeps silence and i start to get messages from little sellers kinda "Tell, SL is going to close?!"

Things that happen are ridiculous. While i typed recent post rate fell from 261 to 264 2 minutes Offer of lindens (best rates) is about 432 millions. Really. Demand (best rates) is something about 27 millions. LOL. How suddenly happened that just within one month sellers got 430 millions to sell and buyers only want 27 of them? I dont believe that.

Well i do think itis more easy just to limit cashing out amounts per person than to crash linden dollar. Second, LL has income from 1) selling lindens to dollars 2) transfering usd to Paypal and what they will have if lindens will stay in game? They wont work for them then (unless using them for marketplace). And really... I cant even transfer ld into usd now for decent price to pay land... So wtf? Looking at amount of orders to buy lindens is obvious we have very low demand for lindens, thats why we cant sell same amounts as before. But what is reason of low demand? Technical problems or people dontvwant to buy lindens anymore or they dont use lindex to buy lindens?

Yes, as I said before it is hard to know who exactly sells lindens and why amounts of lindens to sell is rising up. Looks like somebody got lot of cash to drop away and this merchant's panic when they offer for 258 if there is not so much for 252 and 252 will be closed in some hours - that is silly. And it looks weird, very weird. Since i follow lindex (about some years) it is the most drasctical drop down - 10 points within month. It is not good. Maybe Lindens sell their lindens?

I wonder about amount of Buy orders. It is way less than Sell orders. I wonders what is going on. I explored http://gridsurvey.com/lindex.php?page=1 and actually did not find there drastical changes of Total transactions or Total volume. I wonder what happens. Looks like players get lot of money to sell but from where? If it is creators, if they sell good - then must be demand for lindens from buyers. Same with landlords. Maybe is it some crap who sells fake lindens? That is my crazy idea

Regarding your post about reviews, Pamela, I think it would be better without reviews at all. If there are scam or wrong listings - people should have ability to warn LL and LL should check it and remove. For now all this review system is just annoying. I do have good reviews but from 3 posted with 5 stars I have 10 posted with 1 star which I should flag because unfair. Mostly it is people who "lost" no copy thing and want to replace, or somebody who bought and "disappointed" (omg, iI have full sim to try demos! How it comes to stay disappointed with size, color, options, animations if you are able to check all in demos?...), or recently "undelivered", or even unfair competitors. But I think flagging will be useless soon because "reviewers" become more "experienced" and if they want to post bad review - they find way to do that with 4-5 stars even kinda like that - completely mocking review, flagged but never deleted

Looks like I will do that too. Though recently I notice my listings look like row of warnings lol. About "try demo before", "this is no copy warn - cant be replaced", "please read description with attention", "check twice gift's receiver name" and so on:) That situation is silly. I do think I should stop selling no copy because it is headache.
