^^ QFT I closed my FB a long time ago. My husband still has one, but mostly just uses it to chat with friends and his son. Lil does have a FB that I created specifically for some of the give aways that creators do, but I haven't even used that one in ages. I created a Twitter account years ago, but never used it. Created an Instagram account way back also, but, again, never used it. I even created an account on Nextdoor Neighbor - I think that's the name - but after I figured out that it was all just drama (like being in school all over again), I closed that account also. I honestly see more harm coming from the various social media platforms than any good.

Is there a limit to how many outfits I can save in Appearance ?
LittleMe Jewell replied to LittleOneSusan Teardrop's question in Avatar
Done -- Thanks. -
As you said, it's all about reading the room. There are definitely some people that I would never joke with about age, my own mom included.

Jokes about politicians are almost always okay -- except where noted by Persephone. Homeless jokes are probably an edge case - there are some that I would chuckle at and others that I would feel are too much. I probably wouldn't do any jokes about illnesses at all. Having any sort of medical condition pretty much just totally sucks, so I just think it is over the line to joke about such things. Side note on that though - I do know folks that will make fun of their own medical issues as a way of keeping the negative feelings about it at bay. Rolig mentioned growing old and while I am over the 60 hill, I still do laugh at most 'old people' jokes. For me, it actually keeps me from getting depressed about my age.

While I have never been homeless, I grew up on the edge and it was a constant daily struggle and worry for most of my childhood. However, I did still chuckle at the homeless joke.

All Flickr links are hit or miss for me these days -- as far as actually showing in the forum. At least 75% of the time, I have to follow the link to actually see the picture. It's been that way for me for about a month or so now.

Technically, you can re-order any existing sub-folders by simply renaming them. I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY wish they'd go back to letting us create sub-folders in Outfits. -
Sorry - I though you were dissing her for posting a joke about homeless people. I'll remove my comments.

Never mind - misunderstanding

In addition to the IM files, there may be files for Groups (if you have the Group Chat enabled), and one or more general chat logs (a single chat.txt or multiples with dates on them) if you've enabled saving general chat. Ignore the conversation file entirely.

In Firestorm you can sort Inventory by date. Exactly where the option is on your Inventory window might depend on the Mode and Skin you are using, but the option is there. Mine is like this:

I had got 906 Linden sent to me and I never received them
LittleMe Jewell replied to BigoG's question in Linden Dollars (L$)
Check your L$ Transaction History -- https://accounts.secondlife.com/transaction_history -- that will show exactly where the money went. -
(emphasis mine) Only sort of -- See my post above. When someone goes to my profile on 'my.secondlife.com', my profile does indeed look square. However, if they click the thumbnail it expands to the rectangle that I uploaded it as. When my alt clicks my profile inworld, she sees a square picture, but when she clicks it, the enlarged picture shows as 1024x512 My alt has a 1024x1024 image on her profile and it doesn't appear to have been shrunk. When I click the image on her profile inworld, it shows 1024x1024 as its size. While I am using Firestorm in the older Phoenix mode, the SKIN that I use is a current one and is still being regularly updated.

This one belongs in that new Alt thread

It does depend on the viewer you are using - and if Firestorm, what Mode you are running in. When I go to my web profile, the thumbnail looks square, but when I click it, it expands to the 2:1 rectangle that I used yrs ago when I uploaded it: In my view of the inworld profile, it is not the rectangle, but also not quite square: When one of my alts looks at my profile, she initially sees the same format that I do, and when she clicks it, it expands to the same 2:1 rectangle that the web profile shows. Inworld is all via Firestorm in Phoenix Mode.

Land payments are billed in arrears. When the billing date comes, you are paying for what you owned in the previous 30 days. So, as Alwin said, after abandoning the land, there will always be one more bill to pay, for the 30 days ENDING on the billing date.

The last time I got an old account reactivated, they asked me what city and state I was in when I created the account. That could be a tricky one because my current ISP always shows me at a city about 20 miles away. I gave them a few cities, explaining why I was providing a few. I haven't been asked about folks on my Friends list in more than a decade now.
