Pegasus, Did your login die when viewer was 'updating friends list'? If so, you are not alone. I am suffering the same as well as an unknown number of accounts. I have submitted two support tickets but as yet have not had a response. If you research the issue and find offered solutions, those tried have been unsuccessful to this point. Please submit a support ticket to SL. I am an 'honored (yet basic) resident but don't how much weight that holds with Tech Support. I wish this was an answer but alas, no. I am having the same issue with the login stopping at 'updating friends list" I am stuck and have submitted two support requests for solutions. Nothing suggested online has worked.
