  1. Hey all, I'm having trouble with not being able to avoid the avatar mesh deforming when I try to pose an Avatar for SL, and it shows up in Second Life too and it looks really bad. I attached photos of what the issue is (please ignore the classic body in the avatar screenshots, it was there by mistake, but the problem still persists when the avatar wears the Maitreya mesh body) I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this and how they fixed it? Thank you so much!
  2. Hey everyone. I'm trying to figure out how to use the Catwa Catya Developer kit so that I may create my own eyes for my avatar, but I'm finding all the instructions in the kit to not be very straightforward and youtube searches are fruitless so far. Clarification: I want to create my own eye texture in photoshop and upload it to SL and wear it on my avatars eyes. I have a specific image I want to use already. Anyone know of any tutorials or can help me by giving a brief step by step?
  3. Hi everyone, I'm currently trying to upload NASA's 3D Model of the James Webb Space Telescope to SL. I opened the file in Blender and converted it to .dae. I upload it and it says 'Ship it!' and that everything is all good. Then I click "calculate weights and fee" and I get this MAV BLOCK ERROR... I've attached a screenshot. Not sure why this is happening, wondering if anyone knows of a fix?
  4. Hi, I need to know how a land owner can give an avatar who is a member of their land "officer" status. Thank you!
  5. Thanks so much. My units were set to "None" in Blender and I switched to "Metric" and voila! Problem solved! I haven't been running into issues since. Cheers
  6. Hi, So, I rigged this piece of clothing in Blender 2.64. I exported my avatar's xml file from firestorm and loaded it in Blender to make sure that my piece of clothing fits him exactly. So, everything is fine and the skin weights get fully imported to Second Life, no problem. However, my clothing is slightly bigger once uploaded to Second Life(and of course I can't resize in world seeing that this is a rigged mesh). So here is what I did so far: -tried exporting another xml file from SL, still didn't work. -tried resizing roughly about 20% in Blender, then upload to SL, still no luck! -tried the scale tab, under the "upload options" of the upload mesh model tool of SL, no luck either! I should also mention that in my previous trials to uplaod, there was never a problem with the size for the same avatar and the same piece of clothing. I'm out of options here and I would appreciate your help. Thanks
