Highlights from the Second Life Destination Guide - 11/07/2013

Just a pity you guys never update it. 4 emails, and a new listing for Muirsheen Durkin to change it and nothing, long lists of dead destination spots, even more where the destination has completely changed...

Well i signed up for premium to use the sandboxes, and then less than 2 hours after i sign up you announce 50% off the quarterly.
I';m gonna end up cancelling again and never going premium.

Improving our Lines of Communication with the Community
A group blog by Secondlife in General
Ok...
I rarley visit this mess of a "forum" because for someone like me who is visually impaired its an absolute nightmare to navigate in.
The part that interests me is about "User Groups". After reading through this i find no way to find out how to join one of these groups. Essentially what LL have said in this blog post is that once again a select and special few will steer the bulk of SL into a direction THEY want to go and sod the rest of us?
So...the decisions and ideas of a select few once again steer Linden Lab.
How are the visually impaired folks like myself who are finding Second Life and this joke of a "communication software" Jive junk supposed to be represented in this seemingly closed "User Groups" where only the select are allowed to join, V2 is all but impossible for some visually imparied folks to use.
I'm hardly in this blog cause its too hard to read and is a pain to navigate in, if any Linden Lab employees wanna comment, ya can reach me inworld, Victor1st Mornington is the name...

Making Strides to Improve our Customer Support Services
in Inworld
A group blog by Secondlife in General
Ohhhhh look, someone else who thinks the ENTIRE second life economy revolves around LESS than 10% of the grid members.
The vast buik of the inflow of cash comes from the basic members like myself who co-own sims rented from other members. Look at the majority of the big clothing manufacturers and builders...again, basic accounts.
Tell ya what, we'll just all leave, cause according to you, LL would survive just fine on premium members only...LMAO!

Making Strides to Improve our Customer Support Services

Yes, im with Mari on this one.
Yet another slap in the face of basic account holders by Linden Labs..."self help", yeah, right. So even though I spend cash in SL, run a rental business, co-own a couple of sims i still get virtually no support and now it seems even LESS support after October 13th.
So according to what Vogt said above it seems LL thinks that basic members dont own land, dont own business and dont contribute anything to the SL economy.
Yet another slap in the face from Linden Labs and another reason I won't go premium since the labs is now being staffed by Linden's who have completley and toally lost touch with the user base...

Nice work Jack and team...
There was a multitude of people who used that site from the World of Warcraft community, including some VERY big guilds who used AU as a means of communication. Linden Labs and Second Life is now more loathed than ever within World of Warcraft's larger guilds, the same "big money spenders" that you folks in LL are trying to entice into SL.
Those same people are now branding Linden Labs "vultures", and that word is about the only PG rated word i can use in this blog, the fan run and official WoW forums are ripping LL to shreds, same goes for some of the fan run EvE online forums...and when fan forums react, the print media takes up on it, or didnt any of whats left of the marketing folks in LL realise this?
Be expecting PC Gamer magazine and several other gaming print magazines to pick up on this story and tear shreds into whats left of Linden Labs pitifull and meagre reputation...cause guess what Jack, PC Gamer, and several MMO magazines had GROUPS in the site you just shut down, and those groups was very active!
