  1. Firestorm 4.6.9 is still usable and available on the older downloads page on the wiki.
  2. There have been a lot of changes since the 4.6.1 release. You can go to the wiki (there is a link to it in the help menu in the viewer) and see the release notes. There is also a link to the class schedule as well. The classes can help you learn about the various preferences and features. Also there is an open Q&A after the classes where you can ask pretty much anything.
  3. 4.6.9 40478 was never an official release I can only assume you meant 4.6.1.40478. As for why they didn't inform the users, well they did. There was a blog post that went out a week ago (see http://www.firestormviewer.org/blocking-version-4-6-1/ )
  4. Just a guess here but I'd say you're using AMD/ATI graphics. There is a problem with the latest drivers and seeing rigged mesh. See the bottom section on http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/ati .

  6. Seen a lot of this since the maintenance. It seems that it is related to some regions. My advice is this. TP to someplace that voice os known to be working properly ( http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Phoenix%20Firestorm%20Support/250/6/4001 works ) , disabale voice and then relog there. Once logged in wait a couple minutes for things to rez and then enable voice. That said if you can get your home region restarted that "should" also solve the problem.
  7. As long as you downloaded the viewer from a legitimate source then yes it is a false positive.
  8. That is a known issue on the 4.6.7 release. Please do a clean install of the new 4.6.9 release and you should be able to see web profiles again.
  9. My guess is that you have icloud installed. See http://wiki.phoenixviewer.com/icloud_issues and the LL Jira on the issue. (there is a link to that Jira on the wiki page.
  10. Hi,, I suspect you need to lower your bandwidth. Try with it set to 500. Contrary to popular belief having bandwidth set high is not always a good thing. Hope this helps.
