Just because someone does not forget the behaviours of others that were committed in the past does not make them a stalker. Some call it wise. Perhaps you are just peeved that some of us remain who can attest to your character?

The relative price of tier (relative to a basket of RL infotainment goods and services) has been prohibitively expensive for many years. It is now roughly 3-4x what it was in 2006 (relative to a 2015 basket of RL infotainment goods and services). Large numbers of historic sims with amazing builds have been lost. Total land continues to shrink. Virtual worlds are grabbing the world's headlines and Linden Lab is a million miles behind the curve. SL2? No news. No promotion. No media exposure. No excitement. No enthusiasm - what one has come to expect from the folks who couldn't get anywhere with SL1. I remember a number of years ago seeing that someone had sold their Eve Online character on EBay for 6K US. Any chance of me getting near half that for ol' Derek? lol

Hey Derek, be fair, in the US most therapists screw their clients. Teri ((In a manner of speaking.)) You know the difference between an escort and a lawyer don't you? The escort stops screwing you after your dead.

  5. Sad news I received today. Sylva Petrov of Sylva's Animation Factory died on Saturday June 6. Sylva provided me with most of my animations back when I was in the furniture business and also provided encouragement and friendship, eager to stop and chat with me whenever I met her at her store setting out animations on the various topics of the day. From Pips Fetid: It's with a heavy heart that I share this news with you today. On Saturday, June 6, 2015, Sylva Petrov of Sylva's Animation Factory passed away. In December of 2013, Sylva was hospitalized with congestive heart failure. She managed to recover, and was doing well, but on Saturday, she suffered a massive heart attack. Sylva was an amazing and creative presence in our lives, and she will be greatly missed by all of her friends and family. As some of you are aware, Sylva was a single parent of two lovely girls. Per her request, Sylva's Animation Factory will remain open, with proceeds going to her daughters to help with their care. Any questions should be addressed to Pips Fetid.

How is this different than any other 'normal' relationship? Virtual or otherwise.

Teri ((I suppose that by weak they meant that they couldn't do anything about what the strong decided.)) (((Also I thought this was a discussion forum not a help forum. Maybe I should ask what is the difference.))) Sometimes it is difficult to recognize exactly which is which. Especially when one group prefers to be willing sheep. A point I made clear to the one eyed Deb when I reminded her that LL had the privilege of my patronage, which I punctuated by cancelling my three premium accounts and abandoning all my land.

Our girls took the opener over China. http://www.fifa.com/womensworldcup/ Word has it that hosting the World Cup only cost us 1000 gallons of maple syrup and some gift cards to Walmart. A sweet deal.

He did, at least, publish his results and methodology. Only 119 surveys, many of them captured from Forum regulars, which I think skews the results towards long-term, relatively committed residents. Anyway, about half the people who responded claimed to be at least 40 years old. That matches up with my experience in-world, but comparing two small sample sizes is hardly scientific. And of those, a significant number have the emotional age of a 7 year old. A spoiled one at that.

Debbi Linden Director, Customer Support Linden Lab In my opinion a privilege is a right granted, so by joining Sesond Life: Splatulated has been granted the right to participate in these forums, therefore he/she have the same right as everyone else in the Second life forums to ask questions, answer questions or even ramble on about whatever comes into mind. To those that get annoyed about the questions Splatulated asks, when you see a thread made by Splatulated just don't open it and move on to the next one OR open it and get annoyed in a really feel good way:smileywink:. Then you do not understand the concept of privilege as stated by the Director. When you register for the Forums you sign away your Rights. In return you get the privilege of posting here. Admittedly, the statement is out of context. It was taken from a personal communication sent to me when I recently asked Support to intervene on my behalf during my most recent banning. You do not have a right to post here. You have been extended the privilege of doing so which may be recinded at any time at LL's whim. Or more accurately, at Xiola Linden's and her mod team's discretion. Contrary to what Xiola Linden said in a Feedback thread, that if you have an issue on any decisions made by her or her team regarding any post made in the forum, you may contact Support for an appeal, that is not so, according to Debbi Linden the Director of Support. And I quote, "Normally Support does not get involved in Forum issues, as they are managed autonomously from your Second Life account. I see no reason to change that policy, and will continue to defer to the community team’s expertise in that regard." I reiterate, no one has any rights here. Not to freedom of speech or expression, not even the right to make a simple post of a helpful picture. You are members of a totalitarian regime, not a democtratic entity. What ever Constitution you may live under it has no effect here and is null and void. So all the bleating you may do about Freedom and Rights is a waste of bandwidth.

Define nothing? Point well taken. I believe there are now only two humans responsible for the majority of posts in this forum, and they both amuse themselves by enlisting an army of alts to delude the other into thinking there are multiple posters paying attention to their posts. The question is whether perpetrating such mutual delusion is a contribution, or the very opposite. And there are only actually 17 people in SL each operating all the concurrent inworld Avs. Thats why it takes so long to get an answer from anybody when you IM them.

I've only butchered and insulted 50% of the VIPs with weird display names using this method yet I maintain my listenership..... I've long since figured out how to copy the impossible to say Display Names and just blurt them out with an appropriate text Welcome to ????????? and a smile. A what?
