    Tate, what you want to do, is click on the main part of the boat, or the largest single part and go into edit mode. While it is highlighted, hold down your "shift" key, and select all of the other parts of the boat, making sure they are all highlighted as well. Once ALL parts are highlighted, they will move as a group.
