I would be very angry if I abandoned this and only got other inland homes with no good views.

I think that I'll give a chance to this home in Neville, I'm making new friends in the neighborhood, and It's also bored and upset to spend weeks taking and dropping homes. As you well say, I could try with a premium alt, but I can't afford a second premium suscription if the alt find a better home (I recently updated my main account to annual premium)

and who could abandone this, lol?, it's a great spot. Most of the homes arround mine were unreleased, and in ten minutes they had owners.

I don't think that there is a way to know if the home that you receive is abandoned by other people or just new released, only if the house is surrounded by others without delivering...

I've seen a lot of newly created Houseboats, they are inaccessible but appear on the map and they algo have a navigable connection to mainland.

Seems to be very easy to get a nice Linden home now, the new ones and others that people are releasing. Today, with my Linden homes counter restarted, I tried a house boat, and a traditional with nothing special, I guess they would be abandoned because the others homes around already had owner. The third was a victorian, and I got a very different and nice location, right next to a pond. Most of the Victorian are of that style, flowers or trees close to the home. It's also difficult to walk inside the houses, the camera gets dizzy I currently have one, because I wanted to try the custom color changes inside, and for the plot size, but it's also located in one of those streets surrounded by flowers, and the views are not very good. I'll abandon it tomorrow, in 7 or 8 hours or I'll have to wait 24 hours more (that home was my 5th, and I got it about 19 hours ago).

I hope they don't charge us a special fee for breaking the release station I'll take a look on those victorian homes by curiosity, but in the case of leaving my current house, I would only do it for a house boat in a good location.

Yes, I also thought that you said, I could regret of leaving my camper, and spend days or weeks trying to get other home, five times every 24 hours, the feeling can become frustrating I've already had luck with this location, one of the best for a camper if you love sea views and the beach sand as me. The only "bad" thing is that the plot has only 512 sqm, but can live with that

But I could take a look of those victorians without upgrade an alt, I can see when Linden gives them to other people and if I like I would consider abandoning this one.

I really feel curiosity to see what will happen this next week, and if Linden are really going to release those thousands homes that everyone is assuming, or plain to do in the next months, who knows. I would like to give the new homess a chance, but I also think that I've been lucky enough to get the camper that I currently got at http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Comfort/24/46/23 And now on weekend I probably get only abandoned locations worse than mine... I guess the new ones are only delivered during Linden working hours. I'll finally keep this one, which I love, and wait a few days to see how things are going

I'll keep this and let's see what happends the next week, It's a bit boring to keep changing, and it's going to be complicated to get something better.

Today, that I can claim a Linden home again... I'm trying my luck and after ten minutes I got this houseboat: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hammerhead Light/150/2/22 Not bad at all, but I don't know if in other houseboat home sims is happens the same. The statistics show normal values (200 ms ping, 0% packet loss, Time dilation 0.997, sim FPS 45, scripts run 92%), but there are lag when walk, turn or orbit with the cam… Does anyone have this same problema in other houseboat sims?

Thank you for the info, I'm not really a "new citizen", it's the second time that I upgraded to Premium in my 11 years in SL. Although there any other reasons to do, the fact of being able to have one of these new Linden homes was an option to decide. But I have a doubt about own a Linden home and mainland at the same time, I think, if I'm not mistaken, that one of the Linden homes requirements is not have the 1024 sqm bonus in use.

I know that I previously said that I wouldn't use "tools", but I added auto refresh plus to my Chrome and I just started it. But since I need to do other things on the computer, and I don't want to crush Linden's servers too much, I've set the time to 1 minute

I don't intend to collect homes or obtain the best, just a pleasant place without the typical neighbor who doesn't respect the property limits. Obviously as a premium I could buy a plot of 1024 sqm anywhere, but I like these new Linden homes and would like to have one ... before the end of 2019

Wow... I didn't know that people may use so many tools and "tricks" to take advantage of home delivery, omg I don't have enough patience for that, so I'll keep trying in the traditional way.
