Hi everyone! After a break from second life, I would like to be back at second life. In the year that I haven't been online on second life, my computer broke. I had a toshiba satelliten, the worst computer I ever had. My question is: Which computer would be great for 3D design, photography and second life? I would like to start my store again on second life. But first of all, I need a better computer/laptop to do this. I need to find one wich is strong enough for second life. I prefer to have second life in high quality and not in the lowest quality. My toshiba just turned itself of when second life was running in the lowest quality. Money is not a problem. These are my preferences: - Big screen - Fast - Larger hard drive (min. 500GB) - I need to install Microsoft Office Student Could someone help me with choosing a computer/laptop. I don't know what I could buy. Apple? Dell? a Packard Bell? I really need help. Thanks a lot! xoxo

Dear Residents, My laptop is broken, so I can't use Second Life anymore. I have to buy a new one. Two years ago I bought a 'Toshiba' that one was really slow and I had to change my graphics to low. I don't like second life with low graphics. I'm a designer and I'm using a lot of 3D programs. So I'm looking for a good computer which is strong enough for second life and 3D programs. I don't understand anything about the recommended settings of second life and the other programs. I just need a good computer. What do you use for second life? And how are the graphics? I need this information really bad, I miss second life a lot! :D Thanks a lot!

Yes! I know a few designers. Marvelous Designer is really simple to create mesh, but you need Blender also. You can try to contact Meli Imako, I think she uses Marvelous Designer. Kind regards, Hermione

I had that problem too. You just have edit it, and fill the category in. Just select it again. Normally it has to work then. That was my solution for the problem and it worked. So... :matte-motes-wink:

Hey SL'ers Do you know a good tutorial for making some clothes in Blender? Because I tried a lot of tutorials, but I just can't make a nice dress or tshirt. I can do the basic things with Blender but it won't work. It doesn't even look like a pretty dress or tshirt. Does someone has some advice for me? Thanks

Hello everyone, I'm looking for a new laptop. Because I bought a new one like a year ago, and this is really bad. I can't see shadow in second life without crashing. I can't see glowing things without a slow computer. Really, i hate this computer right now. So, i would like to know which one are you using for second life? Nice graphics? ... Hii :D I'm trying to create my first mesh clothes. But I can't upload my items in second life. Because it's not a COLLADA (.dae) model. I don't know how to change it. I can't find a button to download the the COLLADA software. (if there is a software). Can someone tell me how to do that? Hermi x
