I normally use Firestorm, but due to VMM I'm stuck on the offfical one. Thanks for those tips, going to go check them out!

Besides being impossible to build on this viewer, can someone for the life of me tell me why there's no option to turn off group chat? I'm tearing my hair out with all the damn beeping! I read somewhere, you can't turn them off. Also, the windlighting will NOT stay to midday. It just doesn't work in their palsy enviromental tab. I'm really trying to be a trooper so I can manage my Market Place, but this viewer, crashes for no reason, has issues when searching items...awkward tools...like is there a way to IM without going to the Interent first? It's so slow that it has to go through that loop? Why isn't my contacts on the same box as all this communcation coming in? Another thing I'm struggling with... I give up.

Sorry everyone, one more thing. Remember to take a copy of anything you have listed. Once you put it into MP it's gone out of your inventory, other than in the VMM folders. No copy items, would be gone for good, and if it's just a script, you'll lose your original designs, like I would.

One other thing, I've tried to use the Linden viewer as my main viewer. However, it's really hard to build with it because of all known reasons listed many times. I'm, like all, forced to go back and forth. Cool VL Viewer has VMM but I was unable to run it, and while trying it delisted everything. So tread carefully. Also Black Dragon, but I'm unable to locate the removal tool, or find the files. I'm puter savvy so I'd not put that on your system unless you can find the files. BD would not run on my system, and also delisted my entire store, with some serious losses that had to be totally relisted. Just becareful trying other things. We have to wait for Firestorm. I'm not sure why they're not ready to go. Maybe they're just tired of the BS and time spent, I don't know. But it sucks. One more thing. Don't delete items from two viewers. Pick one and stick to it. I lost 35K 2 years ago when using both viewers, Firestorm and Linden's Offical Viewer, and deleting from both. I emptied my trash on Linden's viewer and that's when the loss happened. Linden logged my account for hours and were just as confused as me as to where the items went. I later read somewhere about a bug that would cause that. I'm sorry but I don't have that resource now. I've been at this for a week, the name changing started a week ago. My first two weeks went without a hitch. My biggest issue now, other than the name change, is the random delisting, but you can relist on the website, which I didn't realize and was relisting by hand. If you just got the merger and you're not getting everything listed, it's because the merge couldn't locate the file (exact) in your folder. Many of us make changes to items listed, so that would pose a problem. You can associate it, and relist it rather fast. If you make a sale, that's a good time to check name changes. Also if you have more than one word in the title that is the same, for me Pat A Kake, then Baby, so Baby Bib, will change to Tux Baby Red. Also, don't be tempted to refill on Firestorm, EVEN though you will see the folders. There's a known glitch to that. Brooke Linden told me not to do it, so I stopped. I was able to associate about 300 items in a day, so the relisting for ones missed in merger should go fast enough. BUT once you delete the items in the Managed Listing folders on the website, AFTER you assoicated it with a file, it's gone for good. So if something happens and you have to relist an item, you have to literally RELIST it from scratch, which can be a hassel if you listed something years ago and you need to find an image. I'll go to InWorldz. I already have stores ready to go. I can't possibly learn anything new. It's hard for me to keep up with Second Life. Second Life has an older generation here. We're not their market. I find all this chatter about a new platform mute,. Linden wants a platform without an open code. They don't want to deal with residents when making decisions. The residents have been their greatest resistance to change.

Brooke Linden spent a long time helping me. I was really desperate. I also forgot I could relist on the website. I feel ridiculous not remember this.

Market Place is delisting all no copy items. I've had to relist everyday over 200 items. Good luck. Can't get any help. No one cares about no copy items.

Update: use website to relist everything at once. I forgot about this! DUH! I woke up this morning to find all my tiems delisted again," We have unlisted your listings because the version folders are empty. You need to add items to the verson folders to list again." Ok, so anyone? WTF is going on? It took me two hours to relist all of them yesterday! The folders are automatcially created when dropped into the VMM slot. I didn't creat them. So how do I fix this? It's like, no one can help. People read this but, nothing. Where do we find support?

I'm a published romance writer and have written hundreds or love scenes, but even I've never fantasized about rape or any violent act, or written about it. I find slaves auctions in Second like and rape clubs the most offensive things in Second life along with sex with child avatars. Just search teen avatars on Market Place. Those sexy little avis aren't for family role play like Toodledoo. Though the battle flag is offensive, the bigger picture is that the conscious of a nation went from a church shooting to a flag. That wasn't a coincidence.

My items are my own but the scripts are no copy. I can't just jump on Lindens viewer to list a new item, I'm replacing all day long. The scripts are expensive so I don't preload more than one, some popular items, 3, so for me, it's all day on the borked, buggy, no way to personalize it, roving sun, and unable to stop the constant group chat no matter what you TRY to do. The last crash today delisted my entire market place. As I stated elsewhere.

You read that right. I spent over a week setting up VMM, removing all six of my Magic boxes, with over 200 items. So today, I "crashed" while uploading an image, within the Linden Viewer, it crashed and became corrupted. I reinstalled it and logged and and went to VMM inbox and, ta da, a message, "We have delisted all your items because your file was empty!!!!" WTF? So if you reinstall your viewer they delist all your items??? More work, more work. Also, description keeps changing to WRONG names.

I emptied my magic boxes and listed all. Was proud of myself. But now I see many of my item descriptions changed to one item, "Baby Tux Red," even though none of them are this item. I went though about six pages tonight and will finish up tomorrow. No idea why the description would change. One thing in common, some were all recently purchased and I "replaced" them into the VMM in the past few days. Anyone know of a bug? I'm not good at understand Wiki's or how to file reports, in fact, I don't know how to do that at all. Hoping someone has heard of this, and to warn others to double check their items that are assoicated from Magic Boxes.

Customer service. I go out of my way to make customers happy. Refund, a gift, whatever to make sure they never have to worry about a purchase from me. I have a 100% happy policy or refund. I don't argue. I help customers as fast as I can. If I can't log, I'll send a note thro my app letting them know I'll be on later. A beautiful store means nothing if customer service is bad.
