Excuse my ignorance, but it sounds like you are attempting to make a column for a building. There is a way to make it with 5 prims and not actually have a land impact of 5 prims. It would be either an impact of 2 or 3 prim. If that is what you are attempting to do, please let me know and i can make it for you inworld.

Alot of that depends on who you are building for. Tinies building dimensions are completely different from normal AVI's. Even that is in flux right now. So there is not set standard.

Sounds like a nice project, unfortunatly, its not as easily done in SL as you might think. To do all that texturing properly, whoever is doing the texturing needs to own the building, otherwise, there are restrictions to what they can and cannot do.

If its a few coins your looking for, you can play the realms game. Its easy, G rated, and if you get good, you can make a hundred linden a day easy and have plenty of time to spare. Just search under places for Linden Realms.

I totally agree about speed limiters in the game. However, LL could also use the actions of these cheaters using speed scripts to make some money. Make a competition with no limits on what a person could do to collect crystals. Use a random number generator program to randomly rez crystals of different colors and have competitions between participants as to who can collect the most crystals by quantity of color and/or dollar amount. Charge an entrance fee using RL money only. Payout to winners would be enough to cover their entrance fee in Lindens and maybe a couple of thousand over and above that. Competitions would be timed and when timer runs out, all crystals derez and everyone has to "cash out". There could even be team competitions.

Makeing a cross out of prims is one of the simplest items to build out of prims. If your having difficulty building that; pershaps you should go take some basic building classes first. I recommend the ones at Builders Brewery although there are many groups that do an excellent job also.

I question your ability as an experienced promoter and blogger since you apparantly do not have good spelling skills. You may want to make sure you use proper English, correct spelling, and correct punctuation before posting about your promotion and blogging skills.

Come inworld and play the Linden Realms game that is operated by Linden Labs. Just do a search for Linden Realms in places. You can make 500L in one day if you play for 5 or 6 hours without any breaks.

if you need to make some lindens... play linden realms game.... after a couple of weeks playing you should be able to make 150L in little over an hour easy ....

You may be better off just renting an empty sim and building it out the way you want it. Would require alot of custom animations and scripts for that type of sim. I estimate would take about 2 months from start to finish with a good team of builders, scriptors, and animators.

actually... the griefer did break some laws... bullying on the internet for one... if you get a lawyer... he can supboena LL records and find out who he is in RL and if he is in the USA, you can sue him in civil court.... there is also the denial of use of your property... sock him for a lawsuit for a million bucks... that will shock him... and you can sue him in your local court... so he has to travel... you can also get an injuction against him from logging in to SL at all.... and that can also be say that if you are harrased in any way in SL... his equipment can be seized and gone over by a computer forensic specialist... if he has even contacted someone to harrass you.. he is in contempt of court and therefore the court can issue a warrant for his arrest.... and he can be barred from ever using a computer again....

I use Explorer and have never had a problem viewing MP. Any problems i would think are settings that people use on Explorer. In fact, I have very few problems viewing ANY webpages of any type. Those that I have had I cannot say for sure if its an Explorer problem or something else.

first off... show LL where he is trying to blackmail you... then explain to LL that since they now know he is attempting to blackmail you, they have a choice to make.... ban the guy by any and all means possible.... and if they do not... then they are about to named as an accomplice in the report you file to the police.... and also inform them that you will seek civil action against them for the mental anguish and any and all monetary damages that may have been incurred now and until they ban him by order of the court... and just to make it seem real.. which it could easily be... have a lawyer write the letter... might cost a few bucks... but i bet LL will listen to you from now on..

before you tell people to check out your website ... maybe you should make sure there is something there to see other saying its under construction...

well.. since you obviously know who made the on you found on the web.... you might get in touch with them and let them know you saw what looks like to be the exact same avi in sl ... and of course... telling them where you saw it... if they want to follow up on it then.. thats their business.... telling the guy who MAY have ripped it will just make him go underground so to speak... transfer it to an alt.. and you will have a had time finding him then...

Actually, the type of 3D mesh system that should be integrated into SL should be Google SketchUp or at least based on it. It is simple, intuitive, UI is GREAT; and best of all you do not have to be a rocket scientist to work in it. If none of you have tried it, do so. There is a free version and a pro version. Even if it was the just the free version that it was based on, it would add alot of functinality and build options to SL.
