Hi,if some shapes seem distorted try changing the aspect ratio On my widescreen unless I select 16:9 for the resolution I run at then things also seem a little odd. the automatic aspect ratio doesn't always give best result. Also try moving your camera in closer to your avatar (the camera follow setting) For a while anything square was elongated until I adjusted both settings and had a little play around. BTW. If you're happy with everythiing on medium then good for you. Things look much better on medium than on low which is how I had to use SL until I upgraded. And have a word with your company you're doing your rent to buy with. A lot of companies have no problem with adding something. If something goes wrong they just expect to have the system how it was if they need to repair it. A few years ago I swapped a crappy ati card with an nvidia one,when the pc went wrong they sent a guy out (they wouldn't let me swap it myself) and I just had to put the original card in to prove it wasn't my new one causing the problem. huggs and kisses Mondy

I tend to agree with pheenix and Eternus here. My partner and I are pretty laid back.We don't mind people turning up usually,we like a good chat with our neighbors and explore ourselves.But we don't go into a private home while exploring even if usually we're friendly to someone who walks into our house. We have a security orb. Usually it's just on scan and we set it up so unless someone comes right up to the door even on eject it doesn't go off.And they have time to walk away after the warning. What annoys us is people coming in,clicking on poseballs or our TV and going up the stairs to look at our bedroom. (no darling,wasn't me watching porn..must have had a visitor...ahem..) I mean how rude are people who come in when someones home, does it hurt to say Hi ? Recently she told me about one guy who was really polite and did say "knock knock". Someone like that is more than likely going to be made welcome. So generally we leave it on scan,not worry about it,then just eject someone who comes in while we're there if they're rude. Then we'll leave it on a couple of days in case they come back. Sorry Daqbet but you are wrong. It is possible as myself and other posters have discovered from PERSONAL experience. Try searching on the net and there is plenty of info about it. The trick about being semi invisible is available with certain AO's which just rez your AV under the ground, the Bright AO for example, which is why the tag is still visible. This other trick of hiding from radar is also possible,and is an obvious griefing tool. Yes it is true that an AV can do this. I was alone in the club where I work and someone started talking to me,they could see me,knew where I was and what I was wearing,but I couldn't see them there or on my radar which can scan the whole sim region. They were also able to contact me the next time I logged on even though I hadn't friended them. On that occasion they weren't a particular nuiscance but there is always the mute option of course. huggz and kisses Mondy

I don't care if a male plays a female. Thakfully no one I know cares about who I might be in RL. Only thing I would add is if a Lesbian club says NO men as the club is in SL hey should allow the SL character to be there I've only known one club to ban a friend of mine after looking at her profile and asking about her RL gender. As far as I'm concerned they had no business asking her about her RL anyway and I would have thought demanding her to give RL infor was against the TOS. Huggz and kisses Mondy
