Seems it really is changed somehow. Without any bots traffic about half or maybe thrid. But as it seems, its same for all so who acares. just a new calculation logic. Maybe better or not. who knows. Ayway difficult say what kind of algorhytm would be best. If there would be some kind of unique new avatar traffic counter(for example not counted if same avtar seen in same week), that would tell bit more..or anyway different info. I dont much care at all about whole counter but just my 3 cents;)

I am getting enough now and ready to leave sl soon and one reason sure now my viewer. Yesterday I was forced to update it and I couldnt see any sidebars but oldfashioned windows all over the screen like with old viewer. And then I reorganised them twice because after crash I lost all changes. Today again forced update, and now sidebars disappeared still but also everyting else disappeared. totally empty environment except menus. whats going on? Cant also see any blog info about this big changes. And any phoenix third party viewer is not an answer. Its already seen how easy its nowadays make copybot viewers because viewer is made open source. Just today someone did show how somebody in sl makes full perm copies of whatever you want, and of course Linden lab cant do anything and they forward it to dmca. It was once done for ONE item and never even got any answer. Worthless. Not problem for me, I can just quit SL but for many else it can be and is pain. Goodbye?

...for me things got once again only worse. I cant anymore group distribution and normal store sales separate. Both have same description /type: mkt2 item purchase. And I mean basic account transactions list , not marketplace transactions, in marketplace I dont even know if distributions seen anywhere at all..maybe they are but not used it much. Before distribution type was named different. This means that I cant get those separated in reports as reports have to be done self as marketplace reports are worth nothing. Not big problem for me but for someone else could be a disappointment. Also still cant see name of item sold but only item number which has no meaning..just a running number..what sense? I also tried to do things clear for me to be enabled. After tutorial which I succeeded by 9/10 I was told I am allowed. But after that I have no idea how to enter even sandbox 0..for example..it says that I have no access there. I mean normal grid. And there was told to "update billing info"...why should I update it if its ok. Anyway I am as lost as can be;) My profile says:payment info used...whatever it means. Payment info in file..what does it mean..what file.. So clear all thing to me like I were newbie;)

Lot advices for you here and all so true. So think twice before make any decision. The most important advice sure is: dont buy totally "new" sim but buy it from marketplace or other way from someone who already owns a sim and is quitting it. Its not at all "worn" or "used" sim technically. Its just the same as new sim and price will be less than half of that 1000 dollars..like 450 or so. After purchase you need to pay some kind of transfer fee to LL for making that change work. Anyway read all these valuable advice messages in your thread and learn lot that way.

My point of this all whining and raging and crying is that NOBODY..and I mean NOBODY..should say that NOBODY thought something was not good idea. We can sure all state our own besserwissercomments, but telling that EVERYBODY agrees that..means underestimating of rest of community. Anyway its maybe better not to do anything while there is bugs and problems, only wait until there is none. For example search problems, I also want that all my items are always on first page and others on next page if even there. But maybe google is not so clever thing.And sure there is a lot to develop in marketplace reports for example but I suppose Brooke is not the only if at all programmer who working for them. Anyway raging and cursing sure been always good idea to talk about things. Anyway it can look funny;)

Hi..maybe many possible reasons. But most often it happens if items are in wrong category. Check first if you can find more correct category and that they dont belong just to top level category only,like to Apparels.

Thanks for info. I already wondered one even triple purchase which I anyway could realise without any grid report also. So seems that I can already make refunds as customers seem to agree with problems also. It happens..sometimes for many other different reasons also like crashes and lags and missunderstandings.. Sure transfer items can be bit complex in situtations like that..thats why we dont use them;) Dont worry be happy:p

Quite a whining thread again. First deal of that test dash deal and worth so many cries. Sure anyway good to know what could be better as testing just started. Is it only me or havent they really got yet fixed this mess which started after mess with Display Names: Whe you have chat messages logged, there will be *.txt file for all avatars you have talked with. But the mess is that nowadays still there will be randomly 2 files updated. Either:"Mister Sister.txt"..or then "mister sister".txt And that happens also with avtars who never even changed DIsplay name. It uses sometimes original name or then "new original name" which is that name.name And i am not using any third party viewer just to avoid additional problems. Sometimes when I talk with someone and close the chat window and when it soon opens again by new message, I cant anymore see previous messages but lot older messages if even them. So also viewer chat window chat history gets messed up for that mess. Annoying anyway when sometimes try to find some convo and messages are split to 2 files. Need check both and maybe to check whole convo you have to read both files same time. Sure ok for multichatters but I dont like this feature so much;)

Sure would be interesting to test this new feature which anyway is welcome as compared to current "box-dropping" delivery which has several ways to fail and new system wont have that same problem at all. And sure cant but hope strength for all who paritcipate it as it really need lot work with details beafore all problems solved. I dont dare take part in it as I dont have patience enough and it would only mean that I would be one of those bitchers very soon;) And so normal to see in every thing in sl that there always is those who dont do anything but bitch and whine about everything. Knowing that Linden Lab has created overwhelming best digital world for rl like earning possibilities. And even some other grids like sl they also use same open sourse system and not created anything original and better from scratch. Sure its possible to go then even to those grids to play with Zingo machines there and hope they some day have grown up enough to offer some competition.

I once wonderred the same until I found SL transaction viewer created by Freddie Bleac and it sure is a must for now. Unfortunately it is not any open sourece but need to pay still maybe about 6000L. But it is made for sl transactions and you can automatically add new transactions to it without messing with spreadsheet functions. It also has cool statistics to get best sellers and region sales and so on by one click. Just sad that such clever products wont be enough popular as most want everything free. And I would be pleased to find some other to try and pay for it after testing it . Messing with excel to build enough clever features like in this ready made software is a pain if only make it for yourself. Before I also used excel but it was ridiculous poor way to get different kinds of reports and statistics and sort transactions many different ways. STV has just one database where all work is done and as told for me it has been a MUST. And I am not at all any kind of advertiser of it knowing that most of us want freebies if sales in sl not enough . And even I dont soon need it much but anyway;)

haha..invented new cool term for this problem. I just mean that viewer2 STILL seems to mess with 2 chat history folders...this started of course when those display names were launched. There is 2 folders for everyones chat history and even IM window mess between them. I just got this annoying as I had closed current IM and then when I got new message, I couldnt anymore read back previous messages. These threads seem to be more popular sure than any JIRA official bug reports. And I wont even try put my comments there as impossible for me find if one problem is already there and also because need to have precise perfect english or comments could be like with inworld creators "seems you dont know english at all so go to learn it and come back ;)" just kidding..:p

oh....thanks a bunch..except that seems that I have all "show--" debugs TRUE which sound like this feature..so..still wonder if it just doesnt work. Same problem when change item texture..sometimes it updates inventory to current texture name but mostly it always disppears and show nothing

Is it only me wondering this or something wrong in my setting but with all older viewers and also some earlier viewer2 viewers there has been a feature: when I have inventory open and take something to it or receive something to it, the inventory will automatically open the folder where item goes so I can see where it is. Now I just take item and wonder then where did it go. Yes, I know I can use recent.So maybe its supposed to use it always. But anyway, it wont open normal inventory to that folder but need to open main folder and next and next and next..to find it. Well..whatever..who cares;)

Yeah. New viewer really has been a huge pain for most of us. I myself have forced myself to use it so that it will not be forced by anyone else later. Anyway third party viewers are also modified from official open source viewer and when there is no more official viewer but this new viewer then maintaining those third party viewers will be more and more complex. Most annoying has been that the interface is totally changed though it has not been much problem ever. It makes many feel that they are worse than newbies and thats not easy to accept;). I have several times been pissed off when cant for example stop animation. Need to be guru to find new locations of old features in menu. Short-cut woud have helped if there had been such. Then for example inventory managing has just the same features as it has always had. There is imho a lot to do but nothing done. Cant even search by creator for examle . Its sometimes impossible find old things from inventory if dont remember name. But often you know the creator but..wont much help. Afaik its not possible..maybe its just me. And now with this new inventory..I cant anymore see inventory "focus" move when I take something back to inventory or receive something. Old feature was that inventory automatically updated view to the folder where item landed. Now need to guess if it went to object, clothing, or where ever its deafult folder is. I only hope this is bug and not a new feature..or dropped feature.

hi Well..I would say NO. As it is not LL issue at all but goes to some more official criminal sections in us. Not maybe FBI but anyway . At least we didnt get any answer ever about our DMCA from dmca itself also so...thats all I can say.

Hi, I am not maybe enough expert in deeding things but will write this anyway. It sure is an advantage to deed the lands as that way you can get bonus land sqm about 10% first and going less when getting more. And items dont need to be shared by group or at least deeded to group. You can allow group to rez same way as if it were not deeded. BUT, if you have set the time limit in land properties for other owner items to get returned, only then they will get lost. Only problem which has been annoying me myself is a feature of object which rez things on ground. If you dont have rezzing rights for group then also your such items, like for example teleporters or dancing ball servers, cant rez anything except if you are online yourself. Somehow such object has same right as you when you are online, but when you logoff, then object will have only rights of its group. In such case group MUST have rezzing rights in land properties. I know this can sound very confusing but so it is also when get that problem. But you maybe dont need to worry about it in most cases.

I found this few days ago when trying to find my customer. Its sure bit scary but anyway amazing work;) Not sure if this already been in Destination Guide but it really is worth it. Well..I suppose that not many ready to reveal their "business-secrets" but at least for me has seemed that new marketplace sucks inworld malls empty. And anyway cant say that it would be worse than xstreet but lot better. At least not anymore complaining about new marketplace so maybe also that is proof of it. Seen also quite a lot malls quitting but so it has been always if they cant make things running. Anyway not good for community and sl life itself if places getting deserted.
