  1. Right a display name is just that, a display. All scripted objects use your account name, frankly im happy of that.
  2. Jenni Darkwatch wrote: 3. Allow people to return prims that overlap into their land. If there's so much as a hair sticking into someone elses land, it should be returnable by the parcel owner. Also, if land is set to no object entry, that should mean not even a hair of a prim should enter. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Would be fine. i have for months now a palm on my ground attached to another palm that is the root prim of the whole object in an abandoned piece of land... Reported.. nothing. LL seems to be unable to even clean abandoned parcels...
  3. Ich möchte mal meinen, das bei den paar Leuten die hier mitlesen Werbung, auch wenn erlaubt, für die Katz wäre.
  4. We sell food-Items, Greeting Cards, Cuddle Gift Toys etc Now some of them are forcibly switched to moderate and adult, and i wonder whats so bad (moderate) about a Cuddle Cow with a "Happy New Year" sign or a "Medieval Meal"...or ADULT on a "Vegetables Serving Tray". This Marketplace seems horribly broken regarding his. UPDATE: Well i found it. We used "Happy new year" in different languages and "año nuevo" means "New Year" in Spanish but forces a change to Moderate... i wonder what filthy thoughts were at work here.... The Medieval Meal had indeed "Gor" as keyword (funnily Kajira is not a moderate word), as had the tray..deleted. Well if i now figure out, why an innocent Sake Tray is Adult, im good. UPDATE2: Copied the whole sake tray text, sentence for sentence, Updating evey time, and see.. nothing changed, nothing Adult anymore... Nice shot at wasting time.
  5. Caitlyn Gothly wrote: I dont like U2 so i cant say i have seen them lol. They are a bit too soft for my tastes. I have seen plenty of other tribute bands though, so i know the score. Cait Well, a bit unfair you use something you never saw, as negative example,or? :smileyhappy: I dont know other "Tribute-bands" but "U2 in SL" is not only a few avatars on a stage and a U2-stream. Its a fully composed stage show, including light, particles, music, and as such, the work of the humans behind the Band Av`s. And i have to say, it was worth every visit so far (They only perform every few months or so), if you like the music. You dont, so you "LoL @ U2 in SL"... Sorry, but maybe inform yourself before you post.
  6. Well, check what interests her. I think, places like Chakryn, Crossing Currents, Baata Beach, Tempura-Japan, Blossom might be nice to hang around. I would at first avoid the big (and frequently very laggy) ballrooms, but if you want, "Bogarts" is usually not as full.
  7. Nope, dosnt work. You need the texture as texture, non-applied.
  8. Insaniac Xue wrote: Well when I created it I was only attempting the first time, no clue about the 32 prim limit, also there are plenty of scripts that allow upto 256 prims, and I thought that script was one of those, as the limit was not mentioned in her product description. Vehicles aren't really my thing anyways, I've tried all sorts of stuff but structures always had my preference. Yes, but "up to 256 Prims" means either its an attachment (that auto-attaches when you sit / seattaches itself when you stand up, maybe mixed with rezzing it inworld to simulate the whole vehicle standing there), or using a nonphysical movement script, e.g., a script that moves the whole linked Primset... let me say, that might work for airships, but for a bike you want it be physical.
  9. Regarding the sculpy being rendered as blob, check your LOD / Level of Detail: 1. Show the “Advanced” menu with Ctrl-Alt-D 2. Select “debug settings” near the bottom. 3. In the blank space, copy and paste the word: RenderVolumeLODFactor 4. Set this to 4
  10. Caitlyn Gothly wrote: Yes I know its role play, but i don't agree they should get recognition as a "tribute band." There's plenty of live artists in second life with talent who are just there to entertain and its not all about the Lindens. LOL @ U2 in SL Well, did you ever see U2 in SL ask for Tips? Actually i think they do a fine job with the show each concert, regarding lights, mood, animations & AVs, did you ever visit?
  11. Insaniac Xue wrote: This would have been my fave bike.. I just gave up scripting it when I couldn't figure out how to make the wheels (3 prims each) rotate correct. Paid $L5000 for a script that doesn't support more than 32 prims, the creator did not mention that in her description, and obviously did not refund (the bike is 98 prims and not even finished). Well, Physical vehicles can have only up to 32 prims.you might use the rest as attachment to your body when seated on the bike. Or try to limit yourself to 32 prims... thats kind of common knowlege among vehicle builders.
  12. Wasnt it said, that the Preferrences what content to view would come, so you dont have to deactivate the filter again every login?
  13. Well, its Friday, i wonder if Moderators are already awake or so, seeing the spammer just starting its 3rd round.
  14. Darren Scorpio wrote: Residents with the last name of Linden are mysterious and their rationale and decision making cannot be explained. Does that count? Nah, thats too bizarre... I guess they are a kind of alien lifeform too strange to comprehend with human senses.
  15. My (not self built) Bolero-Class Yacht "Soulmate" on the Blake Sea.
  16. Invited by a friend i met in another MMO. Thought it horrible at first, and quickly left, as my friend didnt mentor me at all.... But returned 2 years ago, to give it another chance and "learned".
  17. Interesting Question. But yes, i got a few clothes in RL, i do wear often in SL but didnt wear before in RL. Namely here a form of pants and type shirt i rediscovered via SL.
  18. Great shot against all kind of edicational stuff in SL. Sorry, i just dont understand your business politics anymore.... You WANT People to leave? You know, i would love to have a homestead, but no way i would pay for a full Region at THOSE prices first, other grids are just cheaper in that, so what dies Linden have, at PRESENT the biggest grid, do you want to keep being the biggest? Then i would rather make the ground fruitful for educators to set up camp, rather than drive them away.
  19. Whatever happens, Once Linden deems the System ready (if it is, or not), it will be implemented, if you want or not. I think, technically, seen on the Level of your whole Av, and all it owns as 1 Data-File, the Delivery out of an Item you own, or out of your inventory isnt at all so very diffrent.
  20. Sounds somehow like another wannabe dictatorshop, lead by a selfstyled unfailing person (you have taken all under consideration). Sound kind of like another RP System... Oh yeah "Your concerns are familiar to me, and I can assure you, they not worthy of concern."... Sorry, but such a sentence disqualifies you totally. Isnt there already the C.D.S - Confederacy of Democratic Sims (or so), that does the same (albeit not under the Banner of a Star Wars sim)?
  21. Well, we dont have a toilette, but a bath, bedroom, mini-kitchen, livingroom, a boat in front of the house (SL Sailing sims close) and a dog in the backyard. At present, SL is a way to live together with my wife till we can in RL. I enjoy sailing, going to dance, work (have a shop together), even watch a movie together, do things we cant in RL, as exploring, parachuting, diving, sailing, or even go to a restaurant to eat together - with service etc.
  22. I like shirts / jackets with prim collars / rolled arms, or pants with prim legparts, but otherwise, nah, no excessive primclothes.
  23. Well im partial to my brown eyes from SOUL; have brown ones in RL too. Tried a few before, but like these most.
