Ty but it's the advanced menu that won't open using CTL/ALT D
Didn't that option used to be on one of the standard tabs?
-
Random question. Can't get advanced menu to open with latest update.
Ctrl-Alt-D isn't responding. Developer Menu opened up no problem. Any ideas?

Thank you. I do recall I had a remote that gave me channels to pick, so I was so newby then, I couldn't even get the remote out from under the floor, and put in a ticket to get help. LOL. Hilarious. Because I didn't add a link, or do anything but use the offerings in the TV, prompted my question. It must have been preloaded with these options. Interesting. Now, platforms are much more complex for a reason.

I found a picture of me in the old Linden Houses, dated, March 2010. I'm in SL Since 09. I remember buying this TV and watching things, but note it says Hulu and NBC Universal. Does anyone remember if those services could be watched inworld at that time? I have little memory of what I watched other than a few SL shows. Now, I seem to just get Youtube or poor internet search inworld. Thanks so much for having a look.

Ok, oddly "alpha blending" got rid of it but not Alpha masking! These are products I didn't make. Very odd. Oh well. Thanks again.
-
Thanks. It just started. So will visitors see it too? I'll ck the alpha tab too. Going to double ck it it's one designer issue. Thanks you guys are great.

Updated the driver, still not corrected. Very odd. Any other ideas?

Your GPU driver is quite outdated. Grab an update from here and see if that fixes the issue.

No, it's not ticked. I'm going to try updating the driver... lordy

Since the EEP updates when I used Advance Lighting, I get this dark ring around my screen. I can see it inworld and on pictures. It goes away when unticked. I have played around with the new EEP environments and love it but perhaps I did something else. Any ideas?

I'm still mad Zuckerberg thinks he invented the word, metaverse. He's convinced the world, too, that it's his idea 🤔

LOL! Requesting people not respond a certain way is...futile. This is a public forum and you cannot control what another person says.
Too true. I used to post all the time on here. But I'm thin skinned. A terrible thing for a creative person.

It's simple to fix or refund by good customer service. If I get neg review, I contect customer and ask if I can refund or fix her issue to re-review. Only one accepted a refund and left the bad review. Delisting is against TOS.

Ok I used another program and saved as a jpeg and it worked. So some settings in PS is making my image more than 1mg regardless of size. Time for Google.

I've listed on MP since 2010. NOW every image is denied for size. I've done nothing differently. 1024 was always accepted in PNG. Not now. I've tried multiple smaller sizes in png and jpeg but nothing works. All denied as too big. Help

My peeve is I don't understand why people strike poses at events and not move. Can someone tell me why this is a thing? Does it reduce lag (when these avatars are often jellied out already) or is it a trend?
So real peeve is my bad purchase: no prim/land impact info on vendors at main event! Last week, I bought a pack of fruit bowls" thinking, maybe 2 LI, but one was 9, the others 6, and all too small to reduce further. The entire event display was linked in a manner that I couldn't count the individual LI --everything de-linked and re-linked hodgepodge, making count impossible. I based my decision on expectation of what to expect at a major event, and bought 2 items on my said expectation. 1. Individual fruit bowls and juice bottles. 2. Picture.
Deleted the whole thing. So I paid 550L for a picture because the bottles were another 250L! I had to TP back and examine her display for my missing bottles. Ok TP, no big deal, right? but the event was full! Took forever. Creator just grumbled at me when I questioned her method of non disclosure of LI and how to buy her products. Learned a lesson even after all these years (2009). If LI not listed, not buying even if they're invited to big events and items are cute, and will never buy from this seller who wouldn't "at least" credit me (gift credit would have been fine) and fix her signage. So, I'm my own pet peeve.

I guess, @Finite and others, the bottom line is that there always have been - and always will be - ways to model your business and sales strategy that do not depend on tickling the "gambling thrill" button on your customers. If you want to cater to customers on a budget there are myriad ways to do that with the legit ways of marketing your items in SL, while still providing a tangible benefit to folks willing and able to pay a premium price. As an SL merchant, nobody really needs to tilt the odds in their favor on a gambling game to make a profit, Not if their products are actually any good. Even cheap mediocre ones WILL attract buyers and over time will make money over their development costs. Not being able to tap the well of gacha profits isn't going to put anyone out of business in SL unless they either CHOOSE to cease trading or simply haven't the nouse to adapt... and if either of those is the case there's dozens of other residents will say "Huh? This is gone? I wanted that.. how can I make it?" and become creators in their own right, in the new market.
Even if LL decided to (and could) erase every gacha from the grid in the next rolling restart, this would still be true.
I don't think anyone is tricked. So, are the gaming centers closing next?
-
Like many, I had a love hate relationship to Gachas. At a Gacha event, no, fine, but some creators used gachas at every event. I rarely played those...usually look up on MP what the resells was going for.
I also had them in my stores years ago. I, like many, looked forward to the array of interesting things being resold. Irregardless of gambling, there is a swath of residents who'll lose their income. Resale is huge, with many resell sites and a category on Market Place.
I remember when sploder was taken away too. I loved Sploder, it was great fun at a club...
I'm so very sorry to resellers, creators and residents who enjoyed gachas. Such a shame.
