  1. Well I got reply from the Lindens again: Simply put, if you didn't let them earn enough money on the Processing Fee, they won't increase your process limit. Now all they care about is how much they can earn from you. Shamelessness has reach a whole new level.
  2. what's worse, now I saved up SOME credits, but they tell me that I'll have to wait for several months, in order to fully cash out. nasty.
  3. the 5% is the fee already taken when a selling is done. another 1.5% is the fee when you cash out. it now almost becomes 15 USD when every time you proceed credits, since they restrict the proceed credit limit to 999 USD per month. it used to be 1 USD fee for cash out, regardless how much you cash out. and then they make it 1.5% and then they make it 1.5%, and limits it to 999 USD per month. speechless.
  4. I see....>.< and thanks! eep, LL is getting so nasty on the money issue, they already charge 5% on each transactions on MP, now they find more ways to squeeze out money from sellers...
  5. hi there, thanks for the reply. I file a ticket already, they close my case very soon, saying that I do not meet the requirements for a Tier increase. They never mentioned what kind of "requirements" I need to meet to increase Tier, all they provides is a bunch of useless links, So, exactly what I should do to meet their "requirements for a Tier increase"? Do I need to get a premium membership? >.<
  6. Hi all. Since SL now have that nasty 1.5% fee for each cash out, I was saving money and trying to cash out in one time. But it looks like SL suddently change my Process Credit limit (per day and per 30 days) to $999 USD. That means, if I want to cash out more than that, I'll need to wait for several monthes and pay even more FEE. This is extremely annoying and ridiculous. Is there a way to increase this limit to a more acceptable amount? Say, 3000 USD? If there is a way, what process or steps should I follow, and who should I talk to? =.=
  7. I am not sure which one weapon you are exactly pointing at, but some (most) of my weapons can be transformed into multiple forms. which means, they may not only be a sword, but also a gun, shield, etc. If that still sounds lazy to you, well, bye bye? PS: might be an irrelevant question, though. How do you view an item's keyword? I can't even find it unless going into the item edit page... Unless you are a ...................... ?
  8. I really didn't know that. Will be more careful next time... Anyway, all unlisted items are back to listings, no harm down so far. The L's said that they are "investigating" these issue, I just hope that they will actually investige it and get that grifer banned for good. Thank you all for your time.
  9. I already state what I need to state. If you are such a friend of justice, maybe you should really report all the so-called "copyright protected" items on the whole marketplace, other than trolling here. Good day.
  10. I don't know if others are using mesh or such, but all those items I made are build with basic prims and sculptures and it's not like I am stealing from anybody. You call that break laws? then maybe you should report another 200k pieces of fanart items on the whole marketplace, so that no one breaks it?
  11. go do a search on the marcketplace before you say that, thank you.
  12. Hi there. I am quite sure I DID NOT list any adult-related keywords like that. The same series of keywords has been used in many of my products, none of them ever been unlisted before, until now. Someone must be trolling, and some LL staff is highly suspected to be blind. They didn't even check before unlisting something. PS: Also, I notice this from a mail notification, a mail name "An item has been flagged". Which means, the system did not do it automatically, SOMEONE did that on purpose. Troll confimed. If I ever find out who did that, she is going to pay for it.
  13. Hi everyone! It seems like a troll is trying to get my items out of bussiness by false-flagging it. This makes me so mad when I saw the mail notifications today. About 8 items in my shop was unlisted due to a ridiculous reason : The item has been unlisted due to Listing Not Flagged As AdultHowever, they are, simply weapons without any blood / gore effect, and also another robot avatar without any dirty bit in it. So, may I ask, is the policy in Linden Lab been changed, or are the staff in LL being BLIND enough to see a weapon as an "adult" weapon? Did they even CHECK before unlisting items? I need some lindens to show up and give me an answer. LL is being quite unreasonable and irresponsible, I doubt if they even look into my items before unlisting it.
  14. Okay I'd got your point. LL is collecting your personal data where they don't have legal rights to do so (since your haven't exceed the threshold). What's worse, they are holding your legal incomes, forcing you to provide your resume. Yes you are right, that sounds illeagal. Maybe you should suit Linden Lab for doing it. Oh wait, that's what US goverment been doing: Stealing the whole worlds privacy. (Ever heard of Project Prism?) So yeah, maybe you should suit US goverment too? :smileyvery-happy: No matter what you do, you can't avoid your personal data from being stolen. So what's the point anyway? *derps hard*
  15. Actually, that means "They don't know it either". My suggestion is, fill in that W-8BEN agreement, and let your goverment / LL worry about the tax issue. they shouldn't charge you the money in that Process Credit step, that's your goverment's (or US gov's) job.
  16. if you divide it by 12, it isn't that much.... and nope , it is not 10K, it is LESS than 10K. so you know how little money I made here... >.>
  17. it's still confusing, and I still don't know what the threshold value is... it is 20K? :matte-motes-confused: and does that means they'll still sent the (untaxed) money to my paypal unless I exceed that threshold? I already declare the income in my country, I really don't want to pay BOTH my country and US in the same time. With so many vampires around it'll be impossible to make any bussiness here... :matte-motes-confused:
  18. I made less than 10K last year, in fact. they still want me to fill that stupid W-8BEN form, or they won't let my money go. Wondering what's wrong with LL and / or Uncle Sam. This is crazy :matte-motes-sick:
  19. thanks for the response.... but your answer is not helping... X.X is there a Linden around to answer my question please? I can't find anything in the knowledge base......:matte-motes-mad:
  20. hi all. I am a non-U.S. residents and I sell items on marcketplace for money. Lately, when I try to proceed credits, LL sent me a link for sign on that "W8BEN: Certificate of Foreign Status". I try to search the issue on KB, but I only find this: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Commerce/Required-Tax-Documentation/ba-p/2336109 And on the document, they say there's a 30% tax rate on my incomes. What I want to know is: . what is the threshold value of the tax paying on non-U.S. residents? . does it charge on every transaction after I reach the threshold, or only on the amonuts that exceed the threshold? Say, if the treshold is 5000 USD per year, and if I earned 6000 this year: are they going to apply 30% on the 6000 I earned (6000*30% = 1800), or are they apply that 30% only on the amount that exceed 5000? (6000-5000)*30 = 300 ? if they apply that 30% tax on every transaction, it'll be impossible to run a bussiness here. LL already charged 5% on MP and another 5% on when selling LS, a 40% loss of incomes can be critical. >.<
  21. In face, they are not suppose to. https://secondlife.com/my/account/ip/tutorial.php? The mesh tutorial clearly declares that ANYTHING COPYRIGHT RELATED are not allowed to be uploaded as mesh on SL. By uploading a copyright-related mesh to SL, and by selling it on marcketplace, the uploader is in the potential risk of having those mesh getting removed and even his/her account being banned. It is just a MATTER OF TIME before LL find it out and do the cleaning. But of course, there's always some trolls who likes to do things even if you tell them not to do. And if they love to waste their monies uploading meshes that will be removed someday, so be it. If you see a mesh that is ripped from other games and if it is sold on marcketplace, don't buy those item, and feel free to report it to the admins. That's all you can do at the moment.
  22. Hi all. Since we already have PRIM_LINK_TARGET that allows changing multiple prims by just one llSetLinkPrimitiveParams() call, I was planning to use an optimized algorithm to change a linkset's color. However, assuming that the linkset may contains multiple prims, which may have different alpha values in each face, simply using a PRIM_COLOR is no longer suitable, unless I go though a loop and check each face of each prim in the linkset. But by doing that, it is going to add up a lot of calculations and the script won't be quite optimized anymore... So I was thinking, if LL ever possibly thinking of separating the PRIM_COLOR into PRIM_ALPHA and PRIM_COLOR_ONLY? I checked JIRA (https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SCR-84?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel#issue-tabs), but it doesn't seems like any Linden employees ever caring about this update at all. Is the issue actually being THIS trivial and LL doesn’t ever plan to do anything to fix it, after such long period? Or is it an issue really that hard to fix? PS: oh and for the JIRA page, actually, I don't think it's Priority should be tagged "minor" at all. It is ANNOYING AS HELL when you want to change a prims color but don't want to touch the alpha, and vise-versa!
