  1. Hi just a heads up to check listings after Migration to DD. Last Sunday spent the day migrating all my stuff 750, items to direct delivery. With a few glitches, eventually solved and fighting with a slow web site, I managed to do them all. I checked for unassociated and unlisted items but all seemed fine, and I was pleased with my days work ,all be it frustrating at times. Today I wanted to edit some listings and found a few of those in limbo, not unassocated or unlisted according to my manage inventory list but unavailable non the less. Checking through all the pages I found 150 items similarly in limbo, and was unable to check the tick box( this was blanked out ) to re list in bulk, had to list each again , one by one with the edit menu. So just in case anyone feels all went ok as I did, it is worth looking though all the pages of prducts (if you have a lot) to make sure they are all active, if they should be, and not rely on what the web site tells you is unlisted.
  2. Hi a question on this SVC-7608 "Sims are not visible when diagonally opposed" from somone who knows not a great deal about technical issues. 3 sims in a group in an L shape, 2 on magnum Rc servers and one on a sl server version. One sim is removed (the middle one), leaving 2 in the group, but diagonally opposed no longer can see one another. (left is one on magnum and one sl server version) . Is this a natural occurance, or should diagonally opposed sims still be visible as before. Thanks in advance for any info Chrissy )
  3. Thanks for the info Rolig, I do not have a lot techical knowledge with how scripts works, so this explanation helps me understand the issue. Im a little baffled how this is the first occasion Ive had this problem, and Ive been sending around 3000 notes within about 30 mins regularly. This object is designed to send up to 10,000 items over a short period. There is no mention of the effects of the im limit. I am wondering , you say the object owner will have similar inventory items disabled, would that also happen if the server is in a different region. It is possible I can move it elswhere, if that is any help. Or would the same thing occur, with my objects wherever they are being affected? If so if ive an alt who can operate and send the notes, but the object is still owned by me, will I still be responsible for the sent inventory? Thank you again. Chrissy
  4. Hi , I wondered if anyone can give me some help with regard to a new issue occuring with a mailing list I am using. I have had no issues for the year I have been sending inventory to mailing list members. This last few times, yesterday and today when ive sent notecards, I have recieved this message from Second Life "Second Life: Objects you own in Ekho have sent out excessive inventory and their offers have been temporarily deactivated. The last inventory offer sent was from 'Virtual Impressions Mailing List'. After this message all items which give inventory stop working, including vendors, gift givers, landmarkers and notecard senders. Ive had to re-start the sim to get the objects to give inventory again. Ive updated my kiosk with the latest version, but it makes no difference, I still get the message and subsiquent reaction. I am on a Magnum RC server . I am wondering if anyone has some useful ideas to help me. (I am waiting on assistance from the creator also) Thank you in advance , Chrissy :))
  5. Here is a link to a boot fixer sold on marketplace for 999L https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/BOOT-FIXER-V01/1001615 I think its the same one mentioned in the previous post
  6. Hi Kandi With shoes that have any form of ankle strap it i best to attach to the lower leg and hide the feet from view with an alpha. If the shoes attach to the foot which are also meant to have straps attaching to the leg, never work because the 2 body parts dont move as one and dont look right The only other way is to ue some kind of ankle lock script which fixes the foot so that it becomes part of the leg and moves with it. Your other shoes were fine with the foot attachment becaue they did not quite reach the ankle. Hope that helps
  7. I can only imagine the customer was in a very laggy sim or they themselves were having major lag issues. Im not sure if you have had the experience yourself where you are loading boxes with items and you drag a folders worth into the box, and some items appear immediately, like notecards landmarks and textures, but other items like prims on occasion take longer to all appear? Im sure its the same thing, given time ,less lag or a different location the customer would get all the items in the box more quickly . I do not thing the fact that its delivered via marketplace has much influence.
  8. This happens to me occasionally, but with differnt boxed items, usually when the contents are no copy. Slow rez of some of the objects within the box means that if they move transfer only items to their inventory before its viewed within box first, they get lost forever. For me its a regular occurance , but as a jeweller transfer is essential for gifting. Hope this answers your question a little
