  1. I think I've seen that cat before... isn't Pep his name?
  2. Unscheduled Website Maintenance [Posted 9:02 AM PDT, 17 April 2015] We are performing unscheduled maintenance. While the maintenance is in progress, some residents will be unable to access the password change option on secondlife.com. Please check back here for updates. http://status.secondlifegrid.net/2015/04/17/post2518/
Bonne chance! https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Technical/About-Windows-7-and-Second-Life/qaq-p/1474183

  6. Louane, j'ai à peu près épuisé toutes les solutions... Je ne sais plus quoi vous dire. Pouviez-vous vous connecter normalement avant ? Quel ordi (et OS) utilisez-vous ? Merci de me donner plus de détails.
  9. Cool video, Maddy! It's nice to see such a yummy Torley watermelon! Have a great Wednesday!
  10. Good morning Hippie and all! What a lovely peak of the week we're having here in Paris! 27°C is not usual in April! I hope you all have a great sunny and shiny day too! Hugs you!
  11. Your question is not a bother, it's just posted in the wrong section of these fora. We are not allowed to promote a specific product or store in the Questions & Answers section. You may want to ask this on "your avatar" or "wanted" subforums. https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Your-Avatar/bd-p/YourAvatar https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Wanted/bd-p/Wanted
  12. To change your choice of Linden Home type, you must abandon your current Linden Home and then register for a new one from your dashboard, exactly the same way you chose the first one. To abandon your Linden Home, stand inside it: Choose World > About Land and click the General tab. Click Abandon Land. (Don't forget to pick up all your own stuff back to your inventory before doing that) After you confirm your choice, the land is removed from your account. Now if you wish, you can register for another Linden Home. Warning: Please use this reasonably: if you abandon and choose a new Linden Home five times in 24 hours, you are temporarily blocked from choosing another. You will need to wait 24 hours before registering again.
  13. Voilà de quoi démarrer.... Bonne chance! https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Base-de-connaissances/D%C3%A9marrage-rapide-dans-Second-Life/ta-p/1239695
  14. Thanks for your input Karen. The thing is, I'm not even sure I will use the official viewer anymore since I have discovered Alchemy. The UI is incredibly comfortable and handy. You don't even have to enable advanced or developer menus to access debug settings, statistics and FPS. It's all here in the toolbar buttons and (for FPS) at the top right of the screen. Plus, it's remarkably stable (as I mentioned, not ONE crash since I started using it about a month ago). My FPS almost never goes under 20 or 26, even in crowded places, and jumps as high as 60 to 70 in quiet places. I must say I am totally impressed! I don't know exactly much about these developers, but LL can seriously worry with such an awesome competitor!
  15. The official SL viewer's current version must be one of the worst I've seen in years! Crashing issues, weird "no link" messages, lag etc... Yuk! Until Linden Lab releases a decent version, you may want to use a third party viewer. The most recent releases of Firestorm, Alchemy or even Singularity are way much more stable than LL's viewer at the moment... http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory
  16. Once you have found a shop inworld, you have to know how to set the prices and permissions on your items. Going into details here would be too long, but the link below should teach you about all you need to be ready to sell your stuff. It's not really very different from selling on the marketplace, besides the fact that you have to actually REZ your items inworld. https://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Selling-objects/ta-p/700143 And, depending on what you are willing to sale, make sure your shop has sufficient prims to display your products. Also check the traffic in the about land menu: the higher the better. A shop in a low traffic place won't help much to boost your business.
  17. Answering your edit: here's what the Alchemy UI looks like. In this example, two HUDS are active + the chat and IM window open.
  18. La réponse à un ticket de support demande bien plus d'une journée ! Comptez plutôt 4 à 8 jours avant d'avoir une réponse.
  19. I've been using Alchemy viewer for over a month now. Very simple and pleasant UI, nice graphics, toolbar buttons added to access directly to the debug settings and preferences.... And, NOT ONE crash so far! If you want to give it a try... https://www.alchemyviewer.org/
  20. Good morning Hippie, Maddy, Jo and all! Sorry I didn't show up this weekend. To start with, my Mac just BURNT (litterally!!!) at 7 AM on Saturday, with sparks, smoke and all! So I went off to the nearest Apple store and bought a brand new one (I'm pretty happy the old one died, actually... hehe ). As this put me in the mood for spending more money, I also bought a few clothing, new shoes and got a new hair cut! As you can see, I'm incredibly pleased with the result. Hugs to all! PS : More amazing resemblances in this link: http://www.buzzly.fr/le-top-des-chiens-qui-ressemblent-a-d-autres-trucs.html

  22. These "pyramids" are not screwers, they indicate that you're having problems to see MESH objects. See the recommendations in these threads and make sure you use a mesh-enabled viewer. https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Viewers/how-do-i-set-my-graphics-so-that-i-can-see-mesh-items/qaq-p/1459669 https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Avatar/Why-can-t-I-see-mesh/qaq-p/1443955
  23. Good morning Hippie! That's a lovely peek of a lovely week: Spring is REALLY here at last! It smells "pretty", LOL! Hugs you all!
