  1. All fixed! Adjusting the DPI per the article link worked great. Thanks everyone for taking the time to help. Much appreciated!
  2. Hmmm... so I took my mouse and connected it to my laptop thinking it maybe an issue with the hardware, but it worked fine there. I only have this issue with my desktop PC. I have a relatively new graphics card (Nvidia Gtx 770) in my desktop, not sure if that could be the problem however, I have the latest drivers loaded, so not sure if that could be the problem.
  3. Well, I've not logged into SL for some time and I do have a new computer, but I don't have it configured unusually, meaning the mouse is connected via USB direct to the cpu.
  4. I normally use the Alt - Left click combination to zoom my camera view. I've not been able to get this to work correctly for quite awhile. When I use this combination, the camera zoom's in, but then orbits wildly around the target. I and click once and it'll zoom in nicely, but if I want further control, moving in/out, it spins the camera like crazy. I don't know what might be wrong. Any ideas or suggestions?

  6. Thanks for the reply Shiron. I decided not purchase the Vaio SA as I recently learned Sony is releasing another version of the S series, the Vaio SE (sometime in October 2011). Similar specs to the SA, light weight and dedicated GPu, but with a 15 inch form factor and 1080p screen. Sony offer a slice battery as an option as well. Preliminary reviews say you'll loose some of the great battery life of the SA but it'll still offer some great times with the slice battery attached. I had always worried about the smaller screen size of the SA and so the SE seems perfect for me.
  7. Sorry for the bump, but I'm having a hard time getting past this laptop as a serious new purchase candidate, but didn't want to purchase without feedback from the SL community. Thanks.
  8. Wondered if anyone had feedback on the Sony Vaio SA laptop (1600x900 screen resolution, i5-2410 processor and an AMD 6630 gpu)? I'm leaning toward purchasing this laptop due to its great battery life and mobility, but wanted to also ensure I was able to enjoy SL at the same time. Does anyone have any thoughts they can share on using this laptop with SL? Also, many have said the most important part of a good SL experience (besides the company) is the best gpu you can can afford. This particular laptop max's out at the 6630, but I could also **maybe** afford to an upgrade the processer (i7-2620), both are dual core, so I wondered if the $250 dollar difference was worth it. Thanks for your thoughts.
