Is there a way to increase the font size for the various UI windows? I may be just missing it but I can't find anything.

This machine is a BEAST. On Ultra and DD to 512 and still getting 70 fps in my yard.

Thank you for your help! I will think about and share your points with the spouse. It will definitely be on wifi. I always raise the back of my lappy off the hard surface and so far don't usually have too much overheating issues. But it's definitely something I'm concerned about so thanks for that too. If I lived alone I'd definitely be hardwired and on a desktop, for the reasons you mention. As it is, I really don't want to contend with a separate monitor.

Been scared to post this because I'm clueless in this area, but I need help. I need a laptop so I can be social in the living room but can move to another room when needed. I want SL to be pretty again. Spouse will buy me what I want, but I need to know what that is. I want to be able to use all or most of the fancy lighting etc features on my land and non-crowded areas, with a decent frame rate and DD above 64. I understand there could be some settings that just aren't (shadows?) practical for most situations. I use Henri Beauchamp's Cool VL Viewer and I probably won't be using Gimp or CorelDraw, etc while SLing. Ideally, it would be quiet, so the TV can be heard over it, but I know that may be impractical. This was suggested- Legion 7i Gen 7 Intel (16") with RTX 3070 Ti. Do I need this much? More? Different? LEt me know if you need more info, will do what I can to answer. Please be gentle, I'm doing my best. -Oni
