Yes, the final saved photo closely resembles what you see on the right. I think I need to compare sizes vs the 2 viewers, etc. In Firestorm, the preview seems to have DoF, but saves without DoF.
Just talking this out is helping. I guess I truly don't understand photo size and how that has been affecting my pics.

lol
I've done that in Firestorm (turned on DoF too much) to capture a better DoF in the photo. Black Dragon typically cooperates without the overcompensation. So having this issue in BD now made me decide to tackle the sort again. OK, maybe I am taking pics that are way too large.... usually I do 6000x6000 and then crop/tilt them, etc. I didn't even realize this could be the issue.
So it sounds like I need to take the same pic in different sizes and find the sweet spot. I'm on a laptop with a 16" monitor.
Thank you so much sandi.

When I am taking photos, I see the screen as I would like everything, but the photo saves differently. Note the left side's depth of field slightly blurred, but missing in the actual saved photo. The same is true for the subtle leg shadows, which then appear very obvious in the saved photo. What am I doing wrong? Is it a setting? This is out of Black Dragon, but similar things happen in Firestorm. Thanks for any suggestions.

Nah, it's the look of those morph-like smiles which you cannot simulate within SL.
I never suspected it was a morph. Perhaps...

It is no SL tool, but an app for your mobile, as far as I know. Whether it's FaceApp or something else I cannot say for sure.
This might also be photoshopped.
No it can't be an app. It's something within SL. Hmm. My Lelutka head smile is rather creepy.

Can you please tell me what device you use for the avatar smiles? Thanks!

I've seen a lot of photos with avatars smiling. Is this a HUD?

That's awesome. You mentioned the blender classes before. Where can I find this?

The balcony on top of the sauna I mostly made from prims. The sauna walls are prims too.
The stairs is mesh "Escalier 1prim" created by jed888 ( https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Stair-mesh/6959940 ). I added the railing because the stairs came without it.
The balcony at the house entrance is prims, the support mesh columns I took from one pergola (the pergola is at the back of the house and on the pool side too).Ah OK. Lots of building.... You did fantastic!

Maybe their meeting is about creating a wait list. (I can dream!). I can generally catch release times, but I feel bad for people who have no chance due to work or time zones.

No home yet. Every day, I tell myself that I'm ok without one. Next thing I know I'm refreshing the page.... just to see. I wish there was a waiting list. I guess my clicky finger is just not fast enough to click that teeny acceptance box on Page 2. I've missed about 7 so far.

I can think of one way to get the behaviour you want, but it's "off-label" use of inventory. However I think it should be safe to do. No guarantees though - if your inventory coughs up a hairball, not my fault
There are certain system folders in inventory that are hidden. One such folder is the "Merchant Outbox" folder.
This folder is no longer used for anything since the Marketplace moved over to VMM (Viewer Managed Marketplace) years ago & the folder should be empty. That sounds like the best workaround I'm going to get! Thank you Whirly!!

It would be wonderful to hide/unhide inventory folders. I'm well organized with all essentials to the top of my inventory, but it's be even better to omit items from view.
-
Yes I've done that.
Wouldn't hiding folders be better? A girl can hope, I guess....
-
Is there anyway to hide folders in your inventory? I'm still holding onto some older items, but would rather not see them in my everyday search. Can I hide them, until I want them?

If you get the error page, just refresh THAT page (sometimes multiple times). That has worked for me and for others that I know.
Good luck and congrats to all that were successful today.
Thanks! Here's to hoping!

Saw the magic word, clicked it. ERROR SCREEN. Not "you missed it". I go back, it's still there! Wow! Clicked it. ERROR. Repeat 10x until locked out. Am I getting closer? lol
