By this I mean, is it possible to save a complete avatar - skin, shape, hair, make-up, clothing, footwear etc. I can't say I've seen a way but that doesn't mean much for me, so I apologise if the answer is blazingly obvious. Thank you xx Jaz

I don't condone this kind of laziness normally but Im in a good mood so here goes: Remove: Belt (or belt with sash if you just want the belt) Jacket L&R Sleeve Jacket (if you leave on Jacket, shirt L&R sleeves - 1 item) Hood (or hood and ruffles if you dont want ruffles) shirt sleeves L&R (you don't need them if you have a jacket on) Shirt (as there is one in the Jacket item) shirt ruffles (you have 3 lots on...detach the 2 separate ones) maybe A or B for the skirt (depending on what each actually gives you) When putting on outfits don't just add outfit, read through them first. As has been said with such complex outfits all creators (who frankly if they are making this intense costumes are neither lazy or careless) give you different options. I think you've been here long enough now to know this and wonder if you aren't just having a laugh at all those who help you. If so, laugh away...

From Splatulated :adblock+ i dont see ads period. I too use adblock and it works wonders with ads, but Market Place items are not classed as ads so you would see them perfectly well - as I do..

Hi I moved all my house and garden stuff from my rental land to a skybox. Its in the same place just higher up but since I moved I've noticed I'm having a lot of problems ie chat lag, inventory lag, rezzing problems, have to keep logging out and logging back in. When I was grounded I didn't have any of these problems and I don't know if it's just SL being SL, something up with Firestorm, sim problems. I've cleared my cache but nothing seems to work..any suggestions? Thanks. Jaz

Welcome both to the forums and to SL. I have one little piece of advice...change your introduction to you. Stating first and only that you'd like women who don't over-react to sex talk and personal stuff. You're more likely to get women interested if they know something about you, or the kind of people you like to hang out with. Just not so sure that sex should be your first thought. Good luck x

I use it all the time. When I left SL for a while I deleted all of my LMs - so now I'm starting to re-build it and use it every day for clubs, shops, places of interest, romantic places etc.

I too came back after a much smaller break away (only18mths or so) and have had to start again. I find people to be hit and miss - and have had mixed results with approaching people to say hi, but I usually look at their profile, what they are wearing and comment on that usually with something I think is cheeky, funny, cute, droll etc and hope for the best. Only a couple of times has the person not responded, but some answer and that is it, no further conversation but that's fine by me. However, when it comes to someone coming onto my home area I have a note in the land comments that quite clearly states I have a security orb - if Im not at home it will be on and you will be kicked but if I am home and it is off I expect a level of decency and for the person to at least come and say hello. If you continually come to my land and say nothng you will be put on the land ban list and my orb ban list. My home has taken me hours of rl time to get just right and a lot of money and I don't appreciate people thinking that they can use my stuff without my permission. I do think though that you need to give the current SL a little more time. It's not easy and even i've wondered why i'm bothering and then the next day i'll speak to someone who reminds me what its all about.

Hey all, I've just put down a new house, its finally furnished but i have noticed that the walls seem to move yet this didn't happen with my old house and I'm not sure why - am I missing something? Thanks xx Jaz xx

Could it not be something as simple as it being the last week of the month and people who get paid at the end of the month are using their rl money in their rl, rather than putting it into SL.

I have to agree on this one. I was a Police Officer and one night got stuck in the middle of a fight between 2 guys and 3 bouncers (and yes, I did come off worse being a diddy woman) but eventually we got the 2 civilians into the van - and only then discovered that the one in the middle of the fight had only returned from Afghanistan earlier on in the week so when the bouncer came up behind him his instinct was to fight, which he did. However - when he realised that he had kicked the bejesus out of me, he never blamed his Army career, he was so apologetic and sorry for what he'd done, he hadn't realised I was a woman otherwise he would never have attacked me. Now he was a hero in my eyes. And no-one knew where he'd come from until the end of the fight. Sean, your comments are rambling and switching too frequently to make any sense to anyone. You got banned from one club. There are hundreds of clubs out there that you can go to, this one doesn't have to be what decides your thoughts of SL. It is an amazing place, with a whole load of wonderful people in it, some not so but that's life. Put this behind you and move on else you're going to end up with only bitterness, and that is no way to live. Enjoy SL for what it is and don't expect it to mirror RL, because it never will - except that there are rules, there are Terms of Service, which we all sign up for on entering. I don't use either photoshop or the other one...so I just have basic pictures taken from inworld to my computer. I've been playing around with them but I'm still getting the same size little photo, no matter how big I make the original photo. Am more baffled now than I was...any adivce for a technophobe..thanks x

Have you tried logging in to say, 'sea', rather than your current location. I've seen it suggested here a number of times so it might work.

I know that certainly in the UK any club, shop, amusement park - pretty much anywhere that is public can ban without notice and without reason. The only ones not allowed are civil offices, banks etc. Is a constant cause of consternation but it is the way it is. If the owner says you're banned, you're banned and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. I always assume anywhere in SL can ban me if they want, but I just don't play with the drama children..so never draw any attention to myself.

My old picture needed updating, which I did. I deleted the old one and followed the instructions on how to put a new picture in, but as you can see it is only a tiny pic and doesn't fill the whole square. Can someone tell me where I've gone wrong and how to rectify it. Thanks xx Jaz

Ive never added to this with a picture, but when I came back to SL after 18mths away nursing a broken heart I decided Jaz needed a new look for a new start and I think I've just about got her there...cept I seem to have one boob bigger than the other...go figure xxxx

I appear to have blocked a certain club's music. I can't remember doing it, but now I don't know how to unblock them. A friend suggested I copy their music details and put it into my own house but this hasn't worked. (that probably doesn't make sense...sorry). So my question is, how do I unblock music in a club so I can hear it again. Singing to myself is making my ears bleed so please help. Thank you

I live in what I think is a secluded area, only 3 pieces of land and none are commercial yet I still seem to get a lot of traffic dropping in - including some idiot griefer who hit all 3 of us the other night. I have a security orb, it is attached to the outside of my house and is not hidden. I initially had a 50 second warning until the griefer incident when my land owner recommended knocking it down to 10 seconds, and also because one person in particular seems to be getting on my land regardless of being on the land ban list and my orb ban list and no-one can tell my why. However, if I was in the middle of commercial land, that would be different, as I've done it myself, gone wandering on land classed as ;public' only to step onto someones land that is private, yet slap bang in the middle of public..

I often look through these threads, I find it fascinating that so many people can make their avatar's look so damn gorgeous so on that note. Absolutely gorgeous pic.

I'd make a lousy host so wont waste your time with that, but will most definitely be stopping by - love finding new clubs to go to, although I'm not even going to guess what the hell Industrial, Aggrotech, EBM and Dub Step are (ooh showing my age here) lol

According to my ex-husband - he did..and he was god, but he also thought he was a super stud muffin till I informed him if I managed to count to 3 before he finished i'm sure his girlfriends were equally grateful...

I had the same problem a couple of days ago. Every time I tried to drag it to the floor I kept getting the messaage 'can't rez here as land is full' and as it was my land I knew that was wrong. I tried wearing it and like you got a bag but no option to open but eventually I found that if I wore it, and left clicked the bag a folder appeared in my inventory. It took me endless attempts on this - I even went to an empty sand pit and got the same messages so I'd suggest, check your inventory for a folder you don't recognise or try again wearing the item, left click it and if a message appears on your screen to accept or decline hit accept - but mine didn't even give this option so be wary of this one.
