I paid a couple of fleeting visits to other forums but didn't feel at home there so I didn't stay. On the other hand, I almost finished my new building project which started out as a French chateau and suddenly became a Tuscan villa at the end. Why do my buildings always seem to have a will of their own to become a totally different thing from what I had in mind ? However, I'm quite happy as it is and ....welcome back to everybody into the new SL Forums ! :smileyvery-happy::smileyvery-happy:

Domanda un pò sintetica. Ho avuto questo problema qualche tempo fa e l'ho risolto utilizzando un altro Viewer. Che Viewer stai utilizzando ? Riesci ad entrare in SL e sembri una nuvola o non riesci del tutto ad entrare ?

I can't help but wonder what would happen if either on April Fools Day, or Halloween, everyone dressed up like Philip Linden's original avatar? No name using any form of "linden" in it. Just the look of the avatar. Would any of the new residents even have a clue what it might be about? Would the older (by signon date dear) see it as anything other than being intended to celebrate the day?

I don't think the issue is the "appearance", Jenny. Issue is strictly connected to the use of Linden name. I even think Philip Linden would rather be amused at seeing an army of Philip(s) having a good time

It's exactly the same for me. Although till a little while ago Slurls operated perfectly on my V1.23, now they open only with V2. I have been trying uninstalling and reinstalling 1.23 to no avail. Let's hear if someone can shed some light on this little mystery.

I'd like to seize this opportunity to remind all newcomers (aka Noobs, newbies, etc) that there's a Knowledge Base (via the Help command) to be consulted for simple, basic questions. I found it most useful. Isn't there a certain laziness around ?

I know I already did it in the "old" GD, but as there are new forumites, I'd suggest to read Loulou Paquot's profile (too long to copy & paste). It still makes me laugh no end. She's a true artist ! :-)
