  1. This is a simple video, filmed at one of my favorite places on SL..one of the most beautiful  IMO.. Majilis Al Jinn is an Arabian fantasy sim that has exquisit detail and alll the colors of the desert.. The song is Marco Polo by Loreena McKennitt..very lovely, indeed..The video stars me..of course ..smiles.. I hope you enjoyl

  2. @ Umcommon.. your pictures are just so hauntingly beautiful.. You avi is a knock out :matte-motes-little-laugh:

  3. All my stuff.. my wonderful stuff.. I love Nimue's stuff.. What's it gonna be like without all my glorious STUFF!!!??? :matte-motes-oh-rly:

The New and Improved SL platform will be like going to avatar heaven??? I've always been told that you can't take it with you... sighnsss.. I'm really going to miss my fabulous, wonderful stuff... But not to worry. The Second Coming won't take place for a long while and we won't ascend to the lofty realm of the New SL for a millennium or two (SL time) ... me thinks :matte-motes-big-grin-wink:

  4. Hi Lana

Is this an actual group for anyone or for the 'girls' that work at the club? Sounds like you're advertizing for the Monarchy.

I looked at your other posts and they are all about that club.. so, I'm thinking that this is probably the wrong forum to promote your business in the guise of  'sisterhood'..

good luck and have fun. :matte-motes-big-grin:

I agree with you, Nancy.  I thought Peaches' post was pretty funny.. I appreciated her humour with a generous splash of sarcasm. Not everyone who posts silly nutty stuff is a whiner who needs to get over some cruel second life misfortune.. :matte-motes-shocked:

I'd like to draw a distinction here. Peaches employed satire, Nancy employed sarcasm. There's a

Jeeezzzzz.. what a know it all! Thank you, Maddy, for that astute observation! :matte-motes-wink-tongue:

  7. Thanks so much for your sweet words, Jazleen.. I love looking at this thread. It's like being invited into someones world. You can sometimes see how an avatar sees their sl world. When I look at these lovely pictures, it helps to paint a picture of the person behind the avatar.. hope that didn't sound too crazy!!  :matte-motes-nerdy:

  8. You guys look great! I was looking back on the first few pages of this thread..and its amazing how far avatar appearance has come! Styles and fashions change just like in RL

I haven't posted on this thread for quite awhile..so here is my latest offering. Just a simple desat image..a post apocalyptic gypsy..I hope you enjoy :matte-motes-little-laugh:

  9. Hi H. Mike..

Have you tried making 'outfits'? Thats about the quickest way to change your clothing.

     Working with outfits

You can save your clothing and attachments as an outfit (a folder containing everything you wish to wear). When you drag the outfit folder onto yourself, you'll instantly switch to the avatar shape, clothing, and/or attachments in the folder.

Creating outfits is a great way to organize your inventory and makes it easy to quickly change your avatar's appearance.

    To create an outfit:

    1. Attach or wear the clothing items you wish to make inito an outfit.
    2. Right-click your avatar and choose My Appearance.
    3. Click the Save As button.
    4. Enter the name of your outfit in the dialog box.
    5. Click OK.
    6. Your new outfit folder will be located in your Clothing folder in your inventory.

Making a new outfit creates an inventory link to each original inventory item in the outfit. This allows you to create multiple links to a single item. A link is shown in italics with the word (link) beside it. Each link is entirely dependent on an original item, and any changes to that item will affect all links.

If you copy an item and then modify it, links created to each copy are independent.

    Using your inventory

I hope this helps ease some of your frustration! :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2:

    You really can never tell.

It also strikes me how EVERY AVATAR is ridiculously attractive! I wonder how many ugly people exist in the whole of Second Life!

    ... bit suspicious!
    xD

    Hi Mike and welcome! :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2:

Being fat and ugly is a lot of fun on SL too.. After a while, all the beautiful avatars become quite boring IMO.. I have a dumpy fat avatar with curlers in her hair and a bottle of Jack in her hand. I don't use her all of the time, but, it's fun to mix it up.. makes ppl smile because its such a shock after being around good looking avatars all of the time.. :matte-motes-wink-tongue:

    Have fun!

  11. Hi Kya182.. welcome to the forum :matte-motes-bashful-cute-2:

Are you wanting a fat shape?

I have a fat shape that I made for my avi when she's in a trailor trash mood.

There are fat mesh avis on marketplace and big and beautiful shapes too.

  13. It's been qite a while since I peeked in on this thread! Damn, there's a bunch of hot avatars here!

Wow, Neal.. love the new look.. I really like the stubble on your avatars face.. He looks rugged and delish :matte-motes-delicious:

Here's Nim at one of her favorite sims.. Kowloon has so much atmosphere and is a great place for picture taking. I'm usually a blue jeans and protest t shirt sort of woman, but, Kowloon brings out the bad school girl in me sometime.  I've been doing some ad modeling lately for a clothing creator. These are a couple of those shots.
